WPI Flavours

We now have 22 flavours available to choose from.

Our new releases for this deal are: Choc Cherry Delight (inspired by one of my favourite chocolate bars), Melon Milk (a new Asian inspired flavour), Iced Chai Latte (since Iced Coffee has been so popular and we have had a few requests)

We have kept our popular Asian inspired flavour releases (they were originally limited edition, but we decided to keep them) - Taro Milk Ice Cream, Pandan and Coconut Gelato and Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream.

All flavours are naturally sweetened. We have transitioned over to thaumatin for the fact that it is an all natural plant based sweetener, a superior flavour profile, a neutral insulin impact (as it is a protein) and being very gentle on the gut. A bit of trivia, thaumatin is about 10x the cost of artificial counterparts (eg. sucralose) and more than 5x the cost of stevia based on weight! Our focus remains on product quality.

Also note the Unflavoured option is straight WPI with just sunflower lecithin added at the point of manufacture to assist in mixing and reduce frothing (less than 1% w/w). There is no sweetener.

Product Breakdown

  • 100% Australian Blended and Packed in our Sydney Facility
  • Our manufacturing facility is owned by us and is a NSW Licensed Food Facility with an approved Dairy Processing license
  • For the nutritional information for each flavour, please click on the "Nutritional Info" tab. The best macros are for Unflavoured (Per serve: 29.7g P / 0.3g F / 0.4g C), and the flavour breakdowns will be variable. All other flavours have less than 1g of fat per serve and 1.2-3.7g of carbs/serve. The newer Aussie Choc Malt is the only exception with 9.9g carbs/serve (from the malt component) - I highly recommend it for the taste, avoid if you want to keep the carbs down.
    Aussie Choc Malt has a notably different macronutrient profile to other flavours. Following a formulation earlier in the year, we added real malt into this protein powder which brings the total protein percentage down to 64.4% (whereas most other flavours will be 80-90%, with a few of the chocolates and Neapolitan range between 76-80%). The flavour profile in the Aussie Choc Malt is amazing, but be aware that there are extra carbs from the malt that make the flavour amazing.
  • We only use WPI in this protein - this is not a blend of other cheaper proteins (for example Whey Protein Concentrate/WPC)
  • Protein is added hormone free, ultra and micro filtered and cold pressed
  • Naturally sweetened with thaumatin (except Cinnamon Icing which uses stevia). We do not use artificial sweeteners.
  • Soy free - we use sunflower lecithin instead of soy lecithin (soy is common in whey proteins)
  • Backed by our 110% Guarantee. Try it and if you don't love it, we'll give you 110% back (in store credit) or a full refund (including delivery).   • Best Before Dates: Best before dates will be 18-24 months away. We turn this product over very quickly so all current stock has been produced recently.
  • Free Delivery: You will get free delivery on your entire order when you order any Amino Z or Bandito Labs supplements.
  • Applying Store Credit: To apply existing store credit (Z Points), firstly make sure that you are logged in. Then, go into checkout and after entering your delivery and shipping choice, select "Load Payment Methods". Once loaded, you will see an option entitled "Spend Your Points". Click this and then enter how many points you wish to apply as a discount to your order. You can apply points acquired from previous deals to this purchase.

          • @humanmusic: That would be an issue with the card you're trying to use at checkout @humanmusic

            Could you just check the card information entered - the number, expiry etc. Make sure no spaces at the start or end of the card number.

            For some reason the bank is now allowing us to charge that card, so you may also want to check there are funds on there, or try another card perhaps. We accept AMEX, VISA, Mastercard.

    • In my short experience, yeah they do. I asked to be taken off their text notifications list, and was surprised to receive an apology and confirmation that this was completed within a day.

  • Does anyone know if it's normal to not earn the standard 3x Club Z points on these orders when you get the promotional credit? And when you pay for the premium membership, not to get the $10 Z points for the first month (I wouldn't have signed up if I knew that but re-reading it, it looks like it was my mistake and you only get it on renewal)?

    (I'd ask them directly but they seem insanely busy right now!)

      With this deal, you won't get additional points on top of the promotional credit. As a Club Z member, if you were paid and active prior to the start of the promotion, you instead get a total of $65 of credit back (instead of $50-$55 for non-Club Z). The extra $10-$15 more than covers the 3x Z Points you would normally get outside of this promotion off the purchase price.

      Also, as a Club Z member, you receive $10 credit each time you renew. So if you begin on a free trial and then pay for your first month, you don't get any credit. But when you remain active and renew for month 2, you then get $10 back. And you will continue to do so indefinitely each time you renew.

      • I was a ClubZ free trial member at the time, so didn't get any additional credit. Even the standard credit more than makes up for it though so I'm not annoyed (it just didn't mention that it replaces the standard points)!

        It's completely my fault for not reading it properly, but the premium membership wasn't any use to me without the credit and I haven't used it at all (I don't eat whey, so most of the promotions on here aren't any use for me - I was intending to just stack the credits for the future). Is there any chance I can cancel it and get the fee refunded?

              @callum9999: Hi @callum9999, yes that is correct. With the annual plan, you will get the first credit after the first month of your membership. The difference is that the annual plan has a $20 discount, so you effectively come out ahead by the end of the year.

    Hi! I orderd the 5kg deal, used the code (before it expired) all good. But i cant see my "$60 back in Z-points". I signed up as a new customer on checkout and that was ll sweet, but i can only see $1.79 in store credit after i log back in. - Am i missing something?

  • received our protein powder recently and tested the aussie choc malt. this is our first time buying from Aminoz and I must say the quality is amazing. Missus was very happy that it did not taste like "traditional" protein powders at all. Good going Aminoz!

  • Good deal, just bad execution. Avoid Couriers Please at all costs, and to be honest, Amino Z haven't been great either. Took a while to come because of "Black Friday" and I get that, but the rest has been a clown show.

    The rebooking system on Couriers Please doesn't appear to work, and there's no way to contact that company either via voice or live chat. Amino Z slightly better but still beware the call is outsourced to some call centre that follows a script and really can't do much.

    Took a day off to finally receive a package that they keep trying to deliver whenever (ignoring the redelivery requested date) and just can't get anywhere with either company. A day wasted, could even go to the depot but there's just no humans available to interface with.

    It's almost at chargeback time because I've made reasonable attempts numerous times over hours to try and resolve it but merchant and merchant's agent (Couriers Please) not contactable.
