  • ATL is 208 btw

      ATL

      ??

      • -1

All time low hahaha, not feeling like typing at this hour

    • +1

I believe that was for the 3000Pa model

      • Think it is 4000 instead, someone ask the shop rep in that post

        • +1

They said upgraded to 4000pa, I have it but no way to tell.

  • +2

When are they going to make a square one of these that can clean the bloody corners?

  • +5

SL60 has two front brushes > SL61 has a single front brush and 10 minutes additional running time. SL60 for the win.

  • +3

Talked to Lubluelu eBay store during the last Amazon deal about the auto-emptying dock , and they said there will a new improved version of the dock coming out in March .

    • Legend

    • Current one works great, I wonder how they intend to improve it?

        • I've had mine for some time now, bag is barely a quarter full.

      • +3

        Bagless I hope

      • +2

step 1: make it work with the larger dust-only bin.

which reminds me, haven't heard a peep from lubluelu about my order for the past month

        • That's a good point.

I ordered stuff off them last weekend, arrived by Wednesday.

    • I have the vacuum from black friday sales I use downstairs but I want one upstairs now. Any word on what the update would be? I'd love an empty station to go downstairs

      • but I want one upstairs now

I just take it upstairs but 1 charge not enough for both.

        • 1 charge not enough upstairs. Thought I could get a auto empty downstairs and put the charger upstairs

          • @Papag:

            1 charge not enough upstairs

You must have a large upstairs.

            • @superforever: Less so to big upstairs, more so dirty and dog hair so needs multiple runs. If there was a charge or empty station, no worries

              • @Papag: I just did my upstairs with around 80% battery and finished at like 20%, no pets here so no multiple runs.

I also set it to standard instead of strong by default for carpet.

                • @superforever: Yeah I keep mine to strong because of the dog hair

      • No word from Lubluelu about any details as to the updated auto-empty dock .
I asked about stock availability of the existing old model that was listed on eBay , and was only told that an updated version was incoming In March.
        I
Personally I would like to get the bigger volume dust bin and a auto dock that works properly and charges all in one go , so I can give it to my not very tech savvy older parents and set it up and get it working properly ? I don’t believe the mop function would get any long term use besides the novelty factor in the beginning .

maybe if their agent is correct about a new dock it will be an improvement worth getting .
Who knows until it hits and feedback about it comes in .

  • Ordered and shipped within 30 minutes of ordering

  • Unlikely the sl60 is 4000 pa as it comes labelled 3000pa on the box

    • That’s the 2022 version, it was updated in 2023 to 4000. I got one about a month ago and the box wass definitely 4000

      • What model you bought? SL60D not 61?

        • Yep, SL60D ‘2023’

          • @noisymime: Where did you buy it?

            • @superforever: From the official Lubluelu eBay store.

              • @noisymime: So they did update the label to 4000pa from their store, from Amazon still said 3000pa

                • @superforever: Yep, it was definitely updated. This was quite recently though, I think I ordered it late January, and it was directly through them. Amazon might still be shifting old stock?

                  • @noisymime: I received confirmation from them said it is 4000pa from Amazon but they just can't update the stock from Amazon and the page.

But anyway no way to tell.

                  • @noisymime: Did yours have a label stating 4000? I got one late Feb and no indication on the box whatsoever.

  • Got 2 thanks. Have 3 now.

  • Here's the link to the SD80 (Auto empty station): https://lubluelu.com/products/lubluelu-auto-empty-station-fo…

If you sign up before purchasing, you get 20% off.
You can also try to couple that 20% off with "Save 20% with code: 20offsd80" - a specific code for this model.

    Good luck.

    • No AU version

      • Correct. Plug is hardwired into the back so you'll need an adapter if you get an international version.

        • Just buy a $10 plug head from Bunnings and cut the head off. If you can term the difference between red and black you'll find it easy

  • Already ordered but does this come with an AU plug?

  • Bought the 3000 one later last year and it works fine. Good deal for the 4000 version at the same price. Recommend at this price. Very good price compared to the selling price on alibaba in China even we need pay for delivery and get etc.

  • Got one from the last amazon deal. It said 3000 on the box. Is it worth returning and getting the 4000

      • Good point

    • Is it worth returning and getting the 4000

Message them, they will tell you it is 4000 and they couldn't update the Amazon listing.

You should also see the label on the box with the word "New", so I assume it is 4000pa which they told me.

      You couldn't tell anyway.

      • Cheers for that. I'll just keep it then

  • does anyone have any tips for getting it dock (auto empty station) properly? i've tried resetting the maps multiple times and the only time it even did successfully it's first few attempts. but since having moved the dock it's having a lot of difficulty.

    • Finding the dock is its greatest weakness, I think its just a software bug as it can find rooms to clean without an issue.

I had some initial issues due to the first area it looked for the dock being blocked by a box, since moving it it does find the dock… but it takes a while, sort of like its trying to find something while blind.

      • yeah mine knows where it is but seems to kinda "give up" when docking.

        • +1

I have exactly the same issue on one of my two emptying station docks. About 1 in 3 times it simply fails to properly dock. It finds the dock, then attempts docking five times, giving up after that. Just nudging it forward onto the dock terminals with your foot is enough to re-dock it successfully, but it's a PITA, the whole point of the emptying station is to work unattended for long periods.

The problem dock is on a hard wooden floor, while upstairs I have a second unit on carpet that docks successfully every time. I'll have to do some tests to determine if its a hardware or environment issue.

          • @ayoole: it's likely slipping on the floor. the vac backs into the dock with a bit of pent up rage for some reason

          • @ayoole: Sounds the same for me. It seems like people like the vacuum itself but fail to comment on whether it can complete the job and dock by itself.

But I’ll put up with it as it still saves me time.

Maybe sending support an email might help them focus on fixing this via a software update as it has the instruments to dock properly it’s just the algorithm is shit

            • @nicolascage: FWIW mine docks fine. it does spin around and look a bit lost for a bit when it gets near the dock, but it has always docked properly (so far)

I've actually got my dock in a corner of the room, despite the provided instructions asking for space all around the dock.

Note to any new users - do NOT place your dock at an angle in a corner of the room, make sure the rear of the dock is parallel to the wall. An angled dock results in an angled map of your room, which in turn results in angled robot travel lines (ie. diagonally instead of nice and parallel to the room walls (assuming your walls are perpendicular to the adjoining walls of course)

              • @andresampras: My included charging dock so far so good, don't have the auto empty dock.

                • @superforever: ah yeah good point, I'm using the auto-empty dock. The supplied dock is sitting in the box.

Wish it could handle multiple docks in different locations.

    • Idk about the empty dock, but when I got the vacuum I read reviews that said it can struggle if when it docks, it moves the dock. So I taped mine to the floor and it works fine (charge, not empty dock)

  • Thanks mate, grabbed the D

  • Can it cross minor heights?
There is sort of wooden base of the door frame at the entrance of every room in my home.

    • +1

Yes, I got one recently and it was able to go on slopes and gaps between the floor. It sometimes get hesitant to go over at it has some sensor to prevent it going down the stairs.

    • +1

It's quite good, I have some hefty rugs that it has no issue with. My parent's one is able to climb over the rails of their back screen door, so they have to close the door when they're using it or it heads out to their back patio.

  • been working nicely, their support team is quite responsive and helpful as well.

how is everyone working with the mop? since it returns back to charge with a wet mop and sometimes still has water in the tank which drips slowly.

    • I think the Roborocks had a plastic mat that attached to the docking station to prevent water going onto the floor once parked. I'd be cautious of leaving the vacuum with a wet nappy and tank of water if you've got wooden floors.

    • +1

After a mop I'd empty the tank as best as possible and remove the detachable mop unit to wash the cloth. When the robot has the mop unit attached, it always defaults to a mop and sweep operation even though there's no water and the cloth is dry so I keep it removed to default it to a sweep operation.

  • When is the next Amazon deal (4000pa) as I’ve got lots of Amazon gift balance?

  • When I click on details of the “cheaper SL60” linked above, it has the exact same description as SL60D, including the line “Package contents: SL60D”. What’s the deal with that?

  • FYI .. Amazon has this for $235.99 after discounts …

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0C1P2L2GB/

    • Seems to be the 3000pa model. There's a different item showing '4000pa' which doesn't have the extra 'Save 8% at checkout'.

      • Seems to be the 3000pa model

Message them, they confirmed it is also the 4000pa, just having issue updating on Amazon.

'4000pa' which doesn't have the extra 'Save 8% at checkout'.

That one is model 61, not the same.

      • from a previous thread … https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/828397#comment-14892726

but otherwise just type in sl60d into the search box up top and there's heaps of comments about how people received a 4000 model and not the 3000 version.

        and anyway … if it is a 3000 version .. it's Amazon .. send it back! :)

    • Can I ask how you got it down to $235.99? Mine shows $549.99, apply $270 coupon and then 8% off still works out more than $250.

      • eBay with eBay plus or Amazon I got this

        Order Summary
        Items: $549.99
        Delivery: $0.00
        Total: $549.99
        Promotion(s) Applied: -$314.00
        Order Total: $235.99

        • White one has 10% off so an extra $11 cheaper

          • @pingponged: I bought it from the last Amazon deal for around $200 after cash rewards.

  • I see, thank you for correcting me! Didn't see that. I'll grab one from Amazon then.

    • Hi, the Amazon SL60D seems to be 3000pa instead of 4000pa here? Thanks

      • Amazon SL60D seems to be 3000pa instead of 4000pa here?

From last Amazon deal, I received confirmation from the seller, they are 4000pa, just for some reason they couldn't update the site.

BTW, normally for non carpet, I don't need to use the max just eco anyway, even carpet it will turn it down to normal, I don't have pet.

        • Right, thanks. I'm interested but seems a few ppl complained the docking feature doesn't work as good. Will read up some more. W

          • @Bargain-er:

complained the docking feature doesn't work as good.

I have no problem so far even I moved it upstairs downstairs, it still found the dock but I am talking about the included charging dock, I think people are talking about the auto empty one.

Also heard that the seller said will have a new upgraded auto empty station next month.

  • Can anyone give a review on how this compares to a roborock/dreame/ecovacs? not expecting it to be equal with a $2000 robot vac but the feature gaps that one might be happy to compromise

    • +1

not expecting it to be equal with a $2000 robot

      Enough to buy 10 x SL60D 😊

Vacuum cleaning is very good, mop may not as good as the expensive one, it is a very basic mop.

  • Just wondering anybody bought from their eBay store, did you get the label with 4000pa printed on it? Or still 3000pa?

  • It shows $287.20. Am I missing something or it is over now?

    • eBay deal expired, try Amazon.

  • Anyone getting $225 on Amazon for the white SL60D?

  • +1

Amazon around $225 for the white now

    • +1

Thank you, ordered one now. For some reason, the price shown was still $279.99, but another $50 discount was added when checking out.

    • Please share link? Is that 4000pa ?
