Computer Alliance have dropped their prices for the last few days of the Microsoft Cashback this year.
Pick up makes these a bargain. Shipping prices sort of dampen it a bit. Please see original Microsoft Cashback post for more information and discussion regarding the cash back.

          Okay just got through to them, and they've said that the invoice will be with the delivery. The date on the invoice will be within the cashback period despite the item which is due to be posted sometime during next week.

        Place two online orders, one with your name, and another with other family member on. Whatever details are in the online order are what will be used to create the tax invoice (so please make sure that is correct at time of order)

          @Frantic: Yes, we have staff working back today and tomorrow to make sure all orders (including pre-orders) received by 3pm Sunday are invoiced in time for the cash back.

      Hi rep, if I want to choose store pick up. There is no option coming to pay for, it says pay in store or either bank deposit. So can select any of them and will get invoice tomorrow.

      • Yes, we will be invoicing by 1 February (so the date qualifies for the cash back), but you won't actually receive the invoice until you pickup your order.

      9 Feb is Monday. Do you mean Friday 6 Feb?

      Will mail order be delivered by Monday 16 Feb to Sydney, five business days from 9 Feb? I will be away and I might miss the home delivery. Then I will miss the deadline for claiming the substantial cashback since I would not have an invoice.

        Hi alvian, 9 Feb was a typo, the last of our delivery orders get picked up by our courier today, so it should arrive well before 16 Feb. Also, your invoice should now be visible under your website account at https://www.computeralliance.com.au/account.aspx in case there is a holdup with your delivery.

  • I just placed my order online and have received an auto reply email saying it's been processed, however email did say the order will be process on 2/2/15. However I checked with the store rep via phone and they said exactly what sunilkimm said.

  • Rang before I went in first thing this morning, told them it was a bit of a drive for me and the guy said thats fine there will definitely be some here when you get here. Got there and there was none. He told me to go home and order online and come back when they are ready to collect and all should be ok. If i had known that initially i would have just done it online. Bit annoyed i wasted over an hour of my time and that i will need to go back.

    • Did I speak to you in the store? I cancelled my order and therefore there should be one left at least. Also, when I entered in to the store at around 11:15 there was definitely one of the Wedge keyboard available for pick up.

      • I interrupted a poor man who was sitting down being served due to my little one needing to use the bathroom. was that you? we sat down (hubby and I) and he did up two invoices than walked out the back and said there were none. i wanted to cry (been a long morning). I explained the situation of having called first etc but really if there were none there he really couldnt do anything anyway. We are after two so are just hoping it all goes through ok.

  • Megabuy has the wireless controller for $34.91 but I'm not sure that they are participating in the microsoft cashback offer, does anyone know if I would still get cashback if I ordered from them? They have an abn. Shopping express has it for about $35 each but you are only allowed to purchase 1 at a time so it makes the shipping $$ kill it. Wanted to buy before the cutoff tomorrow.

      • Yeah I've already read through that list of which megabuy is not on there, however they have an abn, they are an australian company etc so i was hoping someone could clear up the ambiguity. Maybe someone who has purchased from there recently and successfully claimed (or unsuccessfully).

  • Just picked this up for $38.95 with OW price-matching CA. The chick at the counter asked if it quoted shipping and I of course said nope, which it doesn't when you first add it to the cart.

    I shall be paid $1.05 for owning this :)

      Shipping would not be included in price match of local retailer with free pickup. Your profile shows as Brissie.

      Which OW & is there still stock for those locals wanting to save $.
      (As OW near me were out of stock, cost of travel to OW with stock was greater than $4 savings. For me, CA is very close.)

        I did use my ING card but only getting the 2% these days. I would have thought I would be charged the shipping cost as the order is online only which would be $9.

        I grabbed mine from OW Morayfield and they had 1 left, Rothwell also have 1 left.

        • Somehow I still get 5% rebate on ING (card issued June 13), but 2% still improves your profit by 78c ;-)

          Online order, with free store pickup still available (20 minute walk for me, but further for you - just tell OW you were heading that way anyway or you know someone 20 minutes walk from the store), so no delivery cost in Brisbane area.

          For me, would be a lot more in time & travel cost to get to those OW to save a little on purchase :-( Thanks for posting locations - someone will benefit.

          I'm happy with my easy $1 (after Cashback) purchase from Computer Alliance.

    Price matched with OW, they mistakenly price beat by 10% instead of 5%. I ended up paying $36.90 for it. After cash back i m paid $3.10 to have this keyboard.

  • Grab last 2 at OW Epping VIC this morninng. Unfortunately I was charged with 15 delivery fee for each. The staff said delivery fee must be added for each one. Cannot just add one delivery fee for 2 keyboards, so 53.2 each. Previously not sure the invoice date of CA.

    • Something tells me that OW store won't price match no matter how many other OW receipts you can get.

      What time did you try a price match? Was it after CA ran out of stock?

      OW won't price match when no stock exists.

      It won't price match after midday (except if someone makes a mistake), as there are only pre-orders for stock available in over a week.

      OW could simply say come back when stock exists, but then you can't claim Cashback.

      But may be you will be lucky.

      Discussion of price matching started 5pm yesterday - enough time to visit OW before stock ran out at CA, as others did.

      But you can still order from this store ;-)

        @brucefromaustralia You are correct. They told me exactly same that out of stock on Computer Alliance. So I ended up ordering with CA. CA won my purchase. :)

    Thanks, CA. Great effort on working on Sunday. Status of my order placed yesterday: "it has now been processed and is awaiting dispatch from our warehouse." I didn't bother with price matching with OW.

  • The officeworks I went to had two wedge keyboards opened and repackaged to be sold again. Customer "changed his mind". I reckon someone bought them, and returned them to make money from the Cashback. Gah.

      • There goes that theory. Buyer only needed to scan receipt & return - easy & pretty undetectable, not damage/open box. Even if you needed serial number - it's on bottom of box.

    But the promotion is:
    "valid between 20th December and 1st February 2015"

    Is that inclusive of 1st Feb?

    • What issues are you having? Here is a guide for connecting a 360 controller to the console. The controller you listed is definitely good for both 360 and PC. By USB cable I'm assuming you mean the dongle for connection with the PC?
