Logitech Driving Force Shifter for G29 and G920 Wheels $48 ($45.12 with eBay Plus) Delivered (Excl. NT) @ LogitechShop eBay

370
APRIL6

Excludes Northern Territory.

For those that picked up the Logitech wheel recently, the shifter has dropped in price as well.

Available via eBay or BIG W Marketplace, this price is a drop from the $55 sale currently at JB Hi-Fi, Amazon and $54 at Harvey Norman.

Price will go down to $45.12 with the eBay Plus code, and you can use bank gift cards for a further % discount (I managed to get it down to $43.77 with Macquarie Gift Cards).

Yes, it's not at ATL 2023 prices of $35 or $39, but what is nowadays…..

An even better response to a deal you have no interest in is to not comment at all. In any way. Just accept that this deal might not be for you, they they might work for someone else anyway. That's for the (at least) 8 downvotes that you'll receive when you post anyway.

It's the same for everyone. Don't think your comment is special.

i have this in a g29 setup but its bolted to a cheap ebay spec frame

you are faster with paddles of course but the shifter works good for when you just want to cruise and arent there to set lap times

i exclusive run GT7 and the g29 shifter setup is more FUN than paddles and that's what its all about

i wouldnt bother in a setup that isnt permanently setup - its just too fiddly

i also play GT7 just about every day

        • What ebay spec frame did you get? I'm looking into them now and it seems there are minimal distinctions between the cheaper ones.

@zoidee: Not sure if it helps but I looked at a whole bunch of eBay frames for my son when he was getting into gt7 and I ended up with this and I couldn't be happier:

It's a little bit more but REALLY solidly built and you can still fold it up and slide it out of the way when you need to. The eBay frames all seemed a bit insubstantial. Highly recommend.

Speak for yourself. I have a manual car IRL and it’s fun as hell playing with the H shifter in games.

I bind the shifter paddles to the handbrake for drifting, easier to find when the wheels upside down than binding a button on the wheel itself.

If I was racing a car that was meant to be DSG/PDK/Sequential I use the paddles then.

Why do I want a paddle shifted r33 skyline? Especially for drift with a lot of clutch use.

    • This is such an unnecessary comment, especially the aggressive comment at the end. There's plenty of people that enjoy using stick shift, and that's none of your concern.

Translation: In Australia, these are called 'Gear Sticks' for anyone that was wondering.

Thank you. I was confused about what this even was. I thought it might be a special toy for ladies. Your explanation makes more sense though.

  • Anyone got any recommendations for a seat that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg? I have one of the budget frames already, but need more comfortable seating for how much I play.

Marketplace. I picked up a gti seat for $50. It did require some fabrication to fit it to the frame

Get an actual car seat from your local wreckers.

  • Thanks op, bought one, wonder how long this one can last…

    • Ikr hate the proprietary connectors. I’m on my 3rd one now

  • Just picked up a G923 wheel for a bag of peanuts, but no pedals, any recommendations on where to get them? From what I see they're all sold as a kit

    • Facebook or maybe ask Logitech support would be my guess

  • I don't know why Logitech removed sequential shift mode from these later models. Maybe they found too fiddly or prone to breaking?

    • You can 3D print a mod to make it sequential if you want.
