Morning OzBargain!

Our recent AMD Guardian build was extremely popular with you all, and our stock is getting smashed! Thank you! AMD lately has stepped up with their pricing, software and performance. With prices increasing on both the cost of manufacturing and the Aussie dollar still hovering around 0.62 to the US dollar, we've done everything we can to keep prices low without compromise. It's a really difficult time right now and for people that purchase with our previous deals, I can confidently say you got a really good deal!

Today we're bringing back our entry-level mid-range build with an AMD GPU. The RX 7600 is a fantastic entry to mid-range graphics card where it can destroy all titles on 1080P at max settings practically! It performs just as well or better than the RTX 4060 depending on the title - benchmark comparison here

You will also receive a free copy of AVATAR: Frontiers of Pandora™ with every order with a RX 7600

As always our reviews and Google Reviews are a testament to our service

Due to popular demand, if you're looking for something high-end with more power, check out our RX 7900XTX rig (same-day shipping)! While stocks last.

Every time I see a deal from this company I feel that they care about customer service even though I never bought anything!

I heard good things from other ozbargainers! Keep up the good work!

    • +1

      Cheers mate :)

    • +1

Can vouch for these guys, got my recent 4070ti build from Lawrence and he was extremely accommodating to suit my build requirements. Highly recommend. Good work man! Will be keeping an eye on your builds for an upgrade for my partner!

      • cries in 4070 deal
They are very accommodating to the point of every individual where they will get specific components just for you alone.

    • +1

Yep I always read through their deals and all the comments lol.

When I finally decide to buy a high end PC they are #1 on my list.

    • Damn right. I'm gonna wait for black Friday to save up more and hope for a deal of a lifetime.

      • Might be tricky due to oil prices about to rise (middle east war starting). Could be ok though.

    • Same, my mate looking for a computer. I recommended one of these PC's, these guys have a good reputation here which is tough 🤣

  • Hows the Nvidia vs AMD war going? AMD still killing it with price to value to performance?

    • +2

That’s right, same old. Seems like AMD is catching up these days with market share.

  • yea but no ray tracing

    • +7

Correct, they are still behind with that. Can’t beat their price to performance though. More games are supporting AMD’s tech as well these days.

      • are you guys posting any RTX 3060/3070 for October?

        • +4

Not those, 3070 is already end of life. 3060 is coming towards its end of life as well. We prefer the later generation as often they’re better in price to performance :).

          • @Nebula PC: would be nice if you could do a 4060/4060ti deal

            • +1

@sinnerman: Replied to your other comment regarding this. We don’t want to do a 4060 Ti deal as we don’t see much value in them. Best to go for other GPUs on the market :).

        • +3

@Zingercrunch to add as well, for those kind of GPUs I’d highly recommend going to the used market and building yourself. You’d be able to score a sweet deal on 3070s second hand I reckon if your budget is tight.

    • You can say the same for Nvidia's competition to this card also, it's basically a useless advantage at this tier of cards.

  • +3

There is a typo in the FAQ section…

For bank trasnfer payments please ensure to put your order number in the description.

    • +2

      Will fix, cheers!

  • +2

Can definitely vouch for these guys. Great to deal with on my recent purchase!

  • Great price.
Excited to receive the Guardian build!

  • RTX 4060 vs RX 7600, which one more future proofing?

    • +5

Future proofing really is a difficult word to work with. Both 4060 and 7600 are great 1080P gaming GPUs. If you don’t plan on upgrading to 1440P then it’ll do awesome for years to come.

      • any deals for the 4060 ?

        • We had one previously with a 4060 but now prices are really tough to work with for a deal. You can upgrade to a 4060 on this current deal if you’d like. The RX 7600 performs quite well compared to the 4060. Check out the benchmarks :).

  • @Nebula PC

was hoping you could help me out with some options
are these RX 7600, Ryzen 5 5500 listed good for Photos & Videos editing?
I don't do PC gaming just console, just need a decent PC to run a few editing softwares.
Budget less than 1k preferably around 700-800

I was gonna get one of those Mini PC from amazon Ryzen 7 5800H(Up to 4.4GHz) 32G DDR4 1T SSD
But i'm worried about their after-sale service and you guys have very good reputation around here :)

I'm using a gaming PC i built many years ago i5 GTX980 16GB but it just feel very sluggish nowadays especially if i do video and photo editing together.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

    • +3

      Hi Poiboy03,

I’d recommend upgrading the CPU as much as you can that your budget allows and RAM to 32GB to allow for best productivity performance like photo and video editing.

Id you can stretch your budget I’d highly recommend the latest generation Ryzen 7000 CPUs where performance is much better. You can upgrade to this on our website for this build and keep GPU as RX 7600.

      • many thanks!

  • so it costs $921 to build? but you guys build it and sell it for 858 for this promo?

    • +4

      Hi Tenzttr,

Yes, $921 to build yourself not including any shipping fees to you. For this deal we’re selling at $828 excluding shipping yes.

  • Hi, do you have a rough idea if you'll still have stock (or similar price-range deals) in a couple of weeks? Thanks so much!

    • +1

This one will be our best one in a couple weeks. We can lock in your stock with a small deposit or we have PayPal Pay in 4 to make it easier on payments.

  • +1

Is there space to put in an additional 3.5 HDD and a 2.5 SDD?

  • What upgrade would ppl recommend?
Was thinking upgrading the PSU to 650w

Mainly going to play CS2 and dota 2 at 1440p max settings

    • +1

I'd recommend CPU to 5600X for that extra grunt, no need for a PSU upgrade as it won't help in performance. An aftermarket CPU air cooler will also help a lot in terms of cooling, the stock AMD wraith one isn't good.

  • Hi Lawrence
When I was trying placing the order, it says Product incomplete, Power Supply 550w was out of stock, by default. Can you please fix?

    Thx

    • Hi,

I just tested again and made some changes, it shouldn't be doing it. Could you please double check? Let me know.

      Cheers!

  • Just ordered a system. Website was easy to navigate. I wish there were decent monitor deals there as I would've grabbed one too!

    Thanks Lawrence for the deal.

  • @Nebula PC Any chance upgrading storage to 1tb etc? Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi @Naigrabzo

Yes, there are plenty of SSD upgrade options all the way up to 8TB for NVMEs and hard drives as well. Please to the support section and you'll see the storage options - https://gyazo.com/415f9dc12ca144c6cc72f2a7db4f3fe4

      • Oops I didn't see the support section! Thanks…. plenty of options.

  • Hi I have a 27" lg nano qhd IPS monitor. Model number is 27gl850-b. It's a 1440p @ 144hz. If I bought this case can I hook it up to this monitor and play games at 1440p@144hz?. Also can it be hooked up by the 1.4 dp port? Or is it through HDMI?. Sorry new to the mini tower scene.

    • Yes, you can play on 1440P at 144Hz, just not the maximum settings on the latest titles. It has both HDMI and Display Ports. I'd recommend our Guardian build for a ripper 1440P machine on the highest settings - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/802709

  • -1

Also does it have a gigabit Ethernet port?

    • Depends on the motherboard you choose, the B550M Mortar has a 2.5 Gigabit ethernet port.

  • -1

Does this one have a gigabit Ethernet port?

    • The manual states that the B450 board has a 1x Realtek® 8111H Gigabit LAN controller

  • @Nebula PC Is your site working? I can't get to the configurator page…. :(

    • Seems to be yes, try incognito. Is it working for you now?

      • I will try again with another browser. Thanks.

        • Is it working now?

          • @Nebula PC: YES it seems to be only some browsers (at work…) Maybe some antivirus issues.

  • Received the Guardian build today.
It is lovely! Excellent cable management, very clean and minimalist. It's so nice, I don't want to modify/upgrade it :-)

Looking forward to buy more from Nebula in a year time :-)

    • +1

      :)

    • NICE!! Pics pls.

  • Any coil whine on this config?

    • +1

I think expecting no coil whine for a higher-end GPU and components is unrealistic. This one is not as noticeable as others but there will be a little bit under heavy load of noise of course. For this build, there is near to nothing.

  • @Nebula PC What is the total weight when you post.
Looking at taking it on the plane with me

    • +1

      Hi Jessie,

Would vary depending on the parts you choose. I'd say a safe range would be 8KG-12KG for this build.

  • Alright, I'm not hopeful but… how would this PC go with VR gaming (streaming to Meta 3)?

    • I'm not super familiar with VR but to the best of my knowledge, we have plentiful customers who are using 4070 builds for VR. For a build like this one, I would say it is a little bit underpowered. Do you have the recommended specs for the games you plan on playing? We can work off that.

      • Fair enough! I did some research and I don't think this could do Flight Simulator on even medium, which is maybe my baseline haha.

        • Yeah for Flight Sim definitely not. I’d recommend our Guardian 7809XT build. Have you had a look? Might need to stretch your budget a bit.

  • Are the parts okay as it is to buy or should I upgrade some parts

    • I'd suggest a better case for better airflow and lights if you're into that. Other than that, it's all ready to go!

  • Hey @Nebula PC, will an aftermarket PCIE network card fit in this? Thank you

    • It will not, the PCIE slots are too close to each other to fit a PCIE network card. The GPU covers both slots, a bit of a silly design for the motherboard.

  • It's interesting you name it after your competitor.

    • The Astra? Our names are just randomly thought of, they have no relation to our competitors.

Edit: Oh, wrong deal post. Just a coincidence, not intentional regarding the name.

  • Why is the listed price showing as $1,028.00 AUD now?

    • HI J-J,

It was always showing as $1,028, you need to put in the discount code in checkout to bring the price down to $828 :).

  • I don't have much knowledge with PC specs. Can this PC build run COD MW3 and GTA 5 (and maybe 6)?

    • Yes absolutely, it will perform well on those games on 1080P. It's made to do so.

If you want some extra grunt I'd recommend the new platform with a 4070 or 4070 Ti for 1440P.

      • Thank you. You mean with the trailblazer and nightfall PC build?

        • Yep, that’s right! Depends on your budget :).
