Google Pixel Stand Wireless Charger (1st Gen) $34 Delivered @ Mobileciti

740
BXDEAL

I think this is an all time low on a fairly high quality wireless charger (RRP $119). The closest comparable price on ozbargain was $60 for the 2nd gen version. Use coupon BXDEAL at checkout for $10 off the $44 list price.

New AU stock, comes with a compatible power adapter and cable. Maximum charging speed is slower than the 2nd gen, but otherwise I think they're pretty similar (and you'll have to turn your pixel buds upside down).

I ordered one yesterday and it was dispatched the same day. Edit: Arrived today. They don't say this on the site but it was express posted.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2023

    Thanks OP.

Compatibility: The Pixel Stand can charge most phones that work with Qi wireless charging.

  • Does it have a fan?

    • Yes - Jamosium.

I could be wrong, but, I think only the Gen 2 version has the fan.

        correct this one doesn't

Thanks OP. I just ordered one.

The speeds for it are 10w, pretty low. If you're using a normal Qi-enabled device, it's probably best you get something else.

The Gen 2 stand(23w charge) was 89 on Google, which was a little tempting ($8.90 cashback if you'd got the associated plan).

I figure I only use wireless for passive charging so the speed doesn't matter too much. If I want fast charging I use a cable, otherwise it's nice to put a tiny bit less stress on the battery (though the fan in the 2nd gen version probably helps).

    +delivery of $7.8

A free delivery option becomes available once the promo code is entered.

I didn't scroll back up after entering the code 😥 but I called them and they credited the shipping back to me so thanks for pointing this out.😃

    • Edit: Other commenter is correct, apply coupon first.

Looks like they just removed the free delivery option. I didn't have to pay anything for delivery to Hobart when I ordered yesterday.

    • Delivery is free still

  • I ordered one for my pixel 7 so I will see how it goes. I can't justify the cost of the 2nd generation and I really only ever charge overnight so the slower speed isn't going to be a huge issue either.

  • Does it with with pixel 7?

    • Works with Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Buds Pro.

      • Thanks

  • Good for work. Does it have the power brick or byo?

    • +1

Comes with power brick and cable.

  • Thanks OP ordered one with free shipping for $34.

  • Thank OP, got one.

  • Thanks OP! Got one for my Pixel 7 which will also serve as a stand on my desk.

  • This can't be compared to the 2nd gen version…

  • What speed will it charge a Samsung Galaxy S series phone?

    • It's a 10w charger no matter what phone is put on it. Quite slow compared to cable and less than half the speed of most "current" modern wireless qi chargers.

It's a fine desk charger but if you forgot to charge the night before it's not going to give you a supply to burn while it's doing other stuff

      • Ok thank you!

  • Will this charge a pixel 6 and above?

  • I will wait for gen2 close to that $60 point.

Lol povo can't afford an Apple device

      • +2

Nice, the type of reply that is deserved even if the person wasn't trolling and genuinely believes that.

    • Not just because you can afford it but also the gen 2 suits your phone more (read my comment below)

    10w Gen1 vs 23w Gen2

I'd say 15w is the minimum for wireless chargers these days, factoring the efficiency and your phone case, you can get only ~7w from the gen1 (based on my theory), you are unlikely to have a battery ready for the go.

Also, quite many used gen 2 on the marketplace for $50 and under. That's my daily charger.
