      • I bought an Omega… because it was cheap….
I quite like it for my very small family…it has a quick wash cycle… BUT!!!! It doesn't fit ordinary-sized dinner plates in it :( … take the warning!!

        • +1

Really?? I think cleaning dinner plates would be at least 25% off my usage.

        • @andyman1908:

Ended up buying a delonghi s/s one from TGG for $430. The original $539 price seemed the lowest price online already.

        • @andyman1908: ended up buying the Samsung from thegoodguys was $699, paid $550

    • +4

      No. It's not.

      • Thanks for letting me know! Why the hell do they advertise it as "NEW" then?!

    • +2

      Nah, that's the old one.

The new 3dsxl (n3dsxl) only comes in blue or black at the moment while the n3ds only comes in white. (For Australia)

    • just bought the samsung galaxy note 4…is it 20% off the original price, 2% off the original price for cash rewards, and 9% off the original price for TRS?

      • +1

        correct!

        • thanks mate :D that is bloodary awesome

  • Does this mean that we can make 3 transactions with $200 discount for each transaction? Or is it a max of $200 discount total for each person?

  • +3

Thanks! I got the Moto G LTE from The Good Guys for $183.20!

  • Thanks guys I got my wife a galaxy tab S, got myself some motorcross goggles from torpedo 7 and got some lego for my nephew.

So many screaming shit rats and dungers at the shops around Christmas, I hate Christmas shopping.

    The 20% off was great.

    Cheers

$318.40 for Dyson DC44 Animal Stick Vacuum Cleaner 24079-01, for anyone on here left that hasn't already bought one, ha!

  • So TGGs ebay site says 20% off with code, no conditions, but the thread here says max $200. Liking to but a high end tv and that makes a big difference. Which one is it?

    • +1

I just bought a TV from Good Guys and received the Paypal invoice with discount; only negative is that they have removed all stock pickup from local store and it's delivery only. Rung the local store yesterday and they confirmed stock availability.

      $200 maximum discount………

      • Dick Smith doing the same thing apparently. Their website shows stores near me with stock but their ebay site reports none.

Read clause 6. I would be taking the advice of eBay and their terms because they are he ones paying the merchant. Anything over >=$1000 will only receive a $200 discount (excluding postage).

  • Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet from TGG.
    $427.20 after discount. Good price.

    • not a huge difference to kogan

      • +2

        $30 is still $30 :)

      • +1

I'd rather an Oz tablet from TGG than a grey import from Kogan.

    • Similar pools are cheaper elsewhere. The 3m version was $55 at K-Mart last week, not sure if they still have stock though. This size at Bunnings is less too.

Edit: Kmart even have it online: http://www.kmart.com.au/product/bestway-fast-set-up-pool---1…

I work on a fair price for a fair product. We don't have that much disposable water.
If a retailer is going going to come to me with a deal that I think is a fair price I'm not going to screw them over a $10. I like to support retailers that first put up deals. Even If I can price match and the difference isn't that much I'll spend the extra.. I got 55"Sammy and a Tab 4 for just over $1600 straight of the street maybe just good timing.

        • Fair enough if you want a smaller pool to save water. Not sure what you are trying to say with the rest. K-Mart had these same pools last year for < $60, they also had the 2.4m version for even less. So the Target price is not a bargain, not even after another 20% off. In any case K-Mart would be 'first to put up the deal', Target is following a year later with a somewhat higher price.

I've got the current Dick Smith catalogue in front of me, and it lists the Samsung UA55H4600 TV as $1,299. On eBay, $1,449… http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-55-139cm-Full-HD-3D-Smart…

    • +1

Wow you techinically only save $50 after the 20% discount online. That's dodgy!

    • The Good Guys have it for $1295, able to be discounted down to $1095 with the code… tempting

      • I'm not sure this applies. Sure if in the same store, or the same catalogue, they had different prices, you might have an argument. But completely different places of sale? Do you reckon every single Caltex sells Unleaded 91 for the same price all over the country?

        • I am not having a go at you here. I just checked what the law says as your example was well though and I could reason with your point.

Firstly petrol is not advertised in a catalogue however in any instance is excluded under Australian Consumer Law because a price or representation is not a displayed price for goods as per below. So in the case of Petrol via your Caltex example they are excluded by the price being expressed as a price of volume. Dick Smith is advertising the same product in their catalogue and on their website cheaper than the same product on their eBay store. Whether an eBay promotion of 20% off covers them in this case is what i do not know, ethically it's questionable.

Despite subsection (2), a price or representation is not a displayed price for goods if:
          (a) the price or representation is wholly obscured by another such price or representation that is written, stamped or located wholly over that price or representation; or
          (b) the price or representation:
          (i) is expressed as a price per unit of mass, volume, length or other unit of measure; and
(ii) is presented as an alternative means of expressing the price for supply of the goods that is a displayed price for the g

in this case the exact product is listed in the Dick Smith Catalogue for a cheaper price they are offering through their

Good deals if you look around

      • Spot on. Floaters that don't want to do any work for a deal will miss out on something like this.

  • Bought a Dyson DC34 for $196, TGG did raise the price from $235 to $245 yesterday but still a good deal under $200.

  • +1

Turns out that at 25% off (incuding Velocity via Ebay and Amex points) - that you really NEED a brand new fridge, not just want one. Also got xmas toys and a quilt. Saved about $300 so far. What else does one "need" ha

  • Thoughts on the LG G2 for $478? Thinking to upgrade my HTC One X

    • Should probs see if you can have a play with a display model in-store before committing. You might not like the placement of the rear hard buttons.

    • Great phone and stellar battery life (had it for a year, recently upgraded to a G3 which I would actually call a downgrade in many respects) - but as mentioned it can be had cheaper elsewhere, and if you like to root/hack your phones you'll want the international D802 as opposed to the local D802TA!

      • Cheers!

  • WTF they removed the moto 360 just as I was buying it :(

    • Check back later.. they might be re-listing it.

      • Hopefully they do, fingers crossed.

        • I just tried to pick up my black Moto at my local store. Heaps on order but no stock. She could only find 1 store with 1 in stock and that was Frankston in Melbourne. I'm on the Gold Coast.

        • @systmworks:

Black is on backorder with the distributor, they were meant to arrive last week but got pushed back to yesterday so hopefully stock this week

        • @furythree: Ingram Micro? I guess with eBay chipping in 20%, even dealer buy price through work would be higher..

        • @systmworks:
          correct

    • better IT still has it in stock for around $298 incl express insured delivery and payment fees (so still about $280)

I don't know what size you are looking for but this is the one I just purchased for $764 delivered:

469L Samsung Fridge SR469MLS NEW from Appliances Online

it was already on sale so thats about half price. We checked out the fridge at Good guys and like the design. It even has an ice cube twister :)

      • Thanks, i am going to TGG to check it out now.

      • +1

  • $144 for the new Kindle Paperwhite… Is that much of a bargain?

    • Amazon have it on sale for black friday - $99 - though need to convert to USD and add shipping

      • Cheers, will have a look but given the AUD I'm not sure it's worth it. I wouldn't mind a Kobo, Sony, or Kindle but none of these sellers seem to sell them.

        Any e-reader bargains around?
