  • Yay! Thank you

Great deal, missed this.. would have been better if it was with CR instead of SB

    • +1

Yep, finally Boost is back. I'm happy with CR or SB as I use both.

    • $12 on CR

    • Why or how would it be better with CR?

      • +2

CR just has better tracking, SB is always a gamble.

        • +2

SB tracking has been 100% for me on their app.

          In browser, its garbage.

          • +4

@mitt: It's always 50/50 even on app for me, and I've had transactions getting rejected without reason or being notified so it ends up being a case of backtracking/recording my transactions and chasing them up. Too much effort. CR on the other hand has been 100% on tracking and payouts.

          • -1

@mitt: I use the app or a browser. I use a “clean” browser with no extensions or ad-blockers. I never have an issue.

        • Tracked easily for me under 10 minutes.

    • CR definitely used to be better like 1-2 years ago, now SB has better deals but also improved user experience in certain aspects. Tracking was also almost instant for certain purchases through their app.

  • +2

    Boost CB is back, yay!

But I'll be waiting for CR anyway ^-^

  • +1

    Yes it's back!!!!!

  • +3

Thanks sween64, I won't have to come out of retirement now.

  • If you port out and back in, is it considered a new customer?

    • +1

Yes. You can also just activate as a new number if that suits your needs.

      • @sween64 - most of us would have been getting this deal under CR, if I activate a new number but under existing email & ID, would SB still treat that as a new customer for cashback purposes?

        • +1

          Yes.

    $14 Cashback ($2 Profit)

My goal to buy a Tesla via Boost cashbacks is getting closer and closer….

    • +3

Create a YouTube video on it "I bought a Tesla with boost cashbacks". Buy another Tesla with the YouTube profits. Create another video on buying a Tesla with YouTube profits from making a video of buying a Tesla with Boost cashbacks. Then buy a third Tesla with….

      • +2

Create a YouTube video on it

        Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..

      • Youtube is last century, JV is all about tiktok.

  • +1

Hey. Do people with multiple boosts, always have to activate by calling? Ie the online activation never works and it says Sorry something went wrong?

    • +1

I don't need to do that. Have you tried different browser or incognito? Also don't login if you have an account.

    • +1

on and off for me. sometime it works, sometime doesnt

    • +3

Nearly all the time online activation doesn't work. Frustrating.

    • +1

      Just use the online chat

    • +2

There is an upper limit to how many accounts you can have at once, you need to call up & get them to delete the old accounts you no longer use, otherwise you have to wait for them to time out.

That or there is something weird with whatever form of ID you are using or your credit card has some kind of flag in their system.

      • +1

It’s the id. If you use it too many times it will flag it for all other activations, but no problem if you call them.

As for credit card, unless you’re recharging, you don’t have to put in your credit card details.

  • +4

awesome, needed a data sim for this month. Hope we get this every month so can top up hahah

such a beauty having dual sim phones! :)

    • +2

Dual SIM phones pay for themselves, absolutely

      • Never used the dual SIM slot myself. So SIM 1 is main phone number, and SIM 2 is used as a data SIM?

        • +1

Correct. Means you don't need to muck around with number porting, and as soon as the data SIM runs out / expires you can instantly revert back to your other SIM for data.

  • waiting for cashback as they have been great with these offers. not sure how SB will perform

    • I've never had an issue with Shopback, though there are others here that wouldn't agree.

  • +1

waiting for more profit from CR

  • +2

    Wow! cannot believe it.
LoL back on Boost I thought these deals were gone for this year. Thank you boost for helping with inflation

    • +2

yes! so excited to see this post~ 😀

      • +1

Yea I just needed a few sims for car's head unit as it is often better to just use Data locally then a mobile hotspot.

Plus the profit earns a sweet $2

And my gut says that CR will have some deal with boost soon of around $2.5-4 cashback PROFIT on these sims this week following this deal

  • Just bought belong 😥

    • Buy this if you have a dual sim phone & it will help pay for the Belong sim.

  • Bought 2, Now to wait for it to track.

  • +8

    It's back! Wohooo! Sim sluts…assemble!

  • +1

thanks OP! came just in time!

  • Are there any offers on recharge for boost. Just bought a SIM 2 days ago!!

  • +1

Two weeks too late, happy nevertheless.

  • +1

Oh thank goodness… i was getting withdrawals from the lack of boost deals

  • +7

    https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/boost-mobile
this deal is available on cashrewards as well or am I reading this wrong. I don't trust Shopback.

    • +2

It is but no profit. It'll be a free sim after cashback

      • yeah that's right no profit but peace of mind with CR haha.

        • +1

Yeh definitely would prefer CR over SB. And the chance of having to follow up the cashback isn't worth the $2 for me

    • +3

No profit, still great. Ordered 2 through shopback and 1 through CR. Will see who tracks first

Edit - Cash rewards tracked 1 min after purchase
Shopback tracked roughly 10 mins after purchase

      • +1

Bought at 10:48am, got tracked at 11:05am
Its not too bad for SB

    • +1

cashreward tracks fast, shopback is slow

      • +2

tracked instantly for me on CR

      • But you have to think the other side too,
SB will works a lot more effectively in tracking (as it uses slow trackers) aka some adblockers on, will likely not render the tracking with SB as much as they would with CR.

If you are someone who tends to forget turning of adblocks then SB is a safer choice.
Nevertheless what you are saying is True as well. CR tracks a lot lot quicker. (just need to get all adblocks/vpn/browser like opera/brave configured) for it.

        • i use brave for my daily stuff, but everything i need to buy stuff, i open a new chrome browser. never had any issue so far

          • @SS625: I use brave for everything, (just have to configure adblock for each domain separately at times)
But yes I agree if you are not that eager on editing adblocks for every site, then it is going to easier to just do tracking transactions in a new chrome tab

            • @USER DC: yea i used to disable as well, but always forget or didnt track.

    • +4

Thanks mate, will go with CR.

Loosing $12 is more pain than earning $2

  • +6

New boost customer means new email?

    • +1

Good pick up. Cashrewards does not have this requirement. Can a rep or someone else clarify?

    • I'm guessing that refers to a number that is currently not on a plan with boost

Similar to other mobile deals that say for new customers

  • +1

    Finally

  • Any idea when will they have $300 12 months deal soon?

  • +1

How do I activate more than one boost sim card?

I always get error messages if I have multiple active boost services.

    • If it shows an error, activate it via live chat.

    • use the same email address to purchase and to activate

  • easy, bought & tracked!

    • Mine is yet to track after 15 mins, I'll check again later today

      • +1

        Tracked now!

  • Time to give one of these a go for the first time…

Guess they are mainly used for additional 'birthday/loyalty' rewards tied to a unique number?

    • That's what I was thinking because people seem overly excited for $2 and a free month.

    • +4

we have actually been using this for our main home internet for months… 🤐

      • Oh god, why?

      • Yes, works fine for a one or two person household

    • +2

Guzman Y Gomez burritos. JB Hi-Fi Perks.

      • Nandos. Boost.

    • My Nbn gets slow with multiple devices. These are fantastic for Wi-Fi each to my smart TVs and streaming off them. You also need extra phones or wifi hubs. I have four iPhones since iPhone 7.

  • Is boost esim capable?

  • can we still activate and then transfer existing number to the new sim or actually have to transfer out and in?

    • +1

can we still activate and then transfer existing number to the new sim

Can confirm this is still an option. Did it on 22 July

      • Did you have to call or was it done via Live Chat?

        • Did it via the live chat option on Boost website

  • +1

"Cashback is qualified only for new Boost customers."
Did CR have this term too?
    Will it still work?

    • +1

CR did not have this term. I suspect it will be approved anyway as i remember it being a term when the cashback deals started with boost and shopback. Hopefully it stays the same

    • It will work. I got my cashback from previous shopback Boost offer.

  • +1

    Hallelujah! Boost be praised!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Keep em coming. Been waiting for this and was worried whether Boost has stopped doing free sims

  • +1

Have been waiting for Boost deal from CR but no love for the last few weeks, will try SB this time and see if it tracks smoothly or not.

Question though, For "Cashback is qualified only for new Boost customers", is new number activation for existing customer enough? Or have to have an identity (driver license) that has not been with Boost during the activation process?

    • +1

Hasn't been a problem in the past

  • +2

Finally after a month we are starting to get some boost deals :) had me worried it was the end.

Edit: Just noticed it is SB… Hope CR does a similar deal, I've stopped using SB due to their horrible tracking and always rejecting cashback. Gonna pass on this one.

    • Cashrewards is offering a similar deal, $12 cashback instead of $14.

  • Finally, and right on time.

  • Wondering if I can buy 6 of these to activate later without losing the cashback?

    • SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering

      • I have only ever done one of these deals and I never activated it and I got my cashback.
