In isolation, this Pixel 7 deal is pretty good bang-for-buck (especially compared to the recently released lower-tiered Pixel 7A at similar cost). However, it depends on your priorities, for example:
- Do you need a new phone right now? e.g. S10 battery failing, or S10 lacking regular security updates, or S10 damaged.

- Do you have the budget to spend on this Pixel 7?
- Are you okay with the Pixel 7 128GB storage? - This is because the S10 would've had the opportunity to expand with a simple microSD card, but this is not an option for Pixel 7, but this storage may not be significant if you are diligent and use alternative storage solutions. e.g. NAS, cloud backup etc.
- Did you need or often use the Samsung DEX on the S10? - The reason I ask is becaue the Pixel 7 does not have this function.

Also have an S10 and finding it hard to find a good replacement. At the moment looking at Xperia 1 V, Asus Zenfone or S23 equivalents, but nothing really ticks the same boxes, even if money is not a factor…

the expiry of the gift card? the gift card i received from a similar promotion when buying a monitor says no expiry. at a minimum it will last 3 years.

Same, I definitely want to upgrade by the end of the year, due to security and OS updates stopping, other than that, I'm happy with it. Wife has a 6a that she's happy with, but I'd rather get a 7 or 7a for longer updates. Still on the fence as to whether to wait for other deals ie. Black Friday, etc.

Yep in the same boat. Was super stoked that it's was 749. And now it's with a 150 GC. Spewing. I read somewhere that JB has a price guarantee for 14 days. I'm going to try and ring them in the morning. I doubt they will come to the party as the actual price hasn't changed just an added deal to the sale.
you should try, at least they did that to my last tv order. bought one on Tuesday, and 5% wicked Wednesday code came out next day. they refunded the difference. but not sure about the 150 GC.

rushed to wws, grabed $700 GC, in case i can not control my hands
Been 6 months user of this phone, I'd not recommend this even at this price. The only good thing is camera. Fingerprint scanner is pretty shit. Software is not that stable. The whole user experience is not that great. My poco x3 nfc was way better tbh.
Try putting your main finger in the scanner twice.
Kinda agree tbh. I cannot believe that my V30+ experience was so rock solid - my Pixel 7 is constantly having software issues and the battery life is embarrassing.

Can you elaborate? Personally I think the 7 has a slightly better camera, I think that's about it though.
Slightly bigger battery, slightly less protrusion from the camera bar, slightly smaller.
From what I've read regarding the cameras, there's hardly any noticeable difference between photos taken between the two - they are both great cameras.

I just ordered a Pixel 7 after just creating a perks account and received both the 10% and the $10 bonus voucher codes. You should be alright. If using Google email check that the emails weren't merged together as it does.

I jumped on live chat ealier this morning and they said you couldn't do it - gift card is provided after the transaction has gone through. Might go and chat to someone instore at lunchtime today to see if i get lucky.
