Welcome to the ultimate guide of Xbox Game Pass subscriptions!

IMPORTANT UPDATE 26 JULY 2023:

OlduBil: "Transfers from foreign bank accounts to our bank accounts in Turkey are not possible".

  • OlduBil is no longer accepting deposits/transfers from foreign bank accounts. Please DO NOT make any transfers into OlduBil (i.e. your Türkiye Mastercard) until further notice!

  • If you already have the funds in OlduBil from a previous transfer, you are free to use it for anything. For those wanting to top up your Türkiye Mastercard, please DO NOT initiate any transfers into OlduBil from Wise or Revolut until I have a new update

  • This deal is expired and is effectively over at this point in time. Every transfer done is at your own risk!

18/07/23: OlduBil has increased their top-up fees to 9.3% (up from 6.25%) stating "Dear customer, our global operations cost increased due to high inflation rate in Turkish Lira. In order to continue the service we provide you we had to change our top-up commission to 9,3%. We appreciate your understanding and support."

Updates:

  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Turkish Lira have crashed even more, so I've corrected all prices in this guide!
  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Fixed the incorrect plan total amount, thanks to @6wolfy9
  • 27/06/23 1:30pm - Due to the sudden and large number of transfers from you guys, Wise is now giving a transfer date of 3rd July. Please avoid Wise if you can and go the Revolut route. I can confirm Revolut transfers are much faster within minutes (or hours at the latest). For those who have already initiated a transfer via Wise, feel free to cancel the transfer (or let it send anyway in case you want to buy cheap Turkey products and services or sign up to other cheap Turkey subs) and go to Revolut.
  • 28/06/23 1:00pm - Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer. - thanks to @netsurfer
  • 03/07/23 2:00am - Edited method, I'm so sorry for making all of you pay for an extra month for no reason for the 36 months plan. Please forgive me.
  • 04/07/23 6:30pm - Microsoft must have caught on, and are blocking OlduBil Virtual cards due to security issues (good fraud prevention). This is an easy fix, and THIS DEAL IS STILL WELL AND ALIVE! Here's what you need to do:
    • Log on microsoft, then go to Contact Us. Click "Contact us" to bring up the 'Contact us' window. For the first dropdown field "What are you having trouble with", select "Subscriptions and Billing". For the second dropdown field "What's the issue", select "I need help purchasing content". For the third field "Describe your issue", man up and say something. Click "Next" > "See contact options" > "Chat online" then you'll be connected with an agent instantly. Tell them you are not able to add your credit card and ask if there's a problem on your MS account. If they ask ridiculous questions, pretend it's all working fine and start a new chat.

Credits to @Scrooge McDeal, who suggested I make a guide on this awesome ALL TIME LOW deal! And you probably know me by now - if I make a guide, best believe it's gonna be good (let me know if someone else can do it better pls). Like Netflix and Disney Plus and literally every guide I've made, I spent a chunk of money out of generosity to test the current validity of this method (I tested transfers from Wise into OlduBil) as well as annotating screenshots throughout the sign-up process (see screenshots in the instructions section). From this testing, I believe this opens a new doorway to a variety of insane deals and prices we weren't able to previously obtain. Please show some love and any comments, concerns, suggestions or feedback are welcome :)

Modern problems require modern solutions. Like Youtube, Netflix, Discord, Google One, Microsoft 365, relocating (virtually of course) to Turkey is usually the best option, with some methods saving hundreds or thousands of dollars each year added up.

The processes below are very easy, just take it slow and you'll get there! Just remember you'll be saving hundreds at the end of the day. The 14 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺374,94 TL ($21.64 AUD, or $1.55/mth) and the 36 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺1034,72 TL ($59.68 AUD, or $1.66/mth). Note that despite the long term 36 month plan has a higher $/mth, it works out cheaper because if you signed up to 14 months, you'll be paying almost 3 times higher if you want to extend at the end of the 14th month.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • No VPN required
  • You must have no current subscriptions

Part 2a - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Wise (App or Web)

Wise fee: ~A$2.13, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Log in or create an account on Wise. You can use the Wise website, or the Wise app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

  2. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account via PayID (instant, no fee), POLi (instant, $1.18 AUD fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (business days only, no fee).

  3. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, click onto "Australian Dollar", then "Convert", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "continue" then "convert". Wise charges a 1.07% fee for AUD-TRY conversions.

  4. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, click onto "Turkish Lira", then "Send", then select "Same currency". Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Wise charges a ₺24.34 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). Click "continue", then "New contact", then "Someone else". On this page, leave the "their email" box empty, and tick "I know their bank details". For the "Full name of the account holder" field, type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and for the "IBAN" field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. Continue and in the "Review transfer details" section (see screenshot), double check everything is correct and then for the "Reference for TURK" field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Tick the confirmation box and then "Confirm and send". This transfer will only be initiated during normal Turkey business hours and takes around 10 minutes on Wise's end. My transfer took 2 hours to land into my OlduBil account.

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

Part 2b - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Revolut (App only)

Revolut fee: ~A$1.79, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Download the Revolut app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) if you don't already have it installed.

  2. Open the app and log in or create an account (if you don't have it already).

  3. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account via a debit/credit card (instant, no fee), Apple Pay (instant, no fee), Google Pay (instant, no fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (usually instant, no fee).

  4. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, select "Australian Dollar", then "Exchange", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "Review order" then "Sell AUD for TRY". Revolut charges no fee for currency conversions.

  5. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, go to the buttom tabs of the app and click onto "Transfer", then "+ New" (top right corner), then select "Send International". Scroll down and select "Türkiye" as the destination. Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Revolut charges a ₺30.15 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). For the transer method, select "Bank Account" (this is probably default anyway). For the Reference field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Click "Continue", then on the "Who to pay" page, tap "+ New" (top right corner). Select the "Business" tab. For the IBAN field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the BIC/SWIFT field, type in the BIC code you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the "Company name", type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and ignore the email field. Press "Add the recipient" then on the following page, enter the VakıfBank address (the one from Part 1 Step 3) and review the transfer and estimated arrival, then send it off to Turkey :))

    HELP POINT using Aktifbank: Screenshots of the process for step 5 in the following order: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9)

HELP POINT using VakıfBank: TBC but very similar to Aktifbank (just different bank information) see above screenshots for process

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

      • @I Smell Pennies - a minor correction to your awesome intructions - revolut do not charge a fixed ₺30.15 TL transfer fee. It's a 0.40% fee but has a minimum fee of "$1.80 AUD equivalent". So the transfer fee will change based on the exchange rate of when you do the actual transfer.
When I started the transaction it quoted a ₺31.01 TL fee, but by the time I got around to submitting it had bumped up to ₺31.03 TL. I had calculated the transfer amount to drain my ₺TL balance exactly, so failed the first time with insufficient funds (of ₺0.02 TL).

I'm guessing that was the same problem that @cubivore had. So either be quick between seeing the quote and processing the transaction, or just leave a tiny balance in ₺TL in revolut and convert back to AUD.

I found those fees I quoted from here: https://www.revolut.com/en-AU/legal/standard-currency-transf…

        • +1

minimum fee of "$1.80 AUD equivalent"

That makes sense thank you. I'll update the post tonight!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I have an existing GPU, topping up using this method would still be quite worth it no? Equates to about $3 AUD p/m to top up an existing account

  • +1

Thanks OP…Great Work to figure out the steps..WOW… I dont really know why i brought as i got 1.5 years on existing account and now i got a 2nd account with 3 years.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Great guide. 3 years of GPU all paid up. Doing it again for my son now.

    • +1

Thank you for your support :)

      Enjoy both of you!

  • +1

Just completed the subscription for 36 months. Luckily I transferred turkish lira yesterday via wise before sleeping. Thanks for the insane deal. What a legend for the guide

  • +1

Got the 36 months gamepass. Games working and etc. However tried to add the Games with Gold (currently its Adios and The Vale) but it's asking me to join Xbox live gold. Can someone check whether they getting the same thing? Ultimate should include Xbox live gold. Or is it just me.

    • +1

That was one of the first things I did after powering on the Xbox - downloaded Adios no problem.

    • Refresh it maybe

  • +1

Fantastic guide! Thank you! Unfortunately due to my own inattention, I kept buying the 1 month passes until I capped out at the 13 months of subscriptions for all 3 steps before converting it to GPU. Cost me an extra ₺89,97 TL vs following you steps and counting the # of passes to buy (13 months Gold, 12 months PC, 11 months Console). Oh well, it's only an extra $5.16 aud, but for anyone else reading this, count the number of times you are buying the monthly passes otherwise you will end up over subscribing for no additional benefit (my GPU expires 27 June 2026 even though all 3 individual game passes were good until 26 July 2024)

    • +2

      Sorry to hear :(
Gotta pay close attention to the instructions and idk how much easier I can make this guide. I seem to be the only one making guides to this extent.

      • +1

Yup - honestly my own mistake. Multitasking and lost count so kept clicking on auto pilot. 1000% my own fault. Your guides are fantastic!!!

      • The instructions were excellent!
Really appreciating the effort that went not only to write it up but finding the way and testing it first.
The OzBargain community is very lucky to have you! Thank you!

  • I'm gonna go ahead and do this tomorrow morning but I have a question OP

    Wise vs Revolut?
I understand Wise was fast initially but is now experiencing delays do you know if that has changed at all?

Does only Wise except pay ID?
And will either of the above require ID as I have noticed some comments regarding that?

Thanks again for helping everybody with these great deals
    especially in these times

    • +2

Wise is still slower and both accept Pay ID. Not sure about ID, had them both for a while.

    • +1

      Thanks for your support.

      Wise vs Revolut?
I understand Wise was fast initially but is now experiencing delays do you know if that has changed at all?

Revolut, due to the delays as mentioned (it also has a slightly lower fee)

Does only Wise except pay ID?

Wise accepts PayID (no fee) or bank transfer (no fee). Revolut just charges your debit or credit card and there's no fee (easier if you don't like PayID/Bank Transfer)

And will either of the above require ID as I have noticed some comments regarding that?

I believe so but honestly can't remember as I signed up years ago

  • I am a dumbarse and DID NOT key in my Oldubil Mastercard number when using Revolut. Now I'm worried about the money transfer as it's still pending but no where to direct it to. What will happen if you didn't put the virtual mastercard number?

    • +2

      Can you cancel the transfer?

If not, you can write to [email protected] and explain your issue. The processing cost is ₺3 TL, but they should be able to recover your money. They have fast replies apparently. Another person did the same as you, see here

      • Thanks, will update.

        • Yeah I'm thinking i may have to write the $80 off. They hadn't recieved the transaction when i inquired. And after a bit of back and forth my ticket closed. I've sent a new email, they keep getting me to try and ring. Might just send again with the reference, not ideal but still less than AUD.

    • @stingyasian88 Any updates? See this comment. This user did the same mistake and got their money credited by OlduBil. Best of luck!

Thanks for the meticulous follow-up @I Smell Pennies

It is Day 3 and I am still waiting for the transaction PENDING to Clear. I am not sure how long this will take before I can officially get a receipt only. I have tried sending a few more emails with screenshots and "statement" but they just closed my request until I send a "receipt".

I will wait until Day 5 plus before I send the dispute on Revolut. My ignorance has costed me alot of time….

        • Goodluck and please keep me updated

          • @I Smell Pennies: OK so for the interest of everyone thinking they lost money without putting their virtual card number in using Revolut:
            1. Wait for the money to clear (can take up to 5-7 business days)
            2. Once cleared, email Oldubil with the receipt (downloaded from the App)
            3. Specify your virtual card number, and attach the receipt transfer.
            4. Money should show in your Oldubil app in 24 hours, assuming you've done the steps correctly above (minus a small fee).

            Don't give up!

  • Anyone tried this with Steam yet?

    • Can confirm it works 100%

      • I tried. Fails at changing countries (something went wrong, please try again later).

        • What are you trying to buy?

          • @I Smell Pennies: Anything. No matter what game I put in the cart, on the payment page it just errors out at the part where you change countries to Turkey.

            Perhaps they detected my VPN?

            • @Cineaste: What VPN are you using? Try another one

              • @I Smell Pennies: NordVPN. I'll see what else I can find.

                • @Cineaste: Try Urban VPN, or Windscribe

                  • @I Smell Pennies: Hi mate. I tried Nord, Urban, Windscribe and Hoxx. It errors out on the last step every time. Steam must have knuckled down on their VPN detection tools.

When you say it works 100% did you test with anything in particular? I saw this amazing deal on Dying Light 1 and 2 bundled for peanuts, if only it would go through.

                • @Cineaste: Nord's Turkish servers are shit, half the time it's detected as a UK ip, had to use a free vpn to get the GP sub thing working.

                  • @Arealtur Kishman 69: I tried Windscribe. It goes all the way to the end, then fails with an unexpected error. It appears my VPN is somehow detected.

      • For steam games do you use your main account, with this method?

Transferred yesterday at 8:30pm AEST via Revolut. It says received by recipients bank on Revolut, gave it overnight and still have nothing on OlduBil. I did messed up the address to “Hafts Sk. No 9” should I be concerned? Everything else was followed by the instruction. Stupid auto-correct…

    • It does take a couple of hours and is only process during turkish business hours.

      • It’s 1:30pm Turkish time. Maybe they are having a short day?

        • Shrug Based on the comments it takes a few hours after Revolut confirms its been received

    • I did the revolut transfer at a similar time, got the address correct, but also still waiting for it to land in oldubil

      • At least I'm not the only one. Maybe they're onto us?

        • Not sure what for? Revolut and oldubil are happy to take our money, surely.

    • Same! Also waiting to clear oldubil

    • Same here. Sent from Revolut at 8:24pm and I'm still waiting for it to appear in Oldubil. Pretty sure I have entered all the details correctly.

    • Contacted oldubill and this was their response "Amounts through the relevant channel may sometimes be reflected to us late.We kindly ask the person to contact his bank."

Will give it another 24 hours

    • I did the same at 2034AEST, took around 5 mins for revolut to coinfirm that it was received by recipient's bank, oldubil account still hasn't been updated though, just hoping it goes through by the 30th.

      • Legend, thanks for the reassurance. Patience is a virtue!

As mentioned by an OZBer further down + a quick Google search, Turkey public holiday between Jun 27 (half day) and Jul 01:

Jun 27 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday (Private Sector Half Day)
Jun 28 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jun 29 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jun 30 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jul 01 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday

That could explain why people who did transfer through Revolut after 12PM Turkey time did not get their transactions processed by OlduBil. However, that 99.9% sure statement could be a bit shaky (I guess there is still that 0.1%). That's why Wise is indicating 2nd of July. 26th of June is also a holiday for people working at government organisations in Turkey.

Anyway, we'll find out this evening.

        • +1

@netsurfer My apologies, I didn't realise there was a public holiday. That explains the Wise delay. I'll remove my comments now.

          • +1

@I Smell Pennies: Not your fault. None of us realised it. Still dreaming / hoping my transfer will complete later today (very unlikely as why would someone turn up to work on a public holiday just to help a bunch of OZBers). Oh well, at least I know the annoying auto correct altering the bank address is unlikely to be the cause of the delay.

Appreciate your help and effort with the post. Impressed with you figuring it all out (how to do it) and the amazing write up. The screenshots are very helpful.

            • +1

@netsurfer: I've updated the post in both the updates section and the instructions section. Please see the revised guide. Thanks for your support!

        • That makes so much sense. Thanks for flagging the public holidays. I'll see if both of my Wise and Revolut transfer will hit Oldubil on 3/7 together

    • physical address will not be used for anything here unless any disputes later. I am also waiting for about 36 hours now :-)

EA Play Pro is around $50 aud per year in Turkey, might be worth doing a deal on it too? Access to all the latest EA Games like Judi Survivor

    Thanks OP! 🤭

    • I’ll might make a guide :)

      • Apparently EA doesn't allow prepaid cards for their subscriptions. Sucks that it won't work with the VCC.

  • I entered all the info correctly last night and made the transfer from Revolut to oldubill. However this morning it still has not shown up? I checked the iban/bic/card info and all is correct. is it normal to take this long for the funds transfer?

  • +1

Thank you so much for this! I had a year left on my GPU sub, however, now for $75AUD(with 100odd left over in my Oldubil account) i now have the sub until June 2026! You are a star ISP.

    • What times did you do revolut transfer, and how long until it was in oldubil? Thanks

      • Made my revolut transfer yesterday around 1:30pmAEST & it didn't hit the oldubil account until around 6pmAEST.

    • Enjoy, thanks for the support!

I'll reiterate the advice I wrote earlier and add some more tips:

    • Make life easier for yourself and make a basic spreadsheet of the list of items you need to purchase as well as the quantities then mark them off or put a counter of how many you've done.
    • Then get into a system of marking them as done only when you've purchased one item and then turned off recurring billing.

    • Try and set aside around 30 mins to go through all the clicking and try and have some peace and quiet while you do it. No spouse shouting for your attention, kids screaming, etc.

    • If you do forget what you're up to, at the top of the Account management page is a Subscriptions tab. In the dropdown is an option to see your purchase history. Go from the bottom of the page and work upwards to figure out what you've already purchased.

    • ISP's instructions are super detailed but that means the block of text is really dense. Double check what you're clicking as unfortunately Microsoft don't make it easy to differentiate the products e.g. Xbox Live Gold Ultimate Mega Pro Pass Console Version (3 month).

    • Yeah attempt this on a computer not a phone.

  • +1

Awesome. Waiting for money to clear from wise, but worked switching my family account to Turkish billing. Thanks ISP.

Now we just need to pray for something as simple for Apple 🙏

  • Anyone getting an error saying wrong Mastercard info entered? I’m using OlduBil and tried various addresses but still get the same error. Any ideas?

    • Hey All,

Despite contact MS No-Help desk twice, I couldn't get this to work. What I did to get it working was to going into the Account management area and add a billing address first. I used:

Address 1: Ziya Gökalp Mahallesi Hürriyet
      Address 2: Bulvarı No:209/B İKİTELLİ
      Küçükçekmece
      Istanbul
      Turkey
      34306

You need to provide name and phone number and then when you go to add the Oldubil card, the name matches up and bingo. Other advantage is that then when you have logged out and log back in to Turkish site, cc is already pre-loaded, so click and start building your package. My kids have confirmed that our is working great now and showing expiry in 2026.

Huge thanks to @I Smell Pennies for all the work on the initial post and his assistance with helping out others.

  • Can i use the credit card instead? I'm bit edgy that the wise transfer wont land on time to make the payment.

    • Revolut transfers will land on OlduBil from 4pm AEST onwards everyday.

  • Anyone transferred via Revolut today? Mine is stuck at "Leaving for recipient's bank" for 9 hours now. Wondering if something is wrong with it…

    • OP's comment suggest waiting to around 4pm onwards. I also made a transfer via Revolut yesterday at like 8pm~ but still waiting. Expecting it to happen come through later today.

      • You might be right! I didn't consider that my transfer was sent after 5 PM Ankara time :-)

      • Based on the below comments, the whole week will be public holidays in Turkey…. That means we might need to wait till next Monday…

  • +1

Thank you OP. I have a question, I used Wise to transfer the money noon time yesterday, but didn't got any update from neither wise nor OlduBil yet :( Is this normal?

    • +1

      Thanks for your support :)
All transfers are delayed until 3rd July due to a Public Holiday in turkey. Please see post updates.

  • +1

Thanks op, really appreciate the detailed instructions with images. Im wondering if we can play games purchased from the Try store using this method as there are some mighty fine deals for bundles and ultimate edition of games.

    • +1

Yes, it's fine. OZBers do that all the time (buying games from another region that's cheaper). I have some games purchased from the US store. They are playable on my AU PSN account. Turkey / Europe region games seem to be mostly the same as AU ones so you will actually have less issues - i.e. save games compatibility. USA version of games can run into save game issues. For example, despite having The Last of Us (from PS Plus), I am still using the USA version I purchased for $9.

      • Cheers my good man. I just want SF6 ultimate edition without the ridiculous markup for paywalled fighters and stages.

    • Thanks for your support :) It will work

  • Is this still working ?

    • Yes, no reason why it's not. At the moment there's a public holiday in Turkey slowing down bank transfers but you have until July 6 to lock down these prices. You'll need patience.

  • +4

    Wise is working properly.
It's a bank holiday in Turkey. That's why transfers are delayed. I just spoke to Wise.

    Eid al-Adha
    Eid al-Adha/Date
    Evening of Tue, 27 June 2023 – Sat, 1 July 2023

    Feel free to Google it.

Thank you. Keep up the great deals.

    • Cheers. I transferred with Wise and am still waiting. No rush on it but I just hope it works out in the end.

  • Looks like Revolut has also been OzBargained like Wise. I did the transfer of Lira late last night, but this morning Revolut still has the message there is a delay in processing the transfer.

    Also a question:
    - If I already have an Xbox Game free account, not subscribed to Game Pass, can I use this current account to purchase those suggested Live Gold and Game Passes? Or do I need to create a new Xbox account with Turkey profile?

  • +1

Transferred $75 (1300 lira) from Revolt 17.29 27th(AWST). Said firstly the 28th but now saying need more time to process the transfer. No rush though. It’ll get there. Now wondering if I should just get the 14month ultimate and rest for family YouTube.Currently on individual plan until October. First world problem. Prob need to cancel that and create family plan. Added all family in Google already.
    Thanks ISP.

    • +6

It's unclear whether Revolut will still do the transfer now because Turkey is currently having a public holiday. Even if Revolut sent the funds across, there is a good chance the receiving side won't process it until after the public holiday (02/07/2023).

Jun 27 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday (Private Sector Half Day)
Jun 28 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jun 29 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jun 30 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday
Jul 01 - Kurban Bayrami Holiday

For those of us who missed getting Revolut to put it through before 10AM Turkey time (coz. need to give them a hour or two), there could be a long wait till 2nd of July Turkey business hours.

      • Thanks for the update.
Just sit back and wait. Not a big gamer so prob go towards YouTube etc. But my son is. I update in this post when I receive it. Probably “migrate” all streaming to turkey. Know $1 up or down but think easier in the long run to keep in one country.

  • +1

@I Smell Pennies, can you please give an update on the post and highlight that 27/06-01/07 will be public holidays in Turkey? It is very likely that all the money transfers will be delayed because of this.

    • +1

Already done yesterday mate @kehuau :)

  • Ah shit, realised that I tried to deposit more into the oldubil app than the deposit limit. What's going to happen in this case?

  • Can up bank also work to transfer to OlduBil?

    • A comment in another deal (the PSN subscription one) indicated an OZBer unable to get it to work.
