RichRoll-...

Peak design seem to have fairly strict pricing so I was surprised to find this discount code and ordered a new camera bag last night. Thought I would share it here as it's lower than the historical prices and deals that I can find on Ozbargain. Let me know if you have any questions.

It's a camera bag and yes they are pretty premium, it has some cool features like external carry straps for a jacket or tripod.

    • Try refreshing again, I'm just trying to get this post setup properly but I'm a bit inexperienced and have a wriggling baby on my shoulder.

    • try opening the link with microsoft edge, i think adblocks will block that page

      • It works for me with Brave and Firefox with Ublock Origin.

the Aluminum Travel Tripod after discount is $463.96 which seems pretty good

Most other brands would give you CF at this price…

    • From the reviews I have seen the Ulanzi has a much better designed ball head.

      • i watched a few videos too, felt like all the reviews are pushing this narrative :/

they've def changed their strategy from only 1 sale per year to coupons and vouchers and discounts throughout the year.

Fair warning the 3L is quite small, really for 1 camera carry with no extra lenses generally, even if you're rocking M43.

I found it to be too small and 6L is my go-to everyday.

I'm finding the 10L way too big and it's gets heavy. 6L seems like the sweet spot.

Can confirm both your observations. 6L is just about perfect, and is quite versatile.

  • Yes, it's mostly for my partner who is a fair bit smaller than I am she just got the Sony Alpha IV with 24 - 70mm Simga Art and won't be carrying any extra lenses for some time.

I have the 3L v2 sling. It fits A7III plus 24mm 1.4 GM plus 85mm 1.8 plus peak design strap. Been with me on all kinds of travels and I love the size and ease of carry versus a backpack .

Here's a pretty good video from the Peak Design team - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbxWGjQ2szQ

Have a few peak design items personally (Sling, Messenger Bag and a few camera straps) and am very happy with all the products.

    • Thanks for that. I bought one.

      • The Ulanzi one?

        • Yes, looks like good value and I will only use it when I don't need to carry more gear.

Thanks mate, saved me $90 on the 45L travel bag

Great spot, thanks. Been deliberating and reading reviews online between this and Bellroy bags but this got me over, bought a 30L travel bag and tech pouch. Gonna buy some cheaper travel cubes off amazon instead but this is a great price.

    Saved me 6.99 thanks brudda

Getting the packable tote. I've been folding expo tote bags for a while. The PD one is a bit bulkier but looks bigger and has a zip + better materials. Also looks super easy to pack, you just invert one of the inside pockets and stuff it all in.
