With the AliExpress Cashback promotion still ongoing with Team OzBargain in the lead (nearing 6%), here's a surprise AliExpress sale that's currently not being advertised on the main platform and applicable in AUD or USD. In my testing these coupons will stack with most products and not all, i.e. this "Limited" Big Save is ineligible, while this "normal" Big Save is eligible. Try your luck!

This deal expires April 30th @ 5pm AEST. Please note that the coupons may be exhausted before this time. I recommend going to checkout with an expensive item like this and applying each coupon individually, as this often applies each to your account allowing them to be used after the supply has been exhausted. It doesn't always work.

Coupons exclude new users who have yet to make their first purchase to take advantage of the Welcome deal and the purchase of mobile phones. Coupon minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

Discount (AUD) Minimum Spend (AUD) Discount (USD) Minimum Spend (USD) Coupon Code
A$5 A$30 US$3 US$19 AFAU05
A$8 A$50 US$5 US$31 AFAU08
A$10 A$65 US$6 US$40 AFAU10
A$20 A$120 US$12 US$75 AFAU20
A$30 A$190 US$18 US$118 AFAU30
A$55 A$350 US$34 US$218 AFAU55
A$75 A$469 US$46 US$291 AFAU75

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

Of course I bought yesterday, between two sales. 🙄

    • You may have ended up with a better deal regardless as the Easter sale had discounted products across the site, while these are regular non-sale prices with codes available.

I.e. a mini PC I was looking at during the Easter sale was US$169 and currently it's US$179.

      • Would have been $20 cheaper, just checked. I thought I was so smart finally using coins correctly and stuff. Oh well! At least I added to the OzBargain points.

        • I bought a heap of stuff yesterday. As per usual, only the $10 coupon would work on a $200+ spend. Figured $10 & 16% via TCB will do.

Coupon codes don't work for bundle deals as well. Warning. Bundle deals seem to attract significant taxes, and can cost more than a non bundle "deal".

No idea what the coins are?

I also signed up for the ozb Cashback..but no idea how to access that either?

Disclaimer - desktop user - not the app

          • @tunzafun001: Coins can only be accessed via the app. The discounts for coins can vary depending on the item. The discount level fluctuates all the time and you can score signifcant discounts from time to time, so best to check the app daily to collect the coins.

For example, QCY T20 earbuds normally around $30. The cheapest I've ever seen it was $22 in the Bundle deals section. In the coins section, one time it allowed me to save 50% off using coins based on the regular non-bundle price. SO my QCY T20 ended up being around $15, and this was before the usual cashbacks provided after the purchase.

Alsofind that they regularly discount USB cables and phone cases up to 95% off. Yes 95%. So a phone case that normally costs $5 in the bundle deals. You buy 3 of em (to get the $15 free shipping) and final price you pay is less than $2 for 3x phone cases.

      • is the keylogger baked into the PCB of the mini PC for free when you purchase from AliExpress or does it cost extra?

        • The tinfoil hat has baked something else.

  • Great job as always.

With the team cashback, where does this get applied / paid out in credits?

    • +1

      After your order ships.

    • +1

You can view your Ali team cashback credits by clicking on Shopping credits in the Account tab of the app (scroll down a little). They get confirmed when your item ships (ie usually within a day or two), and then applied to your next purchase.

  • I have not used Aliexpress before… I was looking at the Soundcore Sleep A20 Sleep Earbuds

What are the odds that they are actually genuine?

    • I would say they are genuine check the reviews 99 sold and 4.9 stars with 2 Aussie reviews with photos they would be legit

  • Strange for me, this kind of code never work for me, it keep saying it's not enough order $ before shopping. But it's already $75 and yet can't even get $4 off

  • Anybody else have issues with multiple accounts? I think AliExpress doesn't like Nord VPN. New email, address, card and I still get error on checkout

    • VPNs will definitely cause issues.

      • Any suggestions? Proxy won't work either. I also have tried a privacy browser too

        • +1

I'd say just don't use them. The alternative is trying maybe mobile data over wifi.

  • It looks like No free return for Australian buyers now.

    • I was able to do a free return last week.

What I learnt from previous sale is that there are global coupon codes out there that can be used multiple times with different sets of minimum spend because I wasn't able to use the one posted here since they ran out in just few days without getting restocked.

There are some reddit threads that keep a list of global codes if people need those.

  • Does not combine with bundle deals purchases?

  • @Clear joined the ozbargain team, banner at the top shows it as 5724 points, needing 6k for the 6%? I guess with new subs or over time the points and therefore cashback goes down?

    • Don't quite get what you're saying. Cashback levels only go up and not down.

      • I belated realise I misread youir post, sorry for the confusion.

  • Thanks! Managed to pair this with an early bird deal I found on a crucial t500 1tb (sadly now expired), brought it down to USD $56.23 before cashbacks, should be ~$80AUD after topcashback 10%

    • Fairly sure topcashback doens't work if you use these codes

      • +1

100% sure all AE codes work with all cashback sites as long as the item is affiliated.

      • +1

TopCashback still works with codes, only time it doesn’t work is if it isn’t an affiliate product. I’ve used codes and gotten cash back a bunch of times

        • Alright, good to know. I know shopback tends to exclude it…

  • worked!!!

  • Is anyone else having issues with some items? I'm trying to use this with this CPU but I get "This coupon code can't be used in combination with other discounts" when I try to apply the code, even though there is no other special discounts listed?

    • Certain "Limited" sale Big Save products are excluded. The description talks about it.

  • Anyone encountered cainiao shipping delays with recent orders?

    • +1

Yup. Have 2 consignments which were waiting 1-1.5 weeks for a flight and then 2 weeks to fly to Australia…. according to the tracking details.
