    How exactly do i book it - I have gotten in, what do i click to BOOK the rate, i keep getting rate not selected.

      You will be looking at a table with two rows and 14 columns.

      The night you selected is the first column and if you want to choose another rate, you need to click on the cell with the date which will then move it to the first column.

      Then click the radio button beside the room type and click CONTINUE

      Their site is failing badly so often the CSS does not load and the page is messed up. Fortunately my first booking appeared correctly so I've been able to figure out the pattern for the next two bookings even with screwed up CSS (didn't want to reload because it would take me too long to get the page back!!!)

    I booked 3 nights at Medina Grand Melbourne. Keep trying. I had to enter my details about 10 times before it finally took it. I haven't got a receipt or confirmation email but i'm assuming its booked because the money was taken from my account.

      yes, providing the page loads OK, there are 2 tabs just before the days/rates - says Room1 and Room2.
      Spent about 30mins trying but got there after all.

    I was really unlucky - able to book but after I selected the date I wanted, I was confirmed a room on a completely different day! Been on the phone to Medina but of course they wont help. Be careful.

      Update: After no help from their phone customer service, I sent an email and got called back shortly afterwards and had the date changed to the correct one.

    Booked and confirmed - i didnt have any issues with different days/dates being booked (as far as i know)

    If you keep getting service unavailable - just keep refreshing no matter what stage you are at - i.e dont return to the very start (selecting dates) just because you get unavailable!

    You were right - f5 was my friend! Even had to use it for repeatedly on the https for secure payment to go through. All good in the end though. Now for my next reservation…….

    I got in for 2 nights at Vibe Sydney in December, $100, well pleased. Had to refresh countless times and got almost through once before it crashed on me. When I did eventually get through the pages were not displaying properly and I wasn't totally sure I was clicking on the right things, all good though go tthere in the end.

    Tried to book Medina Classic Canberra - got charged twice, called and all got fixed up (apparently, the 2nd charge hasn't been refunded yet..)

    Tried to book Medina Grand Sydney - Got charged, no confirmation, call and they said I'm not in the system.. put me through to central bookings and told it can take up to an hour. Tell them its been an hour.. told to just wait.

    They're a pretty big company so hopefully it all get sorted out, but I'm quite worried that the Sydney booking haven't gone through and there aren't any more rooms. With any luck I'll get a free upgrade if this is the case but we will see.

    Moral: Just be patient and don't refresh like a maniac.

      I tried to book Medina Grand Melbourne x 2. Got charged with no confirmation on the first booking but the second booking went through fine. I called up Medina who said i'm not in the system, who then put me through to Medina Grand Melbourne. They said i'm not in the system. And the person who deals with this stuff is unavailable so will need to call me back. Now i'm not sure whether I should try to re-book because i want these dates. Frustrating.

        Very frustrating.. Have you ended up resolving this yet? I've sent emails now as well, but no response. I was considering re-booking as well, but was afraid of ending up having to pay twice due to the no cancellation policy.

        EDIT: Just got a reply from the medina central reservations email address ([email protected]) and they said it's being investigated and I would be contacted by phone shortly. This might be the best course of action if it still hasn't been resolved.

    I booked all the way through, paid by VISA…

    Got sent off to the VISA authorisation page…
    Which then said it would return me to the calling page…

    BUT instead of Medina/togareservations I got
    "www tab com au"
    which I have never been to ever before!

    No money taken from account yet and the rooms
    I wanted are now gone.

    Waste of my time, it turns out.

    The process for me included lots of f5 refreshes on the Toga website - including search and the https payment page - only ever gave me confirmation once though.

    Toga's payment authorisation process on my credit card number triggered my bank's security system which diverts the connection to the separate website run by my bank for verification by responding to my secret question set-up just for online-credit-card-usage. After this I was diverted back to Toga reservations website with confirmation page and Confirmation Number.

    I made 3 separate successful reservations at different hotels with no problems other than the f5 refreshing on the Toga site. Not expecting any double charges because no reloads needed for verification website. Also FYI I received an email confirmation for each reservation about 2 minutes after making each booking.

    yeh i finally was able to refresh the page and everything is back to full price

    its bs that theyre saying its sold out. they have heaps and heaps of rooms, they just dont want all their rooms to be booked out at $50. if you check they still got tons of availabiltity. and this offer was for 50hrs or until sold out

    neither has happened yet. such a bunch of baiters
