I'm a new user who signed up to Doordash yesterday and never ordered anything through them yet. I'm getting the same error as d-fxt, whilst trying to get some stuff from Coles.

Yes can confirm it reappeared in the promo ticker on my app and it worked a second time after not working after my initial application to an order this morning.
As noted below it thinks my order from this morning was "yesterday" so may be tired to the server ticking over to a new day (?)

@trixieb: No worries, just placed my order of five items and 3 were out of stock so received refunds for all of them :P The discount was more than the items that were delivered so it definitely works a second time :P

I received a refund for a few items as a credit. I paid with a combination of gift card and debit card so wasn't sure.
@trixieb: I paid with 100% account credit so it just credited back. In the past when I've had a credit applied via customer service, they've asked whether I want account credit or original payment - but for groceries this is my second order so not sure how they will refund.
I'm guessing Doordash would prefer account credit because they have the money in their bank account :D

$20 as free shopping threshold is probably not profitable in thelong run. Would not be surprised if it keeps going up to $40, then $50 once they get people hooked.

I had a code for 50% off and only 1 item of the 8 items were delivered as they were out of stock with coles. Doordash refused to issue me a new discount code….. poor customer service.

Yeup, that's why I always add random thing, make it 30 quantity or whatever, then test if the offer will work. Been burned too many times carefully filling cart only for offers to not apply.
I actually thought of doing this but then saw how many positive votes there were so thought i will be safe. I should have known a lot of times those votes could just be people who havent even tried it out. Looks like quite a few people werent able to redeem the code for some random reason.
I cancelled my student Doordash because I have six months of Uber Eats Premium. Sadly, or maybe fortunately, Uber Eats doesn't do free delivery for Maccas.
