    does this work for kingpin?

      • This is a funny and relevant video however I'm fairly sure it does work.

    • +5

Timezone Kingpin and Zone Bowling are under the same corporate umbrella so it will work.

      • Can you use Timezon credit to bowl at Zone bowling?

        • +2

          Hey, unfortunately not.

    • +2

      According to their website yes:

      Powertickets at other Timezone locations?
Yes, both Arcade Credit and Powertickets are transferable between all venues in Australia and now even Zone Bowling and Kingpin!

      (from: https://www.timezonegames.com/en-au/faqs/social-faqs#:~:text=Can%20I%20use%20my%20Arcade,even%20Zone%20Bowling%20and%20Kingpin!)

Too many of these offers recently doesn't feel all that "Special" any more these double dollar.

For NSW, Since the $20 discount on $35 recharge, $15 for $45 credit - 300% double dollar doesn't seem good anymore

    • +2

Absolutely, this is the only Timezone deal worth doing. Make sure that you stack it with discounted Gift Cards.

  • +1

Any gift card bonus points/bonus load promos that overlap with this promo?

    • +3

At the time of writing this comment, only the upcoming Coles deal.

Couple of Ultimate Everyone cards seems like the way.

        • +2

If they're in stock, the Ultimate Everyone cards always seem to sell out at my local store when they are in the promo :)

          • @rekke: Ultimate Kids and Teens works as well as they will get the bonus credit as well.

      • I managed to buy some $50 ultimate gift card, but then I realise the reload promo is either $60 or $100…..

Has anyone tried combining multiple gift cards in one reload?

        • I did that using split payment from the counter and working flawlessly.

          Technically the possible amount to add on during this promotion are $60, $100, $120, $160, $180, $200, $220, $240, $260, $280, $300 and so on.

Costco sells GC for 20% off. Use it to buy this.

      • Is that every store? I couldn't see any online offerings for this

        • Costco Eastland VIC has Timezone GCs on sale last time I checked. It works with Kingpin too. Not sure about Costco Moorabin.

      • what is the face value of these GC from costco? if they are not $100, i guess multiple cards? do you have to spend full amount in 1 go?

        • +2

Last time I checked I think it was $100 for $80. Could be wrong. I might check again over the next 2 days

      • anyone from Sydney know if costco has 20% off the Timezone GC too?

        • I'm at costco auburn, there's no timezone/kingpin giftcard on the shelf. Theres not even a place or label on the shelf.

  • Is there any expiry for these credit? Thanks

    • +2

      12 months after last use

      • Thanks, good to know. One more question,. I do not have powercard. Is there anyway to get it via online or should i visit the timezone to get the card? thanks

        • +3

          You have to visit Timezone.

    • +2

The expire once they go into liquidation.

Load up $100 and become an unsecured creditor!!!
      Remember, one day only deal!!!

      • +1

Looking at the number kids and kidults on recent times especially when I visited Highpoint VIC for the first time in 15 years, I don't think TZ will go out of biz soon.

  • Time Crisis here I come!

  • Can we load up and spend on "60 mins" session?

    • I don't believe time-based sessions can be purchased with Timezone credit.

  • Assuming no stacks with $20 off voucher?

    • Yes, with Double Dollars loads of $100 or more

      • So the offer is $80 for 200 but if add extra $20 to transaction it to be $100 I'll get double?

Nevermind. Seems like I should just load $35 for the best rate and transact a separate $60 for this deal.

  • Can you do it via app without going in?

    • +2

If you already have a card in the app, yes.

  • Big Loads

    • Just don't be like that guy that loaded like it was BTC and then Timezone cancelled his account lol

      • Oh wow, noted!

      • which guy? what happened?

            @King Steuart: Hi all,

Happy to report back that they have reinstated all of my credit and Powertickets. Not sure if the rep on ozb had anything to do with it, but they came through at the end.

I am still annoyed that they did it in the first place, but have to give credit where credit is due!

            • @takutox: Glad to hear! Hope you can put the experience in the past and keep enjoying what you were doing.

I just noticed Highpoint has probably the most interesting Timezone in Victoria if not Australia

    Dancerush Kingdom
    VR Motorcycle Racing (IGS)
    Sound Voltex
DDR (Although Eastland has the latest songlists - this machine is very far behind)
    Bishi Bashi Channel
    Taiko No Tatsujin

    • Thought sunshine coast it's the biggest one I ever seen

      • You mean Surfers Paradise? That ones big

        • What do they have? Notable ones?

Sometimes a centre can be big but that could be because of they have bumper cars (eg: VIC Northland) and mini bowling alley (eg: VIC Clayton).

    • Chunithm New Plus too.

I hope they bring back The ⭐️ Bishi Bashi though. Channel is no good. At least Crown hasn’t “upgraded” yet.

    • Do they have Point Blank?

      • Eastland VIC - Yes.

    • Sounds pretty epic. Anyone know what the best Timezone in Sydney is?

      • In what aspect? Ticket redemption prices.

        • Well, if you look at it objectively, 'best' would mean the one with the most entertainment, since it's an entertainment venue. So probably with the most variety or collection of fun games.

  • Can this be availed only once per card? or is it possible to do two loads of $100 to get to $400 value?

    • +1

Yeah no issue. I've loaded in $100 loads via Ultimate gift card via app before. Gotten $400 in total. If you don't feel comfortable best to do it in person.

      • Oh nice so we can use the ultimate gcs via the app?

        • GPay/Apple Pay enabled cards.

  • +1

Anyone else noticed time zone have reduced the bonuses on their games from 1000 to 500?

    • +2

Game jackpots are set by store, not by HQ.

    • Didn't notice in general other than basketball games. My usual jackpot games are still the same.

Basketball games used to give you 1000 tickets for jackpot now 500 for 75 points.

    • Had Quick Drop payout 100 for 41-49 but drop to 70

  • Haven't been to a timezone since i was a wee kid having to go into the shopping centre while my mum did the weekly shop.

Would a 30 something year old still find timezone enjoyable? Or are they aimed at kids?My partner and I are off the grog for a month so looking for things to do.

    • +1

Im 38, the misses is 34. We both go to timezone and kingpin for date night and have a great time. We really enjoy the skill testers and coin machines. Just one more try…

      • +1

You should visit Vietnam. The coin machine arcades are big business there and really, really cheap to play. A few hours of playing and you'll have just about offset the price of flights and a hotel haha.

  • Is timezone the kids gaming stuff?

    • +1

      Kidults…

Some has VR now like Eastland VIC. They have just got Arkadia VR.

      • hey thanks!

  • Does anyone know if the double dollars counts towards the tiers? im $100 away from Gold tier but if i loaded $60 on the day, would it count as $120 toward the tier or just $60?

    • $60

  • Some guidance please. Just bought $100 via the app, but don't see the extra $100 credit added. How is it supposed to work?

    • +1

Sounds like you loaded too early. Has to be on Saturday

      • It's Saturday, 6th May, 1am!

All good now though. I called them and they honoured it.

  • where are even aLl the fighting games at the arcades these dayS?

    • Profitable to have someone burn $5 in 10 second than to have someone sit on a console for 30mins… all Replaced with pseudo poker machines

  • Is there a minimum load amount for double credits? I want to load $10

    • $60

      • Hard pass

        • If you want to load like $15. You can use this and pay $15 out of pocket.

  • +1
  • Can you load 100 with 2 x 50 dollar gift cards in Apple Pay?

    • Must be in person. Or $100 card

  • Are there any games/activities for 3 years old in TZ?

    • +1

They'll enjoy the shooting games where the gun shoots water at the screen. Some stores have little kid driving/riding games that are boring but young kids enjoy them. And Mario Kart will accelerate automatically so they can play without needing to reach the pedals.
