Over a billion shades of colours
Watch your favourite shows and movies come to life on a 6.6" pOLED display. Experience the infinite contrast of deeper blacks and richer darks3 with over a billion shades of true-to-life colours. Enjoy smooth, fluid viewing thanks to an ultra-fast 120 Hz refresh rate. All this on an ultra-wide, virtually borderless design that immerses you in the view.

Infinite contrast. Cinematic colours.
Experience the infinite contrast of deeper blacks and richer colours3 on a vivid pOLED display. Plus, enjoy 100% of the DCI-P3 colours gamut—a 25%6 wider range than sRGB—with brighter, more vibrant colours that meet cinematic standards for accuracy.

Ultra fast refresh. Ultra smooth performance.
With a remarkably fast 120 Hz refresh rate, switching between apps, playing games, and scrolling websites is smooth and fluid. Plus, the refresh rate automatically adjusts based on the type of content on the screen.

Capture life from every angle
Take sharper low-light photos, epic ultra-wide angle shots, professional-looking portraits, and incredibly detailed close-ups. Whatever the moment, there’s a camera ready to capture it.

Sharp photos minus the shakes
Capture every last detail with a high-res 50 MP sensor. Eliminate unwanted shakes with OIS, so your photos and videos are always crystal clear. And with Quad Pixel technology, get 4x better low light sensitivity for sharper, more vibrant photos whether it’s day or night.

Unshakable images
The slightest move can ruin a great moment. Optical image stabilization (OIS) automatically compensates against blurred images and videos due to unwanted camera movement, so even when an exposure takes longer—say, in low light conditions—clarity and detail shine through.

Two views from a single sensor
One advanced sensor. Two amazing perspectives. The 118º ultra-wide angle lens fits 4x more in the frame compared to a standard 78º lens. The depth sensor works with the main camera to blur the background automatically for professional-looking portraits.

Sound as it should be
You want your favourite entertainment to sound crisp, clear, and loud. With two large stereo speakers, you can listen with improved bass, cleaner vocals, and even more clarity at higher volumes. And since they’re working together in stereo, sound travels from one to the other to match the action on screen.

Unbelievable battery life
Leave any worries about power behind. The massive capacity 5000 mAh battery keeps you listening to playlists longer, video chatting with friends for hours on end, and binge watching your favourite series until the dramatic conclusion.

Fuel up fast
No one likes stressing about a low battery, especially before a big night out or a busy day at work. TurboPower™ 30 gives you hours of battery life in just minutes of charging, so you can refuel in no time and get back to what matters.

Superfast 5G speed2
You don’t have to spend a fortune to experience the next-generation speed of 5G2. Get greater bandwidth and lower latency, all for less than you imagined. Load that YouTube DIY video faster than you can say “Step 1.” Pull up maps for your latest adventures in an instant. And have your friends on video chats across the world feel like they’re right in the same room.

Faster performance. No sweat.
Be ready for the next generation of wireless technology today with a phone that’s built for tomorrow. Powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 695 processor and 6 GB of RAM, you get the speed you need to connect to blazing-fast 5G networks. Unleash up to 30%5 faster performance for smooth gaming, reliable 5G streaming, and pro-level photography.

Always by your side
Unlock your phone instantly using only your fingerprint. The combined power button/fingerprint reader is located on the side of the device, so unlocking is completely natural. A quick double tap opens a shortcut menu, so launching your favourite apps is a snap.

This or iPhone 15 Pro Max?

    • +5

      This.
But the motto is 'No phone deserves more than $250.'

  • +2

Hell of a difference in price!

  • +1

Old days when it was $200

    • +3

It was all just paddocks around here back then.

      • November. I got 2. Gave them both away as Christmas gifts. Minds were blown. Brother and good friend overseas They both apparently love this phone. I trusted ozbargain and you guys didn't let us down.

    • +3

Just has to be mentioned every time

    • +1

      And a price error.

    • The bar been set. Hard to justify at this price since then. And yes i got me one at $200.

  • +2

is that the whole product page in the description 😂

    • +1

      Why, yes!

  • -1

What's the big deal ? It's cheaper at Orifficeworks.

  • Review says the phone they got had an older snapdragon 480.

    • What review?

      • Like the 2nd one on the Jb Hi-Fi page.

        • Eh, if it's true, it was likely a mistake at manufacturing and they should (likely did) return it as faulty.

  • +1

Below average camera on this phone is the biggest letdown.

    • I mean….does that mean it's a bad camera for the average person who rarely takes photos?

      • Yes, it's still a bad camera whether you take 1 photo or 100 photos.
The number of photos does not change the quality of the camera.

  • not worth the current price. fingerprint sensor & face unlock feature mostly hit and miss.

  • +2

It should've been replaced by G84 by now.

  • +1

Love mine, been flawless so far.
    Literally NOTHING to complain about.

  • Got mine for $200 and dropped it from about 50cm and screen cracked; was using the case that came with it. $250 to replace the screen lol. Got another phone instead.

  • Damn, think i'll have to grab this one.
Sure, the poco x5 pro looks great, and has great features.
But i can't easily justify spending $500+ when half those features, i won't use, or care about after a week

EDIT: Though people are saying the camera suuuucckkkss. It doesn't seem to be clearance, maybe i'll wait around for any price drop in the poco x5.

  • Would love to buy a new phone for my 13yo who will probably drop it or lose it anyway but I'm conditioned to think that anything other than a stupid amount of money will be a crap phone. If it's not $2K how good could it be?

    • +3

Best bet is to not buy any phone more then $600 ever in the first place.

Millions of people have average phones, that are plenty less then even $1000 flagship phones, and people get by great with them. We also got by great with phones like 10 years ago.

EH. Kid's 13. Get this one, be diligent with parental controls - don't let them get into the habit of tiktok bs, chronically online, and yeah, you should have some access to it, understanding that you will look at it from time to time. And get this one again - buy a second - and throw it in a draw in case they break the first one….without telling the kid when you give them the responsibility and taking care of your things speech 🙃

But yeah, for the love of god, do your best now to help them shape a life that has them living in real life, using the phone and internet as a tool, not phones and online being their life.

  • $331.55 AFTER OWPB

  • Would you consider this an upgrade from the Oppo Reno2 Z?

    https://www.smartprix.com/mobiles/motorola_moto_g82_5g_vs_op…

  • This phone would be perfect if the camera wasn't complete ass. Not even GCam can save it.

    • But is it an "upgrade" from my ageing LG V30+?

I'm dying to upgrade to a nicer camera but there aren't any phones on the market that are an "upgrade" from my v30 (SD card, 3.5mm, ip67 - even this moto is a downgrade with no qi charging)

      • I'm still using a v30+ that I got in a 2019 ozb deal! Battery is getting a bit shabby

        • +2

Same. Paid $350 for mine in 2018/2019. Battery is still decent, 24-36 hours still, but my fingerprint reader is starting to flake out.

I keep checking gsmarena but the only new phones with the "essential basics" (3.5mm jack, microSD, Qi charging, NFC, OK camera) are Shenzhen mystery brands, or Sony for $1600.

(profanity) you stupid consoomers for allowing Apple and Samsung to get away with removing all of these features

  • Don't buy Motorola, I have the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion and are still waiting for Android 13.

  • This, Edge 30 Neo or any other sub $350 recommendations?
    Dont need a 5g phone

    • Good to have for the future though.
You might get a better response making a post in the forums under 'Mobile' like i've done before.
You'll want to keep in mind what you do want - like i won't ever use it, but the ability to use your phone as a radio (without antenna or wired headphones these days) seems pretty nifty to me. Might be useful when the next blackout hits come Christmas.
