Ive got the ozito too. Can it deflate as well?
you are the one who can answer this question.
Description says inflator/deflator YMMV
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-cordless-inflator-…
I got that one 2 weeks ago too, it does work pretty well. Thinking to piss off my xtm 12v tire inflator and just have this for beach trips with 2 batteries.
got the ozito on fbmp for $40
works great
Awesome piece of kit - use mine all the time to pump up bike tyres / pool toys / sports balls / car tyres / air mattress etc :)
Me too. It's great
@dangerdanger, me three, awesome kit
Does it have a presta adaprot built into the nozzle or do you need to screw an adaptor onto the presta valve on the bike ?
It comes with the presta adaptor (grey piece stored in the side - see pic below) which is screwed on to the valve:
https://media.bunnings.com.au/api/public/content/c43fd4369d2…
From the instructions:
To use the presta valve adaptor:
- Loosen presta valve locking nut.
- Thread presta valve adaptor onto valve stem with
larger open end toward wheel. - Position the air chuck clamp in the unlock position.
- Clamp the end of the air chuck down onto the presta
valve adaptor by pressing air chuck clamp down until
it locks into place. - After inflation, remove air chuck and tighten locking
nut.

I got this and its good
Are these good for car tyres? Also does it show the current reading of the air pressure once plugged in?
I've used this exact same model pumping truck and forklift tyres and it works, but runs quite hot. You also see the pressure as well.
I used this to seat a motorcycle tyre. Which was stubborn, and needed to go up to about 80psi. Aka a bomb. Little ripper managed it.
How long does this take to pump up a car tyre to 40psi?
Depends how you inflate it - from flat, vs just a top up
Depends on the profile and the width. I inflated a 16in 4wd tyre from flat in about 25min. To top up a few psi it takes a few minutes
Also depends on the weight.
How do these compare to the Xiaomi USB-C inflators?
Ozito version looks like a near exact re-badge except its half the price… $79.98
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-cordless-inflator-…edit: the spare battery and charger combo might make this deal decent.
I think the aldi one better as it can be use using batteries or plug to the wall. I am kicking myself not to buy the last one when it's on $29 clearance because it missing one adaptor.
Love these to maintain car tyre pressure for a few cars. Purchased a few years ago and still going strong. Never had to inflate from empty tyre though.
Any idea how well this would work with an Inflatable Sup to 15 PSI ?
I'm using a Tahwalhi Watersports 12V Electric Pump but it is insanely loud when the compressor runs.
I would really like to swap to something that isn't so loud…Want to know too.
A decent SUP inflator would have 2 stage airflow, the low pressure high volume and then auto switch to high pressure (15psi) and lower volume.
Does this one have that? You would have to switch between using the two attached tubes. One does high volume, low pressure and the other does the high pressure. Best thing about this is, using the high volume to deflate and suck out all the air.
Agreed. I use this to deflate camping mattresses and summer inflatable pool toys - does it in seconds
It's very slow and extremely loud. I use the high flow and finish it off by hand. Trying to finish it off with high pressure side, even after 15mins it's still below 10psi so I give up by then as I feel like I'm bothering people with the amount of noise it makes.
Thanks I guess I'll stick with the Tahwalhi for now.
Thinking of making a sound proof box that I can put over the pump while it runs, it's so bloody loud!Yep exactly the same for me. I actually find it brilliant because it does the high volume bit really well, then i do the rest manual pump.. wayyy less effort than the whole thing manually
I tried it. Can be done but takes forever. You can't get over 1 PSI with the high volume inflator, then you use the high pressure pump with a SUP adapter and that part takes forever. I have tried few 2 stage inflators and some of them don't have good pressure meters and switches to high pressure pump too early and takes a long time to inflate. I have found the Bestway Electric SUP pump to be quite good. It inflates the SUP to 15 PSI in about 12 minutes, but this depends on the SUP size. It is also the cheapest SUP pump available. I use the Kings 12Ah portable battery with the pump and it works very well and can inflate and defalte many SUPs (4+).
Link to Bestway Electric SUP pump
https://www.mydeal.com.au/bestway-electric-air-pump-powergri…if it take 12 min to get the sup to pressure then you're better of with elbow grease, I've done that a few times with the provided manual pump, as long as you have someone to hold the hose so if does not loosen out of the valve, you can definitely get it done within 10min. Some decent manual pump can get the job done in half that time (I knew because I borrowed it from fellow camper once when forgetting to bring mine, which was much cheaper built).
Not when you have 3 to pump. Not fit enough to pump 3 in a row. I can unpack and setup while the inflator is doing it's job.
It works but takes about 45 minutes to inflate one paddle board. I got a rechargeable SUP pump from Aliexpress and it does 2 SUPs with one charge in under 10 minutes.
There is a few videos of people using this for their SUPs and you're looking at 20 fukin minutes.
Good little unit except that mine is unbelievably loud on the volume inflation setting. Very antisocial to fire it up around other people.
Depends on whether you want them to go home.
I have one of these, back when the skin was $99. The little digital screen went to crap (heat related from being in the shed?) so I cant see or adjust the pressure on the tyre pump.
What did Bunnings say when you took it back under warranty?
I've had 2 do the same. First was out of warranty, 2nd I bough used with no receipt. Might try this for 3rd time lucky, and if I get 6 years I'll be happy.
Anyone know how this compares to the pistol grip style one? That doesn't deflate but I've never wished it did, so probably not worth the upgrade
depends which one of the pistol grip ones you have. there's two types - a high pressure one, and a high volume one.
this tool does both. it's also a little different because you don't have to continually press the trigger to inflate.
But honestly, they are all the same for light use. With this unit you can set the desired pressure and it will inflate then stop automatically. The trigger ones don't do this
What's the RRP?
Happy to spoon feed a fellow OzBargainer.
In baby speak… spoon feed train is coming in.. open ya mouth wide.., ummm! Here ya go. $214 RRP.
Deflation. From manual.
Ryobi inflator/deflator
You may use this tool for the purposes listed below.
• Inflating high pressure items like motorcycle, car, and bicycle tires.
• Inflating and deflating low pressure items like air mattresses, rafts and floats.Ozito inflator/deflator also seems to only deflate if using the high volume/low pressure i.e. not tyres etc.
You just need to connect the adaptor to the high pressure item and it will deflate itself.
Are these suitable for air tents?
Good unit had mine for years, the stand out is its digital pressure gauge, extremely accurate
It’s an awesome little unit. Never have to go to the servo to pump again.
Volume inflator also works well with kids inflatable toys/pools.Anyone use these on their 4x4? Deflate and inflate their tyres before going on sand?
Too slow for 4WD tyres. I use an ARB CKMA12 for my Prado.
For these style of inflators I only use it for tyre pressure maintenance or when I do puncture repairs at home.Figured as much. Yeah ARB make good stuff, been looking into them as well, thanks for the reply
Don't need the deflator, but does anyone think there will be a deal on the high pressure inflator models + battery later on?
Before we get all excited, and want to inflate more tyres than that, note this is an EIGHTEEN volt gadget.
that might be a fatal; flaw for off-road use.
18V is nice, but Me, I'd prefer to use a TWELVE volt one that can run from my car battery,
your thoughts ?My thoughts are for that specific purpose you can get motorcycle kit intended 12v pumps that are a third the size. But they won't do high volume for air beds etc, and tend not to have digital gauges or automatic shut off.
Picked this up for $80 on clearance at Ellenbrook Bunnings, WA.
Any idea about this ? Is this better ?
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-high-pressure-infl…
This unit is only High Pressure, rather than both Low & High Pressure. So therefore, if you'd like to inflate air beds etc, you'll not be able to. Plus you also miss out on the battery & charger. Is it worth the extra $30? I reckon so unless if you have a very specific use case and budget.
Thanks mate
I have the Ozito version of this. It’s working well.
