      It's not a scam, he became very popular after people started making him do whacky stuff, and a few of his videos got included in the "Important Videos" playlist on Youtube.
      As YTP, and non-episodic youtube in general loses appeal, it's getting less popular; but there was a time when this man was exceptionally WELL known.

          Didnt know voice actors get paid $5 an hour

          Even amateur actors get paid between $500 to $1k for a few hours work

          Source: my friend used to do some acting jobs

          Alot of effort is put in these videos. Video and voice editing plus planning. You might want to experiment on video editing because its very time consuming if you want to get it right

            @easternculture: He throws an image on a monitor that YOU provide, poorly reads off a script YOU provide and does very minimal editing. (yes I know its part of the gimmick)
            There is no way you actually think this 5-10 minutes of work is comparable to actual VA/Acting gigs…

              Have you tried to video edit before?

              Try and ask someone to do video editing for you, even a small job and i can guarantee they will charge you at least $200
