Back with more AliExpress coupons and this time it's a mega post with codes that should apply on pretty much everything. While the discounts are the same as the current Choice Sale these are valid for the entire month of November. Please be aware that AliExpress may decide to pull these codes at any time.

If you're a new AliExpress user you won't be able to apply coupons until sometime after your first order as a "Welcome Offer" is applied automatically. Some people may have trouble redeeming the codes due to a message around "security concerns". I've yet to figure out why this happens.

Coupons are 1 per account, don't stack with new user discounts, may not stack with some Superdeal/Big Save promotions and the minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

  • Is Ali is better than Temu?

    • +13

They're quite different. If you want the generic unbranded stuff Temu is good. If you want branded stuff, or overall a better selection of higher quality products AliExpress is good.

      • +11

On top of that, if you want to spin wheels, play mind numbing games, and generally have you dopamine spiked into a shopping addiction, choose Temu.

If you want a more traditional online shopping experience, choose AliExpress.

AliExpress still has a lot of gamification and marketing, but not to the invasive, excessive level of Temu.

        • +2

Temu can be manipulated to give you more back.

Daily Deal for a 1c offer if you want to buy stuff and if they keep giving bad daily deals don't check it for a couple of days and you'll get more gifts. Searching "claimcredit" can get you $30-$50 credit back on an order over $50 that you claim over 7 days

Then you do price adjustments for the next few weeks.

      • Still not sure about their sd cards or powerbank tech, so cheap

      • Strange, my 1st time AliExpress experience was bad, maybe deceptive ad is NOT ok? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15972862/redir

    • +1

I don't know if I'm doing something incorrectly or not, but I have never been able to browse Temu. It only seems to let you browse after you create an account? So I have no idea what the range and price of items they have.

    • +3

Temu has a $45 minimum for free postage. Given we often look to Ali/Temu for cheaper items, I've found this a pretty hefty hurdle. Ali also has improved its delivery frames significantly.

And as others have said, at least with Ali you can open the app and start doing what you're doing, rather than being forced to play or close the pop ups (though on the browser, it's less or an issue). There are also a lot of very misleading promotions on Temu once you play the games - a mistake you only tend to make once!

  • +15

Thanks. AE has lifted their game in respect to postage times and service, probably my 1st destination before ebay or temu depending on what I want to buy.

    • When have you first notice this just wondering?

      • +1

Not sure TBH but this time last year 5 weeks was a typical time frame. I suppose it was probably to counter Temu.

      • +1

Since introducing choice and consolidated shipping

        • I only started using them again this year without ordering since 2021. Can't recall when choice came in

          • +1

@neonlight: It happened shortly after temu popularity happened. Temu was newer, faster and cheaper with all their coupon deals. Good for us. Ali is more reliable with the reviews and ratings.

    ali is great

      • Fees like a butterfly,
        shit like a bee,
now you ship, now you don't,
you say you will but I know you won't.

  • +17

I use AE more than eBay these days. Quicker postage and better service

    • +3

I agree, AliExpress have really lifted there game, fast shipping, massive variety of products and great prices.

      • +1

I only use eBay for specific sellers, like The Good Guys and 4WD Supacentre. I suspect eBay will shutdown in the next few years…

      • +1

And fast problem resolution. I usually get a decision made to my issues in less than 3 hours. Have complained about quality of some items where i would be happy to just be refunded half of the price paid, but they just refund the whole thing, no questions asked. This makes me feel very safe when buying things

      • They used to be really slow. Do you recall when they started improving?

        • +2

Their shipping has been good for quite a while as long as you buy from Choice stores with 10 day or 14 day delivery guarantee.

        • Oldest order with improved shipping that I had is dated 25th March 2022. The delivery times have been getting better since too.

    • +1

A lot of ebay stores are just dropshipping from Ali anyway.

  • +2

Running out of junk to buy on Ali.
Any suggestion for novelty/gift/funsie/toys to buy?
Junk I bought so far this year
    -Engraved keyrings
    -Car key cover
    -Screen protector
    -more LED
    -reflective elastic shoelaces
    -metal puzzles
    -watch bands

  • +5

While these are great for small amounts I'm going to hang back until Singles Day for big purchases. Shouldn't be too long now until we see something.

    • Ohhh thx m8, almost bit the bullet on the AJAZZ AKP846 but will wait till 11 Nov.

  • Bought a Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro 256GB 8GB for $401 after $30 promo code and 5.5% topcashback.

  • +1

If you get the warning message around "security concerns" just refresh the checkout page, seems to work for me

  • I cannot collect coins by visiting website anymore, only app and scan QR code which I don't use. Current coins value is over $AU30. Anyone same?

    • Yep. Time to get the app.

    • +1

You generally make more in coins from ordering than you can spend on orders… so no real need to "collect" coins.

      • It was kind of a mini game when logged in. Oh well, 30 bucks more than plenty.

  • +1

do you think I should wait for black Friday sales or is this better?

    • I have a $300 usd wish list and I'm thinking the same…do I wait for the black Friday or pull the trigger now?

      • +1

black friday won't make it before Christmas possibly? if that's your aim.

      • +2

        You could wait for 11/11

  • Cheers OP! 🍻

  • I used to use Aliexpress quite a bit but now all I get is Captcha crap and "We need to check if you are a robot."
Back to Fleabay for all my junk purchases.

    • Are you using a VPN or any kind of plugin that hides your location, blocks cookies or similar? AliExpress are iffy about locations as they have regional websites.

      • No vpn, but my browser has security for tracking and other such things. It has only started recently, my browser has not changed so they have changed the site.
No big deal I will just use another site, I am not bending over backwards to give them my money. :)

        • Just be aware this will impact cashback tracking too.

    • Are you sure you are using the main AliExpress.com site? You may get different experiences if you use vi.ali or ru.ali etc.

      • Does the same thing on the ones you mentioned, but thanks for the tip.

  • +1

I can browse the "3 from US $2.99" deals for hours.

  • +1

Goodness me! my junk orders shipped by AE selection standard delivery by Fast Horse Express which is neither Horse, nor fast or Express but can't deliver to the right address. Gesees. AE should stop to use that Slow Donkey courier in Aus.

Buy from Aliexpress asap. Trump will put 60% tariff on China, it will affect us as well.

    • We're not america mate. Their tariffs have no impact.

      • -2

That's what you think. Aliexpress charge is US dollars if you want good rates on your credit card not via PayPal. Their tariffs will impact prices on goods. Can't believe people who don't get it. Bring on Jan 2025 we will see

        • The tariffs are paid by the importer and not the sellers, or on this case AliExpress. Even Trump himself doesn't understand how tariffs work. There's the potential for us to get everything cheaper as they'll be forced to send it elsewhere instead of the US.

Let's hope it's one of the thousand promises he hasn't kept.

          • @Clear: Why voters believe him, ~ 50% ?

        • Do you lack an understanding of tariffs? US tariffs are an additional tax on imports paid by AMERICANS. As I said previously, we are not the USA.

Separately, on the topic of prices on AliExpress - USD shows up 3% cheaper than AUD for me, which is pretty much exactly the charge that my credit card adds to the exchange rate. And the Coles card has no international transaction fee.

  • All these codes say they're for single use only.

  • Any idea why I'm getting these codes are single use only error? Is it detecting use of shopback affiliate links?

  • +1

None of these codes work for me, I enter them at checkout, no error, no change in price. I collected them all from the home screen. Weird.

/edit - think it's because of a 'free shipping' promo this store has. Not sure how to remove that one, in favour of one of these codes.

    • Do you have a new account without orders?

  • Will cashback be rejected if we use these codes?

    • No

      • That was quick! Thanks

  • codes in this deal still worked for my order. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/876176

just in case someone for whatever reason can't get the codes in this deal to work, you can try the old ones that are listed on CR. most of you probably know because you see them as you click through CR but for anyone who missed them.

  • These are still working :

    $3 OFF over $24 : IFPHD2G
    $5 OFF over $39: IFPRDC4
    $12 OFF over $89: IFPZ3FH
    $30 OFF over $269 : IFPDI11

The coupons here all aren't working :

    US$10 / US$79
    US$15 / US$119
    US$30 / US$229
    US$50 / US$349
    US$60 / US$419

  • FYI massive delay with Aliexpress since 1st week of November. More than 2 weeks since then, items still not arrived. I ordered on 3rd Nov. With 11/11 sale I bet you guys would be lucky to get stuff before Xmas

Anything you order now would take 3-4 weeks despite under Choice

    • 2 out of my 8 orders from the 12th are in Australia already. The other 6 just left China this morning.

    • +1

yeah but always the case during Singles Day 11/11 sales. I ordered few days before 11/11 started and got my items in normal time (around 9 days after ordering).

  • getting This coupon code is for single use only and can't be used here what does this mean?

    • try one of these

      $3 OFF over $24 : IFPHD2G
      $5 OFF over $39: IFPRDC4
      $12 OFF over $89: IFPZ3FH
      $30 OFF over $269 : IFPDI11
