  Why ? I heard from my friend who owns the phone, the screen keeps playing up and Samsung refused to fix as it is not covered by warranty at all. He has replaced the screen more than twice in a year and using Amex protection as he bought it using Amex card.

    I've spoken to someone who builds electonics equipment on a large scale and they told me the scale that apple samsung build at phones probably cost around $85 unit. Obviously operating something that big, promotion and marketing, the physical stores, warranty etc is where they take a hit. But they would still be profiting at $500.apple is literally the biggest company in the world off the back of their profit margins and volumes sold.
    People that think they can run the place the way it is, off some 20% margin don't know business. It's not bad or stealing the way some people overreact, it's just how you run a long standing business.

Just a note that for Online exclusive colours, once the order is processed then you cannot cancel your order if you want to and support team will also deny to cancel the order.

You do get a cancel order button in the start when you place the order but once that goes away then you cannot cancel Online Exclusive colours.

    I had the same issue, I don't exactly remember how I made it work, but I remember adding a 'BAR Plus USB 3.1 Flash Drive 64GB' to the Fold 5, and then added the buds 2s after, and then removed the usb. I cannot confirm this is a way to make it work but it somehow did for me.

Ozbargain dilemma!

I picked up the Fold 5 for about $1364 on a previous education deal. Loving the device and no regrets. But I didn't get Samsung Care plus at the time because I just didnt think about it. Going to cost me $399 to add it post purchase.

If I use steps from this deal though I can trade in my 256gb for a 512gb model, add Samsung Care+ and only pay $168 total. Really can't be bothered to deal with Asurion again that's for sure but pretty tempted?

  Asurion will find any reason to knock back your phone. I traded in my S20 for the fold 4 and they said there was a small dent on the bottom right corner, invalidating my trade in. Asked for my phone back and they never replied back, but still charged me for the trade in value.
