It's working, just tried it before posting. Have you read this part on the description?

        My bad. Sorry

        • +2

Don't be sorry. Be better ahhhhh fu 2024

    • +4

Sounds like you weren't…..tuned in…..to the wording of the post?

  • Worked for me - Thankyou!

  • Created one. Thanks OP

  • +1

I'm thinking this is only supposed to be given to people with a Rivian. As far as i can tell Rivian is a brand of car overseas being sold in the USA.

    • Last time didn't last long. So whoever didn't get it last time, here is the chance.

      • -2

Yeah i'm just thinking about the $80 USD i would be slugged in 12 months time if i got hooked on it. That's not a small sum of money. Which is stopping me from getting this. I already get enough music through Spotify.

        • +1

I took the freebie and then cancelled immediately. I still keep my freebie. It might be another 12 month freebie in the future.

          • @Scrooge McDeal: Well thanks this convinced me. I got it. It may end up replacing Spotify when the 3 month trial ends because it ends up a little cheaper per year. All these music channels would be tops.

          • @Scrooge McDeal: Just reaffirming for readers - I cancelled my subscription and I still have premium until 2025. So definitely follow that part of the instructions lol

        • Was monthly for me - $9.99, and can confirm working with Wise digital card.

  • Not working with Revolut cards

    • +1

It doesn't work with single use Revolut cards, but works with the other Revolut cards. That's what I have used. Also someone mentioned on the previous deal that they used Coles MasterCard that had $1 in it. If you have one of those it would be even better.

      • I tried with Wise, and it works. Thanks OP

        • +2

No worries. Don't forget to cancel immediately, so they don't charge you after 12 months. You still keep your free 12 month subscription, after cancelation.

    • +1

      Not working with Revolut cards

      That's revoluting

  • +1

Thanks OP! Not sure I'll ever use it though XD

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Worked perfectly

Pairing failed try with a new pin. Wtf?

    • +4

Have you read the description? That means it worked.

      • I have to read? Farken hell…

        • +2

Maybe download an ebook and listen to it for instructions.

  • Worked for me too, cheers OP

  • -1

What do you do at the end of the trial? Cancel it?

    • +2

At the end of the trial you come back to this post and read it.

You may immediately cancel your recurring billing at TuneIn in order to avoid being charged after 12 months. The initial 12-month trial will still be active

  • Worked and cancelled.

Thank you @Scrooge McDeal for the constant great posts and reminder deals!

  • +1

Thanks! It worked perfectly for me (following the instructions). TuneIn is one of the few supported Apple Carplay apps (and I don't use Spotify etc), so hopefully this will be suitable for listening to online radio in the car.

  • +1

    Worked, thanks

  • +1

    Cheers OP.

  • +1

    It worked. Thanks 😊

  • Worked with revolut standard. Remember to follow the instructions exactly listed by the OP. Thanks OP.

Finally login to tune in website separately on the browser and cancel the subscription. In my case it was only monthly.

  • Thanks OP legend

  • +1

There's a Windows Desktop app. It seems to be working great. Also there's a Google Play app. Listening to WHUR-FM in the USA.

  • Many thanks OP, sounds like this is on par with Audible

  • Thanks OP. Worked perfectly.

  • Great! Thanks OP

  • Cheers, missed out last time. This worked fine

  • +3

I keep getting "an error occurred, please try again" (so different to the error message in the OPs first message) - anyone else? Tried with 2 different mastercard credit cards

    • Have you refreshed page and checked that you haven't got the 12 month subscription? Most probably you already got the freebie.

      • I have never had a tunein account before mate. I refreshed and didn't get the 12 month trial. Hmmm

        • Once that error comes up. Go to the profile to see your status of your subscription. I would be 99% sure that it worked. Make sure to cancel both subscriptions, so they don't come back and charge you after 12 months.

          • @Scrooge McDeal: Yes I checked my profile, it didn't go through.

            • @dinglejerry: I'm the same.

If I click 'no thanks" instead of "start 12 month free trial" I then get the QR/pin error. But this is before I've put in my credit card details.

        • I also kept getting that message but after I abandoned the checkout, logged into the site using the account I’d made and went to Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchase it was all good.

          • +1

@benerrol: Yes I tried restore purchase, I just get "no subscription purchases found" or something like that

            • @dinglejerry: Same exact outcome for me too

              • @nickeveli: Maybe the deal expired. Tried 3 credit cards and same outcome.

            • @dinglejerry: Same error for me: "an error occurred, please try again"
              Tried twice.
Restore purchases says ""no subscription purchases found".

A repeat of this popular deal

Which was posted 5 months and 12 days ago, which is about 20 days short of the 6 month rule for reposting.

Perhaps the old deal should be marked as long running

    • You are free to report the deal. That would be a great idea to remove expiring from the previous deal. So many people would have seen it. 😄

  • Great! Thanks OP.

  • -1

I didn't even get to the payment section, as soon as I try and log in it just gives me 'Pairing failed. Please try again with a new pin or qr code.'

  • Not working tried multiple cards and different new accounts

  • all my cards were rejected despite all are valid - so I went to their competition myTuner Radio one off lifetime premium license $22.99 - done and happy as.

    • Does the competition have audiobooks?

      • I don't 'read' audiobooks, I read it in paper format.

  • I'm seeing a different error…

An error occurred please try again.

Tried twice, can see a $0.00 entry on my card, but it doesn't look like I have Premium. Just regular dick account

    • It could be that the deal it's expired. I am not sure.

      • All good, was worth a shot! 😂

    • I'm getting the same thing.

    • +6

What's your problem? You came late to the party. And you missed out. That's not a reason to neg the deal.

    • +2

You're not just a beast on the road. A beast on the keyboard as well. I hope you don't have a partner or kids.

  • +6

Still remember buying a lifetime licence for TuneIn. Lasted maybe a year or so before they retrospectively shitcanned them all.

  • +1

Not working for me either - looks like they've cottoned on

    • There's probably a limit to the amount of giveaways during these promo events. And it's been exhausted.

  • Created account but it's gone, will try my luck next time

    • Ditto

  • Didn't work for me. It wouldn't get past payment with my NAB card. "Try again later". Also didn't won't with Google Pay - "An error occurred. Please try again."

    • It worked fine for me with my ME bank Mastercard debit. But this was before this deal expired.

  • Thx op managed to just sneak it in. Weird though signed in then with my car and it played an ad before going to the radio station. Would have thought premium would stop that.

    • Premium shouldn't have ads. Have you checked the status of your subscription in your profile?

      • Says Payment Details:
Your subscription will end on 1/3/2025. You can renew your subscription for $9.99!

        • That sounds about right. But it should have been ad free. I claimed the freebie, haven't tried it yet.

  • I'm in NZ but had to use a VPN to do this, once signed up though the app works like it's a premium sub so maybe try that of you have no luck.

    • Mind sharing more details please?

      • I got an error that said it wasn't available in my region on the website and after getting the deal without a VPN on the website it completely lacks the subscription tab under my account.

Flipped on nordvpn in the states and then the error went away and the deal worked. It was still an active deal then though. Worth a try for those that get errors. It may just be that I'm in NZ not Australia and they don't bother with premium here.
