Refurb Apple Ultra watch. Great price. Not sure if its series 1 or 2 as the description has 64GB which indicates its series 2 however there is no mention of it being a series 2. Worth a try even for series 1 it's a great deal.

Recently purchased an Apple Watch SE Gen 2 40mm from them. Got it, but device was just a bit small for my wrist, so returned and got refunded prompted after received return.

Device seemed basically unused, and battery health was 100%

For Phone, GreenGadgets are my go to.

    • great to hear you had a good experience. Hope I have the same

I bought once a refurbished phone from GreenGadgets (via ebay). It failed very soon after purchase and I brought it to Apple - they said it was waterdamaged and can't repair. GreenGadgets refused any warranty as I brought it to Apple (and as they opened the phone).

For Phone and any other device … I avoid GreenGadgets and would not recommend.

I mean. I can see both sides of the picture..

If it failed so soon after purchase (Assuming within 12 months warranty, maybe even 30 days), why take the externally refurbished device to Apple before contacting the company refurbishing/ seller first. Especially when they proudly offer and display their 12 month warranty (Which I have used multiple times over the last 3~ years from memory(8-12 months battery, with one being very poor from start, out of 15+ devices))

In saying all this, I never contacted Apple for any of them and have been overly satisfied if their response time and service.

      • I just received my iPhone 12 from the greengadgets deal the other day and sent it back straight away, the screen was lose in the body and all the ports were full of dirt and who knows what else, even had a little hair still stuck in the frame.

  • Be careful, feedback for this item says that they’ve been receiving a white band, not the black band as pictured

Do you smell burning toast? Might wanna get checked out.

Had good experience with Loop refurbs in the past. Picked up an iPhone 8 that looked brand new with 97% battery health for well under $200 a few years ago.

The Apple Watch Ultra is an awesome watch, still loving my launch-day Ultra 1.

Good deal - but went with a series 7 for significantly less (~$272) thanks to this post.

    • That’s a crazy deal. I am rocking my stainless s7 absolutely happy with it and the battery is good. I would say practically in the deal the aluminium is even better as it’s is much lighter making a huge difference if you wear it to gym. Btw never used the cellar function despite I thought I would.

    • Could you please link the series 7 post please?

      • +3

Click on the seller to the sellers’ home page then find/search Apple Watch, how hard is that?

    • I just did the same. My first apple watch, so keen to see how much value it adds to my life.

    • I got a series 6 stainless steel for about that on eBay, in great condition. The big one in cellular and Milanese loop band. Bargain, and suits my fat wrists well.

  • +2

It looks like it comes with OEM or fake fast usb-c charger and band, you will need another 200 to get the Apple ones.

    • +2

Correct. When you sell to them/trade in they dont accept bands for hygenic reasons

      • Far out, wouldn’t think it’s hard for them to wash a plastic band.

  • Out of STOCK :( I'm devastated… any other Ultra deals close to this?

  • Bought one of these a while back. Ok until I jumped in the pool and then it died. Got a full refund with no problem, but not what you'd expect from a diveable watch. Their warranty doesn't cover water damage BEWARE.

    • +1

      Salt water pool?

      • Chlorine pool. I don't think that was the issue. Bought a new one from the Apple store and no issue. Obviously it wasnt sealed correctly.

        • Did you buy a refurb unit, which they might opened up perhaps to replace battery/screen and did not reseal to Apple standard?
I guess there's a risk buying non authorised Apple refurb items where they don't have the factory training/tool to open then reseal correctly.

    • Years ago Apple showed in their keynote someone surfing with the regular Apple Watch on. And even the gen 1, Tim Cook claims he wore it in the shower when it was being developed. Jumping in a pool should have been no problem for the Ultra.

      • I have been wearing non ultra Apple Watch since 2018, goes to sunna and steam in the gym every fortnightly, swim and snorkelling in the sea a few times every summer. Series 4,6 and now 7, none of them had water damage.

    • Snorkelled for hours up in Cairns with this watch, no problemo. Plenty of times in swimming pools (chlorine water), also no problemo.

  • already out of stock .

most refurb ultra retrieved from deceased hikers, polished and washed looks good again

    • Actually you wouldn't know if any wearable device was sent in by the deceased next of kin come to think of it…

      • Well if you died wearing it, it would probably be locked to your Apple ID (or Apple Account I think it's called now), so it would be locked and you wouldn't be able to sell it, not a platform that lets you get a refund if it's still locked anyway.

  • I bought a "Good" condition refurb Ultra from these guys expecting scratches and 80% battery.
It arrived pristine with 100% battery health.
Don't know if I got lucky but have been stoked with the cost saving

    • Definately got lucky in my experience. I got a Series 7 - listed as 'As New'. 2 bad chips in the body and lights scratches on the screen. 89% battery which isnt too bad. Crap 3rd party charger and band. I mean you get what you pay for i suppose but the misleading with the 'As New' claim.

In the end its a massive (and sometimes expensive) lucky dip.

      • Yikes, "As New" I would've expected 0 chips or obvious scratches.

I ordered a Series 7 As New, hoping I have a different experience.

        • +1

Me too. I will post here when it arrives, hopefully before the weekend.

        • OK. Got mine today (As new refurbished) - it has 100% battery. Came with generic charger as expected, otherwise excellent. A couple of very light dot's on the case (back side) so you can't see them when wearing it.

          • @Thiefsie: Thanks for the report! Mine - not as lucky 84% :( But that's still OK. Would've hoped for better. No scratches I can see. Got a white band though instead of black.

  • Snag a series 6 stainless steel cellular for $247, not bad. Hoping the condition is ok (it is listed as very good refurbished).

  • Can anyone confirm if it is a Ultra 2 or 1. The listing is all over the place but the 64GB tells me that it is Ultra 2. But then again, the listing is all over the place

    $670 for a refurb?

oh just realisled its a ULTRA Max Plus Sigma Wolf model.

  • just got mine, it's got some sign of wear but overall not noticeable if you are not looking at it really close

  • I just got mine as well. At first sight, I thought it had a small crack on the bottom of the screen. Turns out it's some kind of cleaning detergent residue (or dirt maybe). Other than that, the case condition is pretty new with no scratches.

    • Gen 1 or 2

      • +1

its all sold out. Mine is 32GB so assume it's gen 1

  • Thanks - bought series 7 with an excelent condition, and they delivered it in a day. The watch has no scratches or any other marks whatsoever. The battery capacity is 100%. The watch looks completely new, you can't tell a difference so very happy with the purchase.
The only issue is the slow charging, not sure if i can blame it on the cable/connector it came with. The wall brick in the box is only 5W and i used a different one with higher wattage (15W) but still the watch is charging so slow so i think i need to change the cable/connector? Anyone experienced the same and what they did (like bought a new connector and from where, please share link to it).

    • Hmm lines up with what I've got with mine. I plugged the cord/induction charger into a high wattage USB charger and it didn't work. The supplied wall plug is only 5A IIRC.

Might have to buy a higher grade induction charger setup if we want better performance?

    • +1

You should buy a usbc Apple Watch fast charger(cable) from Apple for $49. It can charge from 0 to 80% in 45 mins. There are very few third part charger can do it that fast.

  • Heads up, its is back at that price. I just got one

    • Ditto, just picked one up too.

    • Also got one today will report back once received

    • I just received it. 100% battery capacity, and it looks brand new. Strap looks used and comes with a cheap knockoff charger. Happy with the purchase.

  • I asked Loop Mobile customer service if during the refurbishment process the watch is not water and dust resistant after their response was… vague:

Through the refurbishing process, the devices are completely renewed again, whereby the technical condition is similar to a new device. However, in the course of the renewal process, the IP54 or IP67 certification (water- and dustproof) can no longer be guaranteed and is therefore excluded from the warranty conditions.

Seems like a deal breaker as the watch isn’t so “ultra” anymore. I will be reconsidering my purchase unless someone else has used the watch in water without issue?

    • the IP54 or IP67 certification (water- and dustproof) can no longer be guaranteed and is therefore excluded from the warranty conditions

Even if one buyer replies no issue in water, it's still pot luck and you have no recourse due to that clause…better off paying a bit more for Apple store certified refurbs if you plan to use in water.

  • Anyone else purchased one? They were up today for $615 with the coupon code
