doesnt work anymore. 2,299TRY/year which is basically same as AUD now

      • i just joined via the iOS trick, it worked perfectly . $1.2 AUD per month come with one month free trial

I got this on the last deal for our family and it’s been the best! We mainly use it as a backup for photos and files but having the Office apps helped.

  • Microsoft’s auto renew is at $97.30 this year?

    • I wish. Mine says AU$139 for renewal each year.

If it was $97.30, I'd just leave it on autorenew and never look at the management page again.

      • I was wondering. Do I actually get a discount or something.
It actually said that last payment 12 months ago was 90.30 and now it’s 97.30.

Family / 6 users or single user?

~ $97 looks like the single user licence price.

          • @virtual81: It is indeed Family account. Obviously I can’t attach a screenshot in the replies.

$97.30 is the Microsoft Workplace Discount price for the Family plan (30% off)

        • How do you get that?

          • +1

@bobwokeup: not sure what the exact criteria is but your company needs to be at a certain spend level with microsoft, using office 365/etc. for starters, and probably some other microsoft services?

you can put your work email into this form to find out if you’re eligible: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/workplace-discount-program

            • @erigo: Thank you so much, @erigo! I didn't even know my workplace(contracting lol) email address was eligible for the discount. Didn't even realize such a discount existed either. Saved trouble, thanks heaps!!

  • With plenty of free online options like docs.google.com who would need it at all?

Custom domains for email got removed recently, so new users can't use that anymore. :(

Although there is more to the product than just email, there's the storage and office apps.

I will also note that Windows will typically offer you 50% off for the first year of 365 Family after you do a feature update. Which works out to about $70.

Why does this even come in a retail box.

  • delivery?

  • $16.50 to ship a small empty plastic box (or is it just cardboard)? You could stick it in one of those prepaid plastic bags for less.

If you have Microsoft 365 for your work account, worth checking out this to see if you qualify for the WDP, gives 30% off I believe on your personal subscription and should be cheaper than this deal delivered.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/workplace-discount-program

    • I am currently paying $76.30 for Microsoft 365 (via the WDP) but this is a personal subscription for 1 user only.

When I login to the Microsoft portal, it says if I upgrade to MS 365 family, my subscription fee will be $139.

Would like to know if there is any way I can reduce this $139/year - any special deals?

This SaveonIt deal appears to be a one time cost savings and then the cost will become $139 the following year for me.

      • According to Microsoft, the family plan is also eligible for 30% off. Maybe try cancelling and re-subscribing on the family plan.

  • Hi,
I have an existing subscription. Does anyone know if I can activate this straight away and it'll apply for my next year? If not, what's the expiry date for activation?
    Thank you!

  • Wondering if we buy couple of these and add to your AC will they stack up for following years?

    • u can stack up to 5 years worth IIRC

  • Cant access saveonit, thought it might be the Antivirus (Bitdefender), added it to the whitelist but still cant hit the site
