  • Lian Li Lancool III adds an extra $2035 btw.

    • +1

      Fixed, thank you!

  • Here they come! Looking for the cheapest possible rig with a 4070 Ti super.

  • Hi Rep, any chance of selling just the GPU in the future? Pick-up or delivery.

    • Only full systems at this stage :).

If you're after a bundle I will work out a sweet deal for you.

      • Any chance I could buy the system disassembled?

        • +1

          @Variableaperture

Sorry no, this in turn has caused more trouble and warranty issues and bulk time on both ends. We used to do this but after unfortunate cases, we are unable to offer this anymore. We would need to build and QC the system in-house to ensure it is working without skipping a beat before it's ready for pick up or despatch :). Hope you understand!

If it's a time thing, we are very well caught up with orders as January isn't the busiest month!

          • @Nebula PC: Mostly that if I were to buy it, I would just be tearing at apart anyway. So save both of us a couple of steps.

            All good though.

      • By bundle, do you mean just pick a CPU and GPU to sell together, independant of a whole system?

        • I mean a bundle of parts yes, most likely motherboard, CPU and RAM together. GPU as well if you'd like.

          • @Nebula PC: I assume we can just dm you or shoot you an email with a list of wanted parts?

            • +1

@Bomba: Yes of course. We can work it out.

        • Keen to know this as well

      • On the flip side - Can you offer it without the GPU, or should me and @Bomba just work that out between ourselves?

  • +1

hmmm thoughts on the 7800X3D build vs this one for 4K gaming?

    https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/sv-el4080-siren-vortex-el…

For an extra $370 you get 4080 (non-S) and 32gb ram. I was hoping the 4070 Ti Super was going to be close to the 4080 but it appears there's still a large gap.

    • +1

Also, the BPC deal offers arguably better timings on RAM, better motherboard (B650M), faster SSD (on paper anyway), and better PSU (850W 80+ Platinum) - all of which eat into the $370 differential.

    • +1

I will pick bpc just for the better parts listed and plus they have a better upgradable path. A620 mobo is not future proofing compared to b650.

      • +1

oh yeah I didn't even see it was an A620 Mobo. B650 has better VRMs for 7800X3D right?

        • yeah the a620 is dogshit in most respects

      • Does it matter between A620 and B650 if you're not planning to upgrade in the future?

        • You can defs get over with the A620 if not upgrading

    • that a bpc better pc by country mile.

      MUCH better ram..

and the gpu will be on average 26 percent faster

    • The BPC build is better value for money build. Nebula is better on reputation and for quality control…
If I personally was going to buy I would go BPC. Their upgrade paths are actually really decent in price as well

      • Yea I think that BPC one is better bang for bucks. But man I was planning to throw 1.5k on a new PC. Now it's like 2k with the ti super launching. Then gonna be 2.5k ish for the BPC one cuz I'm the kind of guy who wants the most bang for buck product LOL..

  • +1

So 4070ti super is slower then 7900xt and costs $400 more?
    Rt not counted
    Lol
As I said this super refresh is nothing but a scam
Wait for prices to hit $1100 soon

    • +1

Will have to wait for Nvidia to drop their price if they do :(. Unfortunately, these are the cards we are dealt and it will most definitely not be for all.

      • +6

these are the cards we are dealt

        • Golf clap *
  • Waiting for 4080 Ti Super Max XTX FTW founders edition

  • +1

    HODL

  • +5

imagine you dont follow the gpu scene and want to buy a new card
    you have a choice of
    4070
    4070ti
    4070 super
    4070ti super

cmon Nvidia, your taking the piss right now

    • +1

I thought the 4070ti super was just a meme until a week ago

  • +4

I’m probably going to get Negged,

But wouldn’t it be best to wait for the 4080 card in a week or two when they are cheaper.
Allegedly the 4070 Ti Super is only 3% better than the standard 4070 Ti.

$1499 for the 4070 Ti Super is steep when the 4080 is getting very close to that pricing.

I wouldn’t be getting the 4070 Ti Super now, just gonna wait for the 4080.

(Not having a dig at the Rep, just my 2 cents)

    • +3

      100%

4080s were on sale for $1499 last year. Why pay the same for worse? Prices should be coming down

      • +1

Nvidia doesn't need to drop the price when ppl buy this rehashed rubbish every year

      • they dont need to price drop though

they are making 30 billion dollars off their A.I chips..so can afford to just leave gaming card prices high and if they dont sell quick meh

        frankly it's down to AMD

there is rumours to 7900xt is getting another 100 dollar cut in Feb..and the xtx will go down to 800 USD

    • 4070ti super is 16gb though vs 12gb for 4070ti.

  • It seems like the biggest reason to buy from Nebula is the 3 year warranty plus the quality control/stress testing. But if we don't purchase a Windows license, do we still get 3D Mark results saved somewhere? Or do we miss out on the testing? I'd like to go with Nebula because I want to make sure I'm getting something that has been thoroughly tested, but I don't want to purchase a Windows license as I already have one…

    • +1

Yes, all testing remains the same - nothing gets despatched without our thorough testing.

You can still use your existing license.

      • Thanks for confirming. I'll probably place an order with you in the next couple of weeks.

        • Cheers legend!

      • @Nebula PC
Is it surprising/concerning that mine arrived with 3DMark installed, but no indication any test had been run?
There was a file on the desktop called 3DMark Firestrike results, but when I open it it just opens 3D Mark and there is nothing listed under the Results tab if I click that.
Probably just user error as I've never done benchmarking, but thought I should just ask. :-)

        • That's incorrect, you just need to click on it again once 3DMark is open and you will see your test results with all temperatures and FPS information. The test has 110% been run, they do not leave our workshop until they pass a suitable test score. It's just a software bug.

          • @Nebula PC: Ah, that does it!
How incredibly unintuitive by 3D Mark. Haha.
            Appreciate it!

        • @Balthraka

Tagging you in case you don't get a notification from our reply :).

  • -1

    ETA on these being shipped?

    • 7-10 business days from order date currently :).

  • +3

$2400 build with $1000 build mobo, memory, storage and psu.
The difference between what is offered and what is expected in this type of build is not much, as an example using listed prices from PCPP

A620 to various B650m choices with better specs ~$30
PNY 16gb 5200 to Gskill neo 32gb cl30 ~$70, This is the most egregious, that PNY memory is actively bottlenecking the system.
    1tb discontinued gigabyte gen 3 vs 1tb gen 4 $10 or 2tb $70
    Bronze… noname 750w psu… in a $2400 build… cmon now, any decent gold 750w or bronze 850w, $40

At best you're actively looking to upsell, and hey thats fine, everyone wants a bigger slice of the pie.
At worst you're exploiting people who dont know better and these are budget orientated builds, those people arent going to go out and swap components.
So just add in the better items, raise the price by $210, throw on an extra $90 ontop fo fun.
Rather see honest builds that cost 10% more for infinitely better satisfaction.

  • Any Intel systems available? Very few configurations it seems and all motherboards sold out…

    • No Intel, can whip up a custom rig for you though. Our Intel demand and buy volume isn’t high enough for a deal.

  • How long is this Azura deal going to be going?

    • Until we sell out :).
