*UPDATED WITH POLL* Who Are The Most Famous OzBargain Users?

With a successful Brisbane meet up just completed, and the chance to meet some fellow enthusiasts, I thought I'd ask the question "Who Are The Most Famous Ozbargain Users?"

Apart from scotty (clearly the most famous) we could answer this question subjectively (my vote is with JV… lol) or objectively… perhaps by factoring in number of deals, upvotes on deals, number of comments, upvotes on comments etc.

I wonder if there exists… a list of users by engagement… and perhaps even a feature where casual users (like myself) could compare their stats with the the rest of the site (eg, top 1%, top 40% etc)

I added a poll with the suggestions so far (apart from scotty, who wins by default… so this is for second place). I was limited to 30… so please let me know if I should swap someone ….

            @dust: He was a chronic front page obsessor to the point he would individually put games from one sale separately. Eg current PS plus sale. He would put for arguements sake one piece odyssey for $39.97 then a few minutes later on same deal put sonic colours for $25.98.
            And would do this for multiple games as all he wanted was front page deals.
            It was very frustrating and couldn't be happier for a person to get banned from this site

    Dealbot is by far the user who's deals would be most missed. Rarely posts a deal that doesn't hit the front page.
    Hamza23 for his tireless Amazon low stock posts.

    JV I would miss like a poke in the eye if he/she vanished.

    Last but not least Lysander, the guy vanished never to be seen again but his deals were always amazing

      Lysander is in the Penalty Box. I recall them having a bit of a kerfuffle with Dealbot about who was able to post the Epic freebies the fastest so maybe that's got something to do with it? Their deals were definitely quality and even though they have been gone for over two years still holds the record for most number of deals.

        Yeah there's that… and the fact that he was insane.

        Oh man, where to start with Lysander's greatest hits: from claiming to have reported other OzBargain members for "harassment" to the police and other authorities, to his stint at the United Nations (allegedly) where he personally met Donald Trump (lol), to claiming that Mandarin will become the official language of Australia in the near-future.

        His feud over the unclaimed crown of OzBargain's gaming deal MVP with Dealbot just showcased what an insecure, petty lunatic he was; he would sulk in Dealbot's front-page deals multiple times for "stealing" his posts and continually try to have them removed, lol.

        It seems that graduated to a more legitimate income stream than spamming referral-link gaming deals on OzBargain back in 2021. Good riddance, I say.
