    Nevermind! Googled it :D

    • +1

      Yes.
I just plugged mine into my Macbook Pro running Windows 7 via Bootcamp, and yes, it is outputting the sound via headphones and showing Playback & Microphone as Wireless Stereo Headset.

Good to know, I was going to see if my PX5 work with it, stuff it, I will use these.

    • +3

argghhh….. bought one… now it can gather dust along with my PS3. Thanks ozbargain! :D

  • +1

Holy crap, I may jump on this, QQQ If i place my order now, will it come to QLD before the 31st? It's been a while since I've bought from COTD (Mostly because of shipping taking forever, so not sure how it is now) if so, I'll buy them right now.

    • Does anyone know if this will work on a standard windows 7 laptop ?

      Edit:
It is Compatible with a standard Windows / MAC machine,

      Instructions here
      https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4…
Setting up your Wireless Stereo Headset on a Windows or Mac OS Computer

And what is it's range (Distance from the base computer?)

Edit: Still don't know the range?

      • +1

says 10m (33 feet) on website

        • Thanks Fubar,

Ordered on Thursday and just got an email saying it's been dispatched.

          That's a first for COTD.

        • Received.
          Quick shipping.. ++

        • Agreed, never bought anything from CotD before. But purchased these (13/3) and received an email from auspost (15/3) saying "Onboard with Driver", 2hours later it arrived on my doorstep.

Did not receive any emails for COTD saying it had been dispatched.

I just bought a set of Razer 7.1 Tiamat yesterday, and I am sill thinking these might be a good backup….

    Hmmmmm

  • +2

I'm in, been looking at these for a while and that's the best price I've seen by a long way…

  • +1

I wonder if these will work on the pc with the virtual 5.1 sound, anyone know?

    • +2

No, I got a set, they only work in stereo on PC. But still pretty damn good quality.

      • +1

Almost all reviews are saying the same. 7.1 and 5.1 are only supported by some PS3 games. PS3 movies and music is stereo and all PC audio is also stereo only.

  • +4

+1 for an amazing price on the finest pair of headphones I've ever owned. I paid $98 at launch and they've been worth every penny.

    • +1

      lol "finest"

  • +1

    How do you charge these?

  • +1

Would this work on an xbox by any chance? I doubt it, but I'd love to know!

    • +2

      They sure won't.

  • +2

I already have PX5's but the ozbargainer in me says "buy 'em, they're cheap!"

  • +1

Where do you enter the code ? I am not seeing it on the checkout page where you enter your credit card ? Thanks

    • +1

in shopping cart. click on 'Have a coupon code?'

    • +1

'Have a coupon code' is under the quantity, there about.

  • +1

Is this a standard bluetooth headset that I could pair with my phone or PS Vita? or is the provided USB dongle essential for it's operation?

Also, I've heard there are 2 revisions of this model?

  • +1

Wow great price. just brought a set. thanks

    • +8

Where did you bring it to?

  • +2

    QQQ, you done it again!!

  • +1

    Thank Mate .

  • +1

Seems like a good deal. My wife and I just bought a pair each.

    • +1

Not much point getting 2 unless you have 2 PS3s: "Only one (1) stereo wireless headset can be connected to a PS3 at a time".

      https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4…

      • -1

id rather not have a headset, than share one….gross

        • +2

Husbands and wifes share all sorts of things!

        • +3

lmao, married couples share a lot more than just headphones mate

        • Thank you for stating the obvious, one day you guys will wear the pants in your relationships :)

        • +4

one day you guys will wear the pants in your relationships :)

I don't care who wears the pants, as long as I get to take them off.

  • +1

    I BUY!

  • +2

    Good deal.

I dont need/want it, but to put it in perspective, its $149 at JB-Hifi
    http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/ps3/ps3-sony-wireless-si…

    • +1

It's not fair to compare prices on JB's Australian stock versus COTD's grey imports.

      • -1

Australian stock means nothing as the product is made in China, not locally.

        • Australian stock means nothing

That's only your opinion. The point is that price comparison must be of the same product, including the warranty and accessibility to exchange.

  • +1

Sounds like a good deal but seems a bit restrictive in that they won't work with my Xbox or other media sources on the TV. Short battery life means I'll just save the money but I'm sure plenty of hardcore gamers out there would appreciate the $60 headphones.

  • +1

QQQ, where is Phoenix when we need him?

  • +3

I bought them for $90 few months ago. These are GODLIKE, much better than over priced razr headsets. The surround sound in Ps3 games is mind blowing. They also work flawlessly with PC's and some supported android phones (via OTG).

    • +1

Is that going to be 'Mind Blowing' sound for all PS3 games, or only supported ones?

      • +1

Majority of the games have surround sound.

  • +2

Have seen them for $130-150 previously; this price seems like a steal; recently got a different headset or would buy this.

  • +1

    Got one. Thanks!

  • +3

Will it be compatible with the PS4 releasing soon? Anyone?

  • +3

    Great value.

    Also work on Linux.

  • +1

    Amazing value, cheers!

  • +2

    Does it work with Mac?

  • +1

How do these compare to Logitech wireless headsets on a PC?

Would these be a good choice for a PC headset?

  • +1

    Sold out? I can't find them ;(

  • +1

    just got a set

  • +1

Do these get hot under the ear?
    Thanks

  • +2

Now need to get a PS3.. any good deals around :P

  • +4

    QQQ, HELP please.

I bought one but when I pressed purchase I must have missed seeing where to enter the code and before I know it there is no further prompt to enter code and I must have missed it and $85 had been taken out of my credit card as was pre-populated. So hopefully you can amend the invoice no#8066529 accordingly please as I would not be buying if it is $85 is not a bargain at all for me. If you are unable to amend the invoice then please just cancel my order. Thank you in advance QQQ, great listing for $60.
Heads up people, just be careful before you press pay.

    • +1

i just almost became a victim like you lol the very tiny barely visible 'Have a coupon code?' lucky oshman pointed it out.

  • +1

Spot on QQQ just bought a set

  • +1

    QQQ,

I got the same issue as shopaholic32 - my order number is 8066598. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue with this deal

The field was pre populated, can you amend the order? if it's 85 dollar, can you cancel please?

    Regards,

    • I got the same problem too, my order number is 8068492. I'm pretty sure i applied the code on checkout… not sure what happened. can you apply the discount otherwise cancel? Thanks!

  • +2

I've got to stop coming here! I just bought another thing that I had no intention of buying until 5 minutes ago. Anyway. Thanks QQQ.

  • +1

Must resist ordering… already have 2 corded sets…

  • +1

Does anyone know if it also has 7.1 sound effect when I use my PS3 to watch Blu-Ray movies? Thanks!

    • +1

Apparently yes for BD movies, after software upgrade as I found on google.
However I am not sure if the 7.1 is also applicable for the PC, anyone else care to confirm?

      • +3

Virtual Surround Sound is only available on the PS3. On PC, you just get stereo sound.

      • +2

No, with PC you will not get 7.1 surround sound.

    • +1

"Surround sound works with Blu-ray Disc movies running system software update 4.20 and later."

  • +1

    Gamersony no longer works

    • +1

Try again, it worked for me just then testing it,

  • +1

Anyone else having problems with the code?

    • +1

      log in first?

  • +1

I'm using mobile site and it says cannot be validated

  • +4

Got one, everyone's comment made it too tempting!!
    Verified coupon works.

  • +6

The coupon code won't work on mobile (unless you use the Full Site on mobile).. It doesn't work on the catch app either! Good price though :) worth the effort to get the code to work

  • +1

Purchased!! Thanks cjmorgan87!! And of course QQQ!

  • +1

I already have ms1i's and AD700s and just bought this. I've been ozbargained :)

  • +1

Grabbed a set….and some shoes. Haha

    Thanks OP. :)

  • +1

Got them for $49.95 with extra $10 off thanks to a previous messed up order :D

    Great value!

  • +5

Ahh sc*ew it, I'll get one too even though I don't even need it!

  • +1

Hey QQQ, and deal on the Sennheiser RS160s?

    Pleeease?

  • +5

jeez, had no idea i needed a ps3 headset. Ozbargain is cruel

  • +2

dammit ozbargain, you did it again. I hope these work okay in wireless to a PC….

  • +3

    Did I even need this?

  • +2
