    So, I would think it is safer to buy the 6GB version to avoid disappointment. (even though you can buy the 4,8 and 12 versions using the 'trick')

    The Mobile Apps tab of the product page speaks of remote access to files but says you need to be using "An iPhone, iPad or iPod"

    Isn't there any Android support for remote access ?

      Only after your money deposited in a fixed term account makes up the difference between what you paid and the RRP, so …. around 2065 I believe.

      Now, realistically, given the number sold, I would say optimistically they should be shipped later this week.

    Well I got a lovely email. My order was cancelled due to non-payment!!!

    I paid via paypal on Friday and after 3 days of NON-payment they cancelled.

    To top it off the email says if I still want it, re-order. That's all fine and dandy but they are OUT OF STOCK!

    Fanbloodytastic. I've waited so long for an offer like this that I could afford.

          After many calls, including failed ones from bad numbers in the emails, it's finally satisfactorily sorted.

          It turns out the "order cancelled" email was for a different order number than my order, verification and paypal emails.

          How, why? Dunno. But at least my order went through and "has been posted"(?)

          Hopefully posted already. I'll report back here.

      Can confirm that after calling, I have been advised that payment has been approved and processed and ready for shipment by tommrow at the latest. I have also found out that it is being shipped from Melb. Now waiting for the email for shipment.

    I got an email late last night to say my 4TB My Book Studio has shipped. It's missing a tracking number. No sign of the 8TB My Book Live Duo which was a separate order. I did get an email order confirmation for it though.

    Has anyone successfully logged in to the online order tracking? I created an account and changed my password but it still say my order number or email is incorrect!

      I got the same shipping confirmation email late last night as well.
      It also had no tracking number, but it says that it left the warehouse on the 15/8.
      I have been able to login, but again there is no order tracking or status.

      They reckon 3-5 working days, so hopefully I get it today or tomorrow.

    Just called CS (They forgot to put me on hold and I could hear the conversation they were having about food while the computer was "processing" my details for 5 minutes).

    The lady said that the shipping confirmation should happen within the next 24 hours. Will see if they ship on time.

      the people who are calling make things worst for everyone, it makes them aware of the mistake or the problem if there is any.
      just be patience and every thing should be good, worst thing will happen you will get your money back. I dont understand the people calling regards their orders. is it that hard to wait?

      "Your card will not be charged until the item ships" - mine got charged 5 days ago. Nothing shipped. They need to refund me soon if they are not shipping.
