      Yes, they're just Bluetooth earbuds after all. Can't adjust the controls though, stuck with the default double tap to pause/play unless you have an iOS device to customise the controls.

      They are bluetooth devices, but if you use on non-iOS you do loose some functionality.

      I use AirPods (2nd gen from memory) with my android mobile, For battery details etc, You need to install an app, There are a couple of different ones but personally I use the free version of AssistantTrigger.

      I have also used with my Surface (Windows) when I needed to make teams calls and wasn't at the office to have my normal headset, you just need to work out how to monitor the battery level yourself.

      Don't need/want ANC or noise cancellation all the time, ie. When I still want to hear my surroundings.

      These block out absolutely zero noise, and that's ok for me as if I do need noise cancellation I have another pair of earbuds which do have ANC. But those won't allow me to hear as much from the outside world as these do.

    This or airpods pro? Wanna use it during gym/sports so I was watching pro for a while, for filtering out wind noise etc.. But at this price it is so tempting. I've seen ppl saying that the second gen is the most comfortable one for daily use? Although the sound quality would not be as good as 3rd gen or pro I suppose?

        Yea pro seems really nice, but I missed out the Black Friday sale of Apple last year.. pro was 220ish something really nice. Never seen a good price after that :)

      Honestly bit hard to compare, these have practically no noise cancellation and that's ok as I find them useful in situations where I still want to hear my surroundings.

      If you want noise cancellation, which it sounds like you do, don't get these.

        Yes I do want the noise cancellation a lot, as living near a highway and I found when gym outside, some days the wind noise is just too loud and annoying.. But this price is just too good to resist and I give in :) As I do a lot of jumping recently and my wired earphones are just sooooo inconvenient to use.

          Have a look at Denon c830nc for $170 on Amazon . There are a few reviews online that compare them favourably with AirPod Pros

        Nah, they said they can’t update address (even though I update the shipping address after the order). Only option was to cancel order and place it again.

        I have had horror experience with Catch Marketplace that took months to resolve so I deleted the app. But the price for AirPods was good enough to return for a one off order.
