      • Why bother with this tool

  • +2

Even just for carwashing, 360psi (even this number can be a bit exaggerated) is not enough to drive a foam gun.

  • Peeing on your target might work better.

This deal is like bought the battery having free power washer. Just bought this. 6 left in boxhill

    • If you only need the battery you don't need to spend 149 though. for a twin pack its 199 or much cheaper from the used market.

      • The knockoffs on Amazon have a lower failure rate than the genuine ones for me also.
Though, genuine has the advantage of walk in walk out replacements.

        • Not my experience, I've bought a few of these knockoffs for my dyson and none seems to last over 1 year.

      • The 4Ah battery (this washer comes with) $149 vs 2Ah (thinner) battery $89, in bunnings

People who are comparing this to a regular 240v 3200psi pressure washer aren't getting what this product is for.

It's PORTABLE, ie no mains power or water required. Comes with a bottle adapter and siphon, so you can just use a coke bottle or bucket of water and wash off your mountain bike, beach gear, or muddy work boots ON SITE. No mess in car or in back of ute, no bringing mess back home and then washing it all there.

It's for a specific purpose. Comparing it to how well a normal pressure washer works is pointless as they are designed for different things. No stuffing around with hoses and power leads, just a quick clean and go. If you want to clean stains off of concrete, use the right tool for the job- and this ain't it obviously.

For what this is designed for, 360psi is plenty of pressure to wash off small items before getting in the car. You'd never stuff about getting a 3200psi pressure out and setting it up to clean something small.

  • Reading all these comments think I'll cancel my order. I wanted a portable high pressure hose to clean car but sounds like this is just slightly more powerful than a hose!

      Just slightly is correct.

If you actually want a pressure washer you need to step up.
My 3600PSI cleaner does good work on the car at 2M away; this one at 360PSI will need you to be much closer.

The more important number in pressure washing is Litres per minute; and this thing is LOW.

      • I have a gernie, I think is 1500w or 1750…not sure which one but it's a pain to connect the massive 30m extension cable and hose.

Guess sill just stop being lazy.

        • Thats why I went petrol. I hate the extension cord junk.

      • If you watch a little after the time stamp, he says it works pretty well on that piece of dirt. Way better than a normal hose.

  • 360psi max

    lol

  • Thanks OP. Picked one up after seeing this post.

Needed another battery but also was waiting for this to go on sale.

Just used it to clean our upstairs balcony sliding doors where water access isn’t possible. This did the job!!

Seems alright to do light clean of the car especially when it has paint protection. In those times when you aren't washing the car but need to rinse off bird crap. Don't need high pressure but at the same time getting the hose out is annoying.

Quick spray, then drag a drying towel over the area and be done in 3 minutes.

  • Does anyone know if this portable unit is suitable for Indoor AC unit cleaning, given its 320-360PSI?

I looked at other units specifically for AC cleaning(eg HVAC coil cleaner) and they all have 75-150PSI rating and costs upward of $800+
So wonder if anyone here have experience using this for indoor AC cleaning.

  • Suitable for Gutter cleaning ?

    • Yes.

  • Is there a good foam gun attachment that I could grab for this?

    • Amazon USA has all the attachments.

  • Hey guys probably dumb question but can you draw from a bucket full of soapy water? Will this damage the washer?

    • +2

Yes you can, no it won't.

Ended up with the 600psi brushless version, just needed a bit more grunt. Need more 4ah batteries now though lol

    • Did you keep the weak one for the battery?

      • +1

No gave the kit to my brother with the 18v blower too to get him started in Ryobi.

I ended up ordering 2 generic 6ah batteries on eBay and hoping for the best as the 4ah hour ones get used up pretty quick…

Worst case scenario they are actually 4ah ish only… best case more like 5ah - reviews on generics are all over the shop so just went for the one with highest ah capacity lol

        • What are your thoughts on the comparison of pressure between the two in real world use?

          • +1

@FizzBalls: 600psi is really the bare minimum to get anything done unless you use a pre rinse or similar to lift off the grime imo…

I’m really only using this for spot cleans that I can leave in my ute with canopy as I park under trees a lot and seem to somehow randomly be. A target for bird poops.

Should also be handy for getting the spots under my Ute that the local under body wash doesn’t get when I go off road on beach

  • Does anyone know what kind of detergent bottle/foam sprayer could go well with this? I found some products overseas but not sold in Aus

  • Hi. Can anyone who has this please confirm if the "turbo" setting is more powerful than the "15°" one?
I bought it and I think the "turbo" setting is not working properly, since my turbo is weaker than the 15° one.
    Thanks.

    • +1

nah, at least on my device, the 15° one spits out stronger than the "turbo"

    • I was under the impression that turbo nozzles weren’t necessarily stronger but spun the pattern to cover more area?

  • Any reviews from people who purchased? I still have mine boxed up deciding whether to return or not.

Got one and tried it out the other day. Cleaned off some bird droppings off the car, tried it out cleaning the shower for a laugh and it did ok. Also cleaned off some algae type marks on concrete pretty easily.

Works fine for what it is designed for, quick cleanups etc without having to drag out a mains powered one. Mains water pressure is usually 40-60 psi so its considerably better than a hose. Keep your expectations with that in mind and you should be happy.

Sold the charger on FB marketplace for $40 so for $109 outlay for a new battery and the washer it is a bargain. Happy with it.
