              During checkout you cannot pay for them with your GC balance, Your gift card balance can’t be applied to orders that contain other Amazon.com.au gift cards. Which suggests to me they fall under the GC category.

                According to camels both items fall under Digital Video Games/Software Downloads, since I have nothing else to buy I might just grab one.

      Just cashed out some money.
      I'd recommend using your phone, turn off wifi, adblockers etc.

      It's always a bit hit and miss, with all of them.

              But the thing is its a real pain rep to do all that work manually.
              And defeats purpose for a lot of people, especially those who cannot afford to keep checking their claims and tracking regularly like days - week after buying or so.

              I ain't saying you or your customer service don't listen etc. I am just saying the automatic tracking failures are too much and then manual effort of claim putting etc. is too much.

    So TopCashBack doesn't have their own app?

    It is very easy to use the ShopBack and Cashrewards apps and don't have to turn off content blockers in Safari for purchases and tracking.

    Will purchase using Amazon / gift card balance be tracked for the $5 bonus? I couldn’t find any relevant TnC though. I purchased something previously and CR dishonoured it because I used Amazon balance instead of bank card for the purchase, albeit satisfied all other requirements for the cash back.

              @dante173: I add Giftcards to my account when i buy them, then it defaults to Giftcard balance when paying. (So i never apply at checkout).

              I think the confusion is buying Giftcards, you don't get SB/CR/TCB on buying those (unless it's explicitly a special SB/SB/TCB deal).

        For instance, purchasing an item above $30 at Chemist Warehouse to qualify for a $5 bonus.
        Topcashback (today): 2% standard cashback + $5 bonus = $5.6
        Shopback (tomorrow): 1% standard cashback + [Westpac] 20% Bonus Cashback ($15 Cap) = $6.3
        I'll wait until tomorrow.

      You might be OK. Last time I lodged a claim they took a little while but ended up manually approving it and I could withdraw the funds immediately.

      As long as they're far behind CR and SB they'll probably be pretty generous with their claims and such.

    My cashback for the underlying purchase has tracked ok (in pending) but the bonus isn't appearing. Upon closer inspection my $30+ purchase is being reported as an amount <$30 which I assume is the reason my bonus isn't showing. I've just lodged a claim for the incorrect cashback amount - assuming this is approved, will this resolve the bonus amount issue too or is that a separate claim?
