        In regards to where you can get discounted eBay gift cards, there are not a lot of options. The best bet is to check the OzBargain discounted gift card wiki (and I think you will quickly see that there are not a lot of options these days).

      Unfortunately this is a points offer for Flybuys members and you can't just pay 10% less.
      You would have to join Flybuys to get the discount in points.
      You can redeem the points for shopping at Coles supermarkets, Coles Express petrol stations (fuel & supermarket items) or the Rewards Store online.
      You can't use the points to buy gift cards at Coles or Coles Express.

But from what I've read in the forums, these Ultimate cards are basically debit cards and the OW site doesn't allow split payments?? Will it work if I chose to "exchange" these cards for OW gift cards and use those instead?? Any help appreciated.

      It depends on how you are purchasing from Officeworks.

      • Instore: yes, as long as staff member knows how to do split payments across multiple Visa cards (and they also let you do that, which they should).

      • Online: you cannot redeem more than one Ultimate gift card in one transaction. You should be able to redeem an Officeworks gift card (or Coles Group & Myer gift card) in the same transaction as one Ultimate gift card, but I have no idea whether you can redeem multiple Officeworks gift cards (or multiple Coles Group & Myer gift cards) in the same transaction.

      • Over the phone: you can only redeem one Ultimate gift card in one transaction. You also cannot redeem an Officeworks gift card or Coles Group & Myer gift card over the phone.

      No.

      • According to the Ultimate gift card website, the Ultimate gift card exchange portal does not feature Officeworks.

      • It is against Officeworks’ gift card policy to use an Ultimate gift card to purchase an Officeworks gift card (or Coles Group & Myer gift card) at Officeworks. It is something that should have been blocked in Officeworks’ instore checkout systems in June 2023, plus it should also be blocked for online and over-the-phone transactions..

    * The ultimate gift card can be redeemed once per booking?
    If yes, any remaining balance can I use in other store or only at hotels.com?

      @atapajosj On the Ultimate gift card website, you convert the amount you require for hotels.com. The remaining balance on the Ultimate card can be used anywhere listed on the card multiple times up to your balance limit

            @HamBoi69: All good. Only way to verify is purchase one variable load i can say. Team members are also not confident there. No one knows what they are offering honestly.

              @game2021: Yeah I was told the same thing…the catalogue says all cards but the store staff said no only what’s shown. We tested it but it does not show the bonus points so hard to know if it worked. I just got the $50 Everyone card instead but notice there is no bonus points on my receipt either.

              @game2021: Yeah, because I'm only going off what the catalogue image says. It doesn't specifically mention what card types are included, but also doesn't mention what isn't. That's why as it mentions the Ultimate Home and Teens card, I found it odd that they'd advertise them but not include them.

                With Woolworths it comes into receipt and you can see straight into your rewards account.

                  In reality, Flybuys points earned on purchases of third-party gift cards are usually credited to your Flybuys account around 5pm Sydney/Melbourne time on the day after the transaction. However, there are some instances where Flybuys points will not be credited until two or three days after the transaction. This is not common, but can happen from time to time.

      I wouldn't trust what Coles staff have to say. They're wrong more often than they're right when it comes to these gift card promotions.

      Here's how I know all Ultimate gift cards are included:

      • If you set your Coles app to In Store and search 'Ultimate Gift Card', it will show a Flybuys icon next to all gift cards in the Ultimate range – including variable load – indicating that they're all in the promotion.

      • Coles always only shows five or six cards in the catalogue even when many more are included. They'll also always specifically mention it if variable load cards are excluded (e.g. here and here).

      • If the variable load cards were not included, it would not be possible to reach the 50,000 Flybuys points limit imposed by this promotion. The only way to earn that many points is to buy five variable cards each loaded with $500.

      • When they ran this promotion last year (albeit with a limit of 10,000 points), I earned 20x points on the $500 variable load card I purchased despite it not being pictured.

        I agree thet they tend to be wrong more than right but the catalogue wording is pretty vague too…I did do as you suggested and yes I see more cards with the flybuys logo but interestingly there is a different picture for the variable load everyone card..lol…

        I am not fussed either way…I need more but I can wait as it is not the end of the word if I don’t get them…

        I'm convinced of this. I could see the Flybuys logo on the app, whereas other gift cards like TCN don't have one. I decided to go for it. Took 3 x $500 Birthday gift card. We'll let you know if I receive the points. Hopefully I will :D

    This 5 cards are only shown on poster at store. On top of that they have mentioned any denomination card but not mentioned variable load card in T&C anywhere. So pretty much carefully chosen wording it is to make people purchase variable load cards.
