CLICKFRENZY23

Similar specs as Brio4k. As per the reviews in JB Hi-fi page, it supports Windows Hello too.

Only difference I could find is that this has 1 Year warranty compared to 3 Year warranty on Brio 4k

Update : ClickFrenzy code has expired but price is still down from usual.

  • Just bought last week from JB for $194 :(

    • Buy again amd return ?

      • Will this work? Never had done it before.

Buy this one, return the unopened one with the old receipt. Should work.

        • worth a try , as long as you still have the original case in a good condition

Follow up question, is the time and effort required from you worth $33?

    • If you can’t be bothered, I’ve had success being upfront with JB staff and they were able to give a refund. YMMV though, might depend on who you speak to

Now those hackers can blackmail me with threats to email all my contacts with 4k pics of me with a jar of peanut butter and, er, never mind.

    • Hackers probably want nicer photos from phone's camera

      Different angles, different results

  • Does anyone know if there is any significant difference between this webcam and Brio 4k. I ordered this one thinking it is same as Brio 4k webcam but cant decide if I should cancel the order.

Those comparison sites are next to useless, they're scraping data and trying to generate some fanciful insight.

The difference seems to be in firmware - in which case I would lean towards the Brio.

I checked the SKU and it's the same SKU as my Brio 4K from JB. So, Im pretty sure this is Brio.

      From youtube comments @halley shared.

There is actually a big difference, as
Erik Albæk Taasti is correctly mentioning:
The firmware is completely different! The 4k Pro is currently on firmware version 2.4 while the Brio Stream is only on 1.3 - and there seems to be no way to get the 4k Pro firmware onto the Brio Stream.
So the Brio Stream seems to be more expensive because of the included 12 months Xsplit license. But actually the 4k Pro gets firmware updates more often, is certified for more (business) video solutions and has 3 yrs warranty instead of 1 yr.

So the 4k Pro is the better package (unless the Xplit license is important).

I think they are talking about 4k pro (this post) and 4K Brio not stream?

    • It looks like the 4K PRO MAGNETIC WEBCAM (Part Number 960-001292) is for Apple and the BRiO 4K for Windows (Part Number 960-001196). The BRIO supports Windows Hello, the Magnetic it does not mention it. None of them say that it is Microsoft Teams certified. I have used the BRIO for Teams meetings for over around 2 years with no issues.
This information is from Logitech web site.

  • I didnt know that Logitech have two 4K versions.

    Similar specs as Brio4k

Assuming most people use these for Teams, Zoom etc., is there really any benefit to using a 4K camera after it's been downscaled and compressed by software?

    • +1

Windows hello is the reason why i love my Brio.

      • If the room is dark/lights off..

Can you still login with windows hello using Brio?

        • Can confirm with lights off/dark room that it still works. Generally the luminance from the monitor helps though.

      • +1

I can unlock my 1Password on Windows with Hello too - which is good for me.

  • good deal

  • How's the mic quality

    • if this is the same as the Brio as mentioned above. Its perfectly fine. Not as good as my $40 kmart boom mic. but its out of view. Does zoom in to the person speaking as well.

  • any idea if these work on Promethean panels?

  • Some people are saying the 4k pro model is a north american model only, and that we retail the Brio version only. Is the above model the "good" version with updated firmware and windows hello?

  • 4+ years old. No deal but comes in handy for anyone who needs a webcam that’s not tethered to a cable.

    Upvoted for not being affiliated.

    • what you mean not tethered to cable?

      • +2

USB-C cable detaches and can be replaced

  • I find the Elgato Facecam to be better.

Got this for less than $99 in the last deal. Excellent camera. Highly recommended!

How did you manage to get that price, 🤔

        Magic 🎩 🪄 ✨️

  • How does it work with Mac? I have the c920 and have to run logitune software to get decent resolution. I really hate having to launch that app.

Edit: clarifying it is just an issue with Zoom. I need to run logitune in order for Zoom to have the right resolution. Frustrating as!

Same thing with Teams and Logitech rep not helping!

    • I bought the Brio for use on a Mac from the last deal in December and was really disappointed in the quality so ended up selling it on eBay.

I find using the back iPhone camera as a webcam heaps better for occasional use but obviously isn’t a full time solution.

Just purchased in Sydney CBD. The box has BRIO 4K WEBCAM written on it.
and it has a 1 year warantee.

    • I just picked up my click and collect and my box also has Brio 4K Webcam on it - Part Number 960-001196.

I'm using it with Logitech G Hub on Mac and the Firmware Version 2.0.56 which is apparently up to date. Not sure where this stands with the other Brio 4K Webcam versions.

EDIT: Just installed Logitune to my Mac and it prompted me to update the firmware to 2.0.64 so I'm guessing this might be the "good" version? I'll plug into my PC to have a look.

  • How's this compare to the Streamcam?

    • This is better.

  • Can these Zoom Out? everyone in my Teams meetings say I'm too close..

Currently using the logitech hd webcam black c270 that I cant seem to zoom out

  • Officeworks price matched for $170 …no coupon …..not as good as Officeworks for $109 last year but at least now they have stock ….
