Hi spacecowboy. I don't think it's a dupe, but I've asked the moderator for clarification. I believe your link doesn't highlight the fact it's a storewide Boxing Day sale, unless you delve into the post. Let's wait and see what the team says. Thanks for your find.

No worries. Original posts title focused on one deal, but also mentioned several other items and gave the link to their full Boxing Day sale catalogue. Was posted 10(?) hours earlier, so alot of people would have seen the catalogue already (like me).

    "AWA 46" 1080P LED LCD TV LE4603-05 - Black $598" Tempted for 450 bucks.

    • +4

      It's AWA… 'nuff said..

      • +6

I bought an AWA 32inch LCD from Big W many many years ago (it was $1300, so that gives you an idea of how long ago) and it's still going strong.

        • +1

You can't really judge the quality of a brand with just one item. I bought a AWA clock radio in the late 1980s and used it for over 10 years. It worked fine but the quality of built was cheap plastic.

        • +1

My parents had an AWA TV from the 90s that lasted a decade.

Build quality isn't much of a surprise in that you can look at a floor model before you buy, but internal quality it hard to judge. Don't assume it's bad just because it's a cheap brand. I've had good experiences with the 3 or 4 AWA products I've used, so I would happily buy again.

      • Bought a AWA 32" LCD about 4 years ago. It's still fantastic.

Please Huntsmanll, don't play me for a fool. I don't copy posts, and I always search before posting to ensure no dupes. In this case, the search didn't find a match. I think my record speaks for itself.

      • +40

You've only had 555 posts. I think you need more experience before making outlandish claims like that. :)

      • +15

said the guy with a duplicator badge… lol :)

        • +3

+ve to highdealer because I had no idea Black badges existed until today. There's always something new to learn about Ozbargain.

I find the Ab Circle Pro tempting. I am officially having my mid life crisis.

    • +1

I really hate how they continually use the word "buns" (as in "buns & thighs") in these exercise commercials. Maybe that is a different machine? Or is this one good for "buns & thighs" too? Aaaghhh.

    • reviews on amazon not so good and it is only $59 (USD) there. hmm thought it was a bargain but maybe not

  • What games are $5

    • +7

      All the crap ones.

  • 25% samsung led tv is great, also sony would be great, not everything is listed online ashame

  • +3

So that should be roughly 50% off for DVDs and Blurays online right?

    • +1

thats what i'm hoping for :)

      • +1

43.75% if they apply the 25% off twice.

You can also get 2-3.6% cashback with starthere.com.au depending on what tier you are on.

  • Any big screen TVs that are a particularly good deal? 55-60" under $1500?

  • Did anyone find a robot vacuum cleaner?

  • +1

Can you click & collect for the stuff in the catalog? There is NO way I want to go into a shopping centre to actually shop for at least 3 weeks after Boxing day!

    • +2

Erm, so how exactly do you propose to do the "collect" part?

      • +1

I don't mind going inside to collect 1 package, I just don't want to have to spend any more time inside the store than necessary!

  • +1

Shh.. not sure how much stock they have, but I just got Seinfeld S1-9 for $42.50 using the $10 coupon, gold jerry!

    • Do you know if you can use the $10 off multiple times or just once per customer?

      • +1

Multiple. I've used it 5 times with the same log in. If it doesn't work, close your browser and try again (clear cache, etc if needed). Although I haven't had to do that. The only time it hasn't worked for me is when I applied it, then changed the contents of my cart and it disappeared, then I wasn't able to apply it again without clearing cache.

  • +1

It seems the 25% off DVDs and blu-rays has already started online. You can combine it with the 10OFFBR code for another 10 bucks off.

    • +2

I was upset when I first read that because I bought a blu-ray a few hours ago with a cheap xbox 360 game. It was $8 for a 2 movie pack, so I thought it would have now been $6. Instead, it's no longer listed for sale, and the individual movies are on sale for $8 each.

    • +2

It seems the 25% off DVDs and blu-rays has already started online.

      Yep, seems that's the case.

      • its been updated to Start 23 Dec until Boxing Day :)

  • Is anyone else getting big w site timeouts?

  • If you snuck into Big W tonight before they closed you would've been able to score the Boxing Day deals already.

    • Still open for an hour in WA…
