Nice, I can't wait for Linda to come home. I can change Linda please just give me a chance
Nah, there's always a few unobtainable stupid deals in amongst all the bs
dsteals and coupons.Come one man, it's great time to stock up on TP and oat milk. It's pretty much all Amazon is good for these days. Groceries when the price match Coles and Woolies then you apply S&S on top.
It'll suck just like last year
Are we here to discuss items that are hard to sell on sale as usual?
Like the neck massager which is definitely not anything else.
INB4 someone makes a joke about @Jimothy Wongingtons wife being disappointed…
Looking forward to Mrs Wongingtons being disappointedI just want a discounted ASUS router
I'll sell you mine. RRP is $150 you can have it for $149.95.
I saw an article about Amazon USA having the lowest seller promotions for prime deals this year than any other year. Sellers are struggling to meet their margins. Yes tarrifs in US is a factor, but I'm assuming globally with the cost of living everywhere, this will trickle into Aus as well.
What can Gov do to deal with the thread by the US again

Just signed up the free 30 day trial. Again. Lol.
fyi after last year when some $40~$80 items I was looking at WENT UP by $20~$40 in price instead of down.
I took the chance to buy one thing BEFORE prime day when it was on regular price drop to SAVE money.
the only things I think have a chance of getting an actual discount are probably Amazon Basics items.
Bose QC Ultra back to $449. Hope they go on sale on the 8th. I was about to pull the trigger but was too late.
🐪🐪🐪
Thanks!!!!
Can 3 camels catch all the price hikes?
Thanks!!!
Honey is a scam
ive scraped honey extension (removed it no longer use it any more) I've heard not good things about it
Can we please stop promoting Amazon Prime Day? It's so lacklustre at this point.
Certainly. Please click here, find the 3 horizontal dots in the grey menu bar, then tick Hide on Front page and Hide on New Deals page. Ensure that on the home page, the new front page is selected for customisation to show. Video example here and more info here.**
ozbarg gotta get paid
would be fascinated to know how much they get
Much much less than Bezos' last wedding bill.
it doesn't exactly have to be "promoting".
but being aware that it's coming soon/about to start.
for example last year out of 4+ items I was watching for awhile, the prices either stayed the same or WENT UP with a bright red sale text next to it.
so now 6 hours left until it starts.
anyone pretty certain of price JACKS and buying price dropped items just ahead of prime day?
care to share any? 😌
Please mr bezos sir I need new blades for my philips oneblade sir
shaver shop
i want them cheaper than shaver shop
OZB really needs to shelve this discussion which is of no value as everyone knows that Amazon Prime Days are a complete dud in Australia with little to no deals every single year.
but then how will I quelch my fomo??
It's usually only the international products that are of any use. But they sometimes sell out before most of us wake up!
That's just your perception. Prime Day is probably the second biggest shopping event on OzBargain — easily beating Boxing Day.
Does the sale start at midnight tonight?
in 3 hours.
Reckon its worth staying up for?
you want my honest opinion? no.
but I will be because I have a bunch of tabs open on iPad for items I'm looking at that I will buy with good enough discount. (all lower prices items btw expecting to see under $50 for each item). none of them in serious need, but I'm willing to pay a discounted price to get it.
I can't remember the year before last year, or when the first prime day was. but I remember last year and nothing I was looking at went down in price. either stayed the same or went up. again all sub $50 items btw.
I don't think any of the deals are really time limited like that?
Cashbacks would probably be the highlight, unless they exclude everything and cap it.
Does iPhone generally get included in this sale?
lol you jest 🤣
In a parallel world, yes.
I don't expect anything significant. The usual discounted price that happens time to time.
What a comedian
Short answer: No.
You can search past deals that
- Has "iphone" in the title
- Tagged with Amazon Prime Day
Search result. Only iPhone deal in the past is this refurbished iPhone 8 / iPhone SE in 2023.
$449 entry level iPad is what Apple get people in the ecosystem

Does anyone have any recommendations for PC cases and electric screwdriver sets?
Not Prime Day related, but Lancool 207 is really good. Just got one recently for the girlfriend and very impressed.
some items actually went up in price lol
What is the profit margin Amazon AU get? More or less than Bunnings?
Nothing of note thus far… but hey, 11% off Mountain Dew.
Thanks Jeff
what a savings
$14 for 12x1.25L before covid, sigh. 😭
I want to drink mountain dew right now. don't have any. 😂
A dog toy I bought for $10 last year and was hoping to replace is $20 this year. :(
Headphones have great discounts. Ultra and Momentum. Got one
The lightning deals are a joke as usual, 90% of them sit on 0% claimed.
Glad people aren't that fooled by junk.
Any robot vac recommendations?
Can we make a rule that 'deals' must be the lowest price in the last 12 months!
OzBargain post count dries up overnight.
Robot Vacuum cleaner < $500. TLDR - which is the best deal on robot vacum cleaner that does carpets (and maybe mops a bathroom).
Prime day is a fair joke recently.
In fact lets be honest, black friday and boxing day have also become pretty 'meh' as well. The usual 15% off on the same robot vac and alexa devices.
Some of my bookmarked categories don't even have a Prime Day filter. There isn't a single bloody deal in them this year.
Need links to best deals on power banks and SD cards. Thanks!
Haven't seen any
SD cards seem more expensive than normal :-(
dont really see much on ‘sale’. Half of my cart is either $1-4 less with the sale tag or just not even on sale. Has been mid for past few years now.
Noticed some stuff were at the sale price 1 week ago, went up then now back at that price with ‘Prime Day’…..
Coles and Woolworths have entered the chat
No eneloop deals
Why did AAA eneloop cost the same as AA anywayI know this comment gets flogged like a dead horse with a lot of hyperbole every big Amazon sale but…… "where are the bargains? waiting on bargains."
This is by far the worst Prime sale i've seen.
actually was better than last year for me. some items I was looking at actually had price drops (and not the jack before and lower type).
but also a tonne of things that I had open in old tabs, the price didn't change at all. 😂
but at least some lower prices on items I was looking at recently. also whether the sale is good/bad probably really depends on what you are keeping an eye on.
I want the instant pot duo 8L but it sold out. Historically do they ever restock during the sale period or do I just give up?
These "deals" are pathetic. Prime Day has become such a joke.
Its not Prime Day, its Prime Week now. Its when you buy groceries, add S&S, add cashback, add bonus cashback, pay with discounted giftcard, and then you get some resemblance of a deal.
Where are the 10-20% cashbacks that we usually see??? Do we wait til the end?
I got a digital angle gauge during the mid-year sale when it was posted here. Now it's cheaper. Any chance I can get it refunded and buy the cheaper version?
Why are robot vacuums still so expensive on prime day? It just sux.
There are some pretty decent Dreame deals.
I didn't think it were possible to beat last years atrocious offerings yet here we are.
Anyone else noticed that the shipping times seem to be a lot longer? even stuff sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon I’m getting estimated delivery dates of Monday at the earliest. I’m in in Metro Melbourne they aren’t obscure things or coming from overseas. It seems weird.
I found delivering to Parcel Locker via AusPost will lengthen the estimate time. Their warehouse is likely super busy at the moment so they are just trying to be conservative.
On the other hand, I bought something yesterday afternoon from Amazon and it got delivered to a Parcel Locker today in Sydney, even though the initial estimate was next Monday.
Ahh maybe that’s it. I am delivering to a P.O. Box now as I don’t currently have a street address. It must be longer for delivery to a P.O. Box
Bought something large and bulky yesterday. Delivered today to regional Vic (3.5 hours out of Melbourne).
Anyone else noticed that the shipping times seem to be a lot longer?
it's Prime day. so yes warehouse backed up.
fyi I ordered few items days ago, they arrived next day.
recent order says arrives mid next week.
I'm on prime.
another update. cancelled my free trial of Prime, and did the feedback it asked me, made sure to mention the reason as Delivery expectations/experience can't remember which it said.
straight away my orders got bumped up to days away instead of a week.
but then I ordered something else, third party seller but Fulfilled by Amazon (which I thought meant it's in stock at local warehouse). end of the month. that's when it says it will arrive. weird.
@Buyer0fBargains: no it's ok just giving an honest update. because we all going thru it. yeah that one item still saying end of the month.
not the first time I experienced this though (just not 3 weeks away, sometimes 1 or 2). it seems like "Fulfilled by Amazon" can mean, Shipping from china now. maybe.
because I have a aliexpress order on the same day I think, which has shipped days ago. so have a feeling it will arrive before my Fulfilled by amazon order.
Every sales event they overestimate delays, you should find that it comes pretty quickly still, well before the estimate.
Fingers crossed. I did get 2 items almost next day, even though they were estimated for the same date as everything else. But none of the other items seem to have even shipped yet.
Some of the items I had in my cart had their prices increased the day before, and now they’re being offered as “Prime Deals” with 50% off, but the final price is actually just the regular price. In fact, a few of them were even cheaper during smaller, normal discounts in the past.
but the final price is actually just the regular price.
yes this is very common. I had a lot of tabs with items I wasn't needing right now, their prices didnt change at all.
the more recent ones I was looking at did get cheaper though. so bought. better than last year. not saying it's great but better than last year.

Can't wait for the exact same price jacked discounts that are offered one-week-on one-week-off all the time ad infinitum.
