Figured it out, cheers. Ended up being $208 for me. Must be my banks currency conversion.

    • Same! With CMB.

  • Me ended up $215 (ANZ rewards platinum).
Is it instantly available to book a free hotel?

    • +1

Mine took about 30 mins and having to download the app to ‘activate’ it (email had instructions about activation but wasnt 100% clear) because when I tried booking on the website it kept saying my card was not recognised and i had to wait 24h. Not sure if a coincidence with waiting time and having to download app but im able to book $0 rooms now via the app :)

  • -1

1,088 Hong Kong Dollar equals 207.78 Australian Dollar

don't use the old conversion rate.

  • Does secondary membership give same free night?
What’s the benefit of getting secondary membership?

    • +2
      1. No
      2. Use the dine in discount and member rate.
      • So the benefit is if you're a family of 4, the secondary one gives you 50% off 4 people dining? Also they get 10% if rooms when booking for themselves?

        • +1

          yes
however, I found some accor restaurants will not count kids as headcount (if they order kids meal)
so if you have 2 kids order kids meal you might already get 50% off bill (2 adults)

I have one occasion that I have 3 Adults, 1 kid and 1 baby and only got 33% off
in the receipt it was written as "3 adults 2 members"

          • @littlesoldier: I vaguely remember a few years ago getting a cold call about this and they mentioned that the 50% included 2 adults + 2 kids. I might have to give them a ring. Cheers

  • +2

I have made the payment and got email confirming the same. I havent received any activation email. Howl long it took post sign up.

    • Don't think there is email for any activation.

After made purchase, you will see the free night and Accor plus membership in the app when login

      • Is the app called Accor All. It doesn't show free night and classic tier. Does that sound right?

        • Yes, it will show as 1 Stay Plus, you can also login on desktop website to verify

    • +1

Same, I made the payment but did not get activated.

      https://www.accorplus.com/about/faqs/
AFTER JOINING, WHEN CAN I USE MY MEMBERSHIP? New memberships take 2 business days to process. After processing has occurred, you will then receive a confirmation email which prompts you to activate your membership.

      • I can confirm no activation email or any manual process for me when purchased this evening, you can login into the app and see if the digital card is silver and with Accor plus tag

    • How did you go with this? I got the receipt email but nothing else yet. App and website both unchanged in gold status i had, no mention of plus.

      • +1

Wait for the welcome email. I received the email today and was able to see the Accor plus benefit.

        • Great thank you

  • +1

Anyone able to do a massive favour and see what appears when searching Singapore for 14/6-15/6 - hoping to confirm availability prior to buying

    • +4

The best one you can get that free night is

      Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy

      • Thanks for looking for me!

      • Can you find what appears in Singapore for dates in between 13/5 and 19/5? Anything good in particular?

  • +1

Can vouch for Accor Pluss. Useful for travelling interstate / Asia (room upgrade, free drink, free breakfast), but pays for itself when dining 50%off at Accor restaurants after work or over the weekend with one other person.

    • +3

You must have been lucky to get free breakfast as it's usually not provided with Accor Silver.

      • Good point, has only happened occasionally.

  • Can anyone check if any room available in Tokyo between 13th July to 24th July?

    • +1

Mercure Tokyo Ginza is the best one you can get for the free night

  • Does anyone know any hacks to book for three people without it doubling the price ? I always find booking for three people annoying.

    • +1

Yes you book a room and request a roll out bed. Usually cost extra and depend on the room as well.

  • Does anyone know if the 50% off dining is once off and I have to use it at the same hotel I book my free night of accommodation at?

Or I can use my membership card at any Accor hotel restaurant as many times as I like within 12 months?

For example, could I turn up to Atelier by Sofitel Darling Harbour, then just present my membership card for 50% off for 2?

    • +3

Not one off, everytime you visit there you can get 50 percentage off, you don't even need to be a hotel guest.

You can find participating restaurants here
      https://www.accorplus.com/restaurants/

It's funny the pump house in Sydney Darling Harbour also listed.

      Please see

As an Accor Plus member, you also get year-round access to 50% off the food bill at any participating hotel restaurant, whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner. No, you don’t even have to be a guest staying at the hotel.

Here’s how the savings work, based on the number of adults dining and percentage saving off the total food component of your bill:

      Member-only 25% off
      Member + 1 guest 50% off
      Member + 2 guests 33% off
      Member + 3 guests 25% off
      Member + 4 guests 20% off

      From
      https://www.pointhacks.com.au/accor-live-limitless/accor-plu…

      • Thanks for clearing that up! That's worth the membership alone for a few meals out, you'd make it back easily!

      • Does the discount apply to drinks as well? Or is it only food?

Any good recommendations for resturants in sydney?

        Cheers!

        • Food only.

    • From what I can tell, it is only "up to 50% off" and as a non member, I searched the 106 available offers and the choices were pretty garbage. One choice in Sydney, a new Middle Eastern restaurant in The Rocks. No options at all in Brisbane or Newcastle and Hunter Valley.

      https://www.accorplus.com/hk/offers/?filter-offer_category=d…

Unless every one of their hotels with a restaurant allow you to dine with 50% off if not listed? How does it work? Seems to be a bit vague without specific details.

      • You will need to seach from
        https://www.accorplus.com/restaurants/
I took Sydney as example, and basically every restaurant in the hotel chain being listed.

      • The url you used to for offer, not for restaurant, the url I posted will take you to fetch correct result.

      • Also more details available on the official page
        https://www.accorplus.com/benefits/more-flavours/

There are some dinning exceptions but almost negligible

      • So just confirming no restaurants in Brisbane right?

        • +1

Just did a search and there are 37 restaurants in Brisbane where you can use this. The best (imo) is Suzette with the buffet including seafood: prawns, Moreton Bay bugs etc, for $120 per person but take someone and its effectively $60 per person which is a massive bargain!

      • I believe the ''up to 50% off'' refers to when you have more than 2 people (including yourself). Refer to 3.2 of the terms and conditions. In the summary of benefits document it is explained as:

''Dine alone for 25% off your food bill
        • Dine with one guest for 50% off
        • One member and two guests get 33% off
        • One member and three guests get 25% off.
        • 10% off for 10 guest & above'
        • In other words, every time you dine with a guest or more you will receive your meal for free''

    • +1

I have a Sebel hotel close to me and I visit their restaurant at least once a month
really great discount as 50% off entire bill

      • what is the restaurant called if you dont mind?

      • But excluding alcohol ? i.e only on the food is the discount applied ?

(alcohol is usually the sting on the bill)

  • +1

Hi guys new to this, is there site I can check complimentary room availability before signing up? Thanks

    • no unfortunately
you need to search hotels via accor plus website
and "tick" the "Stay Plus" filter

  • would someone be able to please check what is available for Singapore 20/9/23 to 23/9/23?

  • Would you be able to check Singapore june 29th, if possible please =)

    • +1

Mecure Singapore on Stevens and Grand Mecure Signapore Roxy avaliable.

  • Could you please check if pullman tokyo is available on 24 April or 25 April for stay? If not, any other? Thanks.

    • Only 3 star (Ibis) hotels for those dates. Pullman is listed but no free stays around those dates.

  • Hello, Could I get some clarity from anyone with the Accor Plus membership.

The wording goes "up to 50% off" when you dine. My understanding currently is, they word it as only 50% off when you dine with another individual, but lower % off if alone / more than 2.

Trying to confirm because, the difference between EVERY restaurant listed on (https://www.accorplus.com/restaurants/) being 50% off versus being UP TO 50% off (e.g. restaurant A is 20%, restaurant C is 25%) is very different. Please assume in both instances that I will dine with my partner.

  • +1

Can anyone confirm that essentially every restaurant here https://www.accorplus.com/restaurants will give you 50% off if you dine with +1 guest?

  • Can anyone with access please help check if there are any free nights in Tokyo 26 and 27/6/23?

    Thank you.

    • +1

Just Mercure Tokyo Ginza and Ibis

  • Could anyone please check available free hotels in Singapore on 10th June? Thank you.

    • +1

Ibis styles Singapore on Macpherson and Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy. Not worth it in my option.

You can get some ibis for less than 100 AUD with the Red Hot Rooms deals though.

  • Man they are so stingy with using the free night on fri/sat/sun

    • +1

I got sofitel on a fri. Cant book during events like afl grand final week.

    • +1

      lmao, you're complaining about FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • +2

        It’s $208 ..

  • price went up? it was $195 yesterday. wtf

    • Wrong exchange rate was used.

  • +1

Just a quick question - the renewal rate might not be the x% discount they have currently, right? I know I can cancel closer to the time but just thought I'd ask :)

  • Any ideas on how I can get a 4 night stay at a low rate out of this promo?

  • Is the room itself free or is it a free stay for the member? For example, could you book a twin room with a non-member for free?

    • +1

      The room is free

      • Cool, thanks.

    • I've never even heard of a hotel splitting the costs of a room between two people!

  • Does buying this HK one differ from buying the Australian one? or is the same?

    • +1

I bought the malaysian one from comments above, and used my free stay in Sofitel melbourne. no issues, suspect HK is the same

  • Anyone know if this stacks with the 4th night free with Citi prestige?

So I can book 4 nights and essentially get 2 nights free

    • I would think you have to pay for 3 nights to get 4th free. So you have to book for 5 nights altogether for 2 free nights.

  • You don’t need a vpn: just go to the country website

    • i can see this too, can anyone confirm who hasn't used vpn went through membership and booked ?

      • Me. Bought it without vpn.

      • +1

I tried and it defaulted to the full AUD price.

        • Try using incognito mode. If it still redirects you back to Au site, then use vpn would be easier.

          • @Micky14: Did that, still went to AU. Just changed the au in the address to hk and it was all good.

  • +1

For this free night of hotel stay, is this one night, is this one night per year? or one night per stay?

  • Is it auto renewal? i.e do I have to be careful that it doesn’t auto renew next year with the credit card I used?

    • I don't think it is auto renewal. I logged into my account and the credit card details used to purchase the membership weren't stored (unless Accor is storing them elsewhere not visible to the member which I doubt?)

  • +1

"Accor Plus membership brings you up to 50% off the food bill"

Can anyone confirm whether it's 50% off most places or like 10% at most and 50% at like one random place somewhere.

  • Does anyone know if I am already silver status does this upgrade to gold if I buy it?

  • If I book "free" night and for some unknown reason need to cancel, does the free night entitlement come back into the account?

    • +1

Yes, usually come back to your account instantly.

  • Can anyone with access please help check if there are any free night in Melbourne 25/11/23 ?
