    • Will be in Wodonga next week. Should be no problem if going to Albury (NSW) which is about 1 minute drive from Wodonga via Murray River.

      • Just grabbed 5 from Coles Albury earlier today and they still had a lot of cards

  • +1

FYI - 5 cards per day

    • +1

      I have 2 flybuys

      So 10 per day

      • +6

Only two? That's not like you. lol

        • +1

          I rarely go to coles.
Woolworths is my go to, offcourse only specials and the regular weekly multiple 2000 points for $40 spend

          • @easternculture: How many Everyday Rewards accounts, dare I ask?

            • +2

@rokufan: Well the active ones around 15 family accounts with over $6k in reward points now combined. Last round of free 2000points x 2 weeks boosted the total by $260

              • @easternculture: How much are you buying with all of these accounts? And how much time do you allocate to all of this points chasing?

              • +3

@easternculture: My one account has earned $3,060 since joining.

              • +1

You got that offer on 13 out 15 of your ER accounts, wow! Looks like I've found another use for all my Boost SIMs.

              • @easternculture: wouldn't it be better to transfer the EDR points to qantas . There is a limit of how much points you can have and im sure if you look in the forum you would get more then one cent per point . Happy to help

                • +1

@shane23: So you want to buy my points lol

                  • @easternculture: No I don't I wouldn't be able to afford that. Im still transferring over pocket money from Aldi. Haven't even started my ones from big W yet. I just figured you are collecting a lot of points its worth getting the most out of them .

                    • @shane23: Still have 1k pocket money.

But definetly stocking up with these to pay petrol

          • +3

@easternculture: somehow these 2000pts $40 spend offers have been drying up on my ww accounts (plural), and i follow standard of no promo no scan protocol.

          • @easternculture: Never seen that offer. Had a card I didn't touch for 10 years. Best I got was spend 1c get 1000 points (and points expire the next day)

        • +1

Probably 20 accounts banned, only 2 left.

          • @Neoika: Nah, had one, then made another because of these deals so i can do 2.5k per day

            • @easternculture: Hmm..I find woolies points too hard. Something like $30 worth a year. ..Yet Coles points flow easily.. Already in the hundreds this year..spends the same at each…must be missing something.

              • @tunzafun001: Exactly the same here. Nothing from Woolies.

It's sad, as woolies get the majority spend, for no points and Coles has minimal spend for heaps of points! Work that out!

          • +1

@Neoika: What triggered the ban of so many of your accounts?

      • You won’t find ten per day mate lol

      • If you can find 10.

    • There'll be people paying full price.

    • +44

Last time I purchased cards hidden in the freezer they didn't work. I rang the helpline and they said the cards had been frozen.

  • +2

      Sep 2024

      • I feel like they've been made much more infrequent recently, do we have any intel on why?

  • +3

Hide yo kids hide yo cards

    • The batches for the sale are yet to be dispatched.

      • -2
      • Are you suggesting that if you were to hide a card now and purchase it when it starts, that card wouldn't get the discount?

        • Nope. Last time i hid 10 cards 5 days before promo, they worked fine with discount

        • +2

Ii have seen couple (male and female) in their 70 or more taking almost 50 cards in their bag home without scanning… ! Not sure if they still alive but there are those everywhere…. !

          • -1

@SydBoy: What did they look like?

            • +2

@JIMB0: I intentionally didn't put their race otherwise I will be bombarded with negging and my freedom of speech might be punished with ban ….! But they were definitely not born in Australia same as me 😁

However, I said this in past without ban … If you really need this card then drive to wealthy northern suburbs of Sydney… As chance of getting this in south or west or northwest is like winning lotto….😁

              • +3

@SydBoy: Did they happen to be speaking a language that has the same name as a citrus fruit?

                • +3

                  @JIMB0: I liked your intelligence… ! Hope you got the answer!!! 😁

                • +2

@JIMB0: Hey I speak Lemon and I’m offended

          • +1

@SydBoy: Lol if this is what I'm up against I'm not liking my chances

            • +1

@OZBMate8911: Well, easy solution is to drive to wealthy suburbs in Sydney so north Sydney, manly and all those Suburbs where you hardly see any migrants 😁

              • @SydBoy: Manly( NSW) is no good.
Too many day trippers on ferries/ buses.

          • @SydBoy: They are pretty savvy for 70yo's. lol

    • +2

My Coles keeps all the discount gift card ats the customer service.

  • -4

I have a large hoard from the last one still to be purchased.

  • +1

u can use these to pay ATO ?

    • +4

It should be fine. I have never heard of InComm (the gift card scheme owner) blocking payments at the ATO on Vanilla Visa gift cards.

If it still works, keep in mind you should be surcharged at the Visa – Domestic Debit rate (0.4%), which is higher than the Mastercard – Domestic Debit rate incurred on Coles Mastercard gift cards or Vanilla Mastercard gift cards (0.2%).

      • Thank you for confirming

      • Ato accepts split payments for income tax/bas etc using giftcards?

  • +1

    Why no QLD?

  • No love for QLD?

  • Can you still use Sniip to pay bills with these?

    • +3

Yup, also works on Deft and from memory PayPal too.
      Can pay on Auspost Billpay

      • Can you use snipp to pay cc bills?

        • +2

No usually these billers are banned from snipp

      • Does sniip charge fees on deft? Zip just banned me from paying deft.. apparently it is considered as cash transfer??

        • My DEFT biller doesn't work on any payment websites including sniip

          • @abs898: Crazy idea, but what about from… deft?

            Make a one-off card payment

            • @CodeXD: To make any payment from DEFT, you need their reference code. It's a close system, you can't make just any payment, they need to be registered with deft. It's almost like bpay

  • Thanks OP.

  • Yaiy is this really back?

  • +3

    cry from SA :(
