      • Just checked my banking and PayPal accounts. The payment did indeed complete and money has been taken out. Do you have an e-mail address that I could send a screenshot of the PayPal transaction to? It was for a 10kg Mix 2 box (6kg oranges, 3kg mandies, 1kg lemons).

          Hi Congie,
I've found your payment so that has come through ok but I cannot find the order in Farmhouse Direct for some reason. It might be there in the back end of the site so I'll talk to the support and see if they can dig it out for us.

        • Awesome, thanks mate!

        • +1

          @Congie:
Just to update, the team can see your order but are waiting on their tech man to fish it out for us.

        • +1

@tlarnold: All sorted our end now, can you find the order at your end?

        • Yep, looks OK from here now too. Thanks for sorting it out!

  • Ordered a 10kg box! Now let's hope Aust post's delivery will arrive

  • Gonna give this a go - ordered 15kg of mixed citrus :)

  • Thank you! I was disappointed that i missed out on the last deal … Ive placed an order 20150809710294 for a mix of blood orange and mandarins . Would you know roughly how long it takes for delivery to capital cities ? Thanks again !

    • +1

These orders are being picked this coming weekend and posted next Monday the 17th as outlined in our delivery details.
To Adelaide they generally arrive Tues/Wed, Melbourne Wed, Syd Thurs, Bris Fri.

  • Just ordered a 10kg growers selection and looking forward to fresh fruit in the mail :-)

  • Just ordered a 5kg Mix 1 but forgot to specify the mix of fruit I'd like in the notes to the producer. Sent a message with the fruits I want using your order messaging system, hope I haven't caused too much trouble.

    • No that's fine thanks for placing an order.

  • Hi tlarnold, could you please change my order to 3kg of Tangelo and 7Kg Mandarine?

I didn't know that can be done at the time of ordering. My Order No: 20150809590173. Thanks

    • Will do.

  • +1

Just tried the code ARSEFARMER but didn't work OP could you please fix it

  • +1 for the freshness.. Ordered 15kg of Mandarin :)

  • Guys, they are nice people, please order from them and support our local growers. Tim, can I get 10 kg of growers selection box being delivered to two different addresses (eg. 5kg each)?

    • +1

Hi mate, I don't think we're able to do that with the ordering set up in place sorry. You'd have to put on two 5kg mixes and just specify your varieties in the notes to producer. Hope that makes sense.

      • Thanks mate, but if I order 2 x 5kg, that means I have to pay $40 instead of $35 for 10 kg of oranges…

        • +3

Yeah that's correct. Boxes, tape, labels and time all cost money hence multiple smaller boxes cost more to send than a single one of the same weight. Even without postage involved.

        • Will this offer expire in two hours time Tim?

        • Yeah it will unfortunately.

        • Tim, can't you send your 5kg Afourer mandarins to QLD?

  • just ordered 5kg of mandarin…10kg is a bit too much for me..

  • Thanks Arnold,
Just ordered a 10Kg mixed box. Just wondering in how many days the box will reach ACT?

    • Hi as noted in the delivery info these orders are to be picked this coming weekend for posting Monday the 17th.
Fruit to the ACT usually arrives Thursday but sometimes Friday at the latest.
We post on a Monday to ensure it arrives before the weekend.

  • Kids' Crunch'n'Sip organised for the next month, yay.

  • just ordered 10kg mixed box. Thanks OP.

  • Can you do a 15kg mixed box ?

  • Ordered!

  • Hi Rep, FYI, the "BUY" link from the blog is incorrect/broken: https://freshcitrusdirect.wordpress.com/category/from-the-or…
(Thank you for the great deal and the tips)

  • What do blood oranges taste like/

  • Ordered! Glad i got in this time :) 10kg of oranges/mandarines/lemons :)

  • Order this afternoon. Hopefully its as fresh as described. Plus, would OP consider implementing a special code for ozbargainers for future order for the same deal.

  • too late~~~

  • Ordered 20kg juice organges for $35… Looking forward to fresh juices in morning

  • No postage to Qld either?

    says - Store Policy
Posting to Vic, SA, NSW & ACT

edit - sorry, I was too late and missed out.

  • +1

I pick ours off the tree in our garden. Beautifully fresh & juicy - almost seedless. Price? - Priceless on cost, availability & abundance.

    • Hi Goosegog .. do you know what variety you have?
looking for a good one .. i've grown a variety before and unfortunately sometimes it takes years before you find out its not very good :S

      • +2

Sorry - can't help you there. The tree is old - was already well established when we bought the house 25 years ago - although the fruit then was small & bitter . Through feeding & giving it a good threatening talking to, to avoid being taken out - it now produces these wonderfully large, juicy & tasty mandarins - & so many that we're always giving them away to friends. Same with the lemon tree. No doubt that these fresh citrus fruits can far outdo any that can be purchased from a growers market or ( god forbid ) supermarket chain.

  • +1

So sad that I missed this! When will they have a promotion like this again?

  • Has anyone received a shipping notice yet for their order?

    • I contacted them and they gave me a tracking number

    • Still waiting - Hopefully we all get our citrus hit in the next 48hrs.
***Please note orders placed today will be picked next weekend and posted Monday the 17th of August. - OP

      • According to the order, we suppose to get the tracking number by 17-8-15 ( yesterday ) and yet nothing..
I contacted them but they did not answer their phone..
email them this morning and yet no reply..
        Truly disappointing..

        • Sorry I've had kids at home today with illness. Will send tracking numbers tomorrow for those who've requested. Once the parcels are re scanned at each states parcel delivery centre you should automatically get an update. Unfortunately because we don't lodge 25 pallets over the counter this doesn't happen when they are initially put into the post.

  • +1

Is this express post or just regular post? According to Auspost SA -> Sydney regular post will arrive next Monday, which sounds really bad as these are fresh produce.

    • It's regular post. Generally our parcels arrive in Sydney Thursday/Friday it has been very seldom one has not been delivered before the weekend and this is the reason we post on Mondays. ausposts guides er on side of caution and so are for the most part a a few days out. Express post times shown are more accurate. Often when we can fill whole pallets to a particular state (like this week) things will run even quicker and Nsw parcels will start arriving Wednesday as there is no unpacking of crates required until they reach Sydney.

  • Received mine today (Melb) - didn't request a tracking number but got email updates this morning via AusPost 1) it would be delivered today and 2) it was delivered
Only got oranges - will let you know how they are tonight :)

    • Damn OP, those are good oranges, haven't tasted oranges like that for years

Bring on the next free shipping deal!

  • Still not received mine though :( I am in Melbourne
    Order number - Order: 20150809770065

    • tracking number 99601261204601008400906
We are currently looking into why some of our fruit sent Monday has still not arrived in Melbourne.
Australia Post make it very hard to get answers.
We are confident the fruit will hold up well right into mid next week but it's far from any of our ideal situation.
If when it does arrive the fruit is no good please let us know.

  • My Mandarins are in Brisbane!

Now I just have to wait for them to arrive.

    • They're now on board with the driver!

      • They're so YUMMY!

Thanks again OP - glad I found this deal.

  • OP, The tracking number that you provide is on Initiated status since Thu 13 Aug 2015 15:30. Nothing else shown in there.
I have called Australia Post and they said Fresh Citrus Direct only submit the application online but has not sent it yet.

  • I havnt got even tracking number- My order no 20150809330046. Dont know what to do'???

  • Got mine today and they're good. The mandies and tangelos are sweet. Thanks Op.

Didn't get the grapefruit I ordered

I will order more in a heartbeat.

    I live in Sydney

  • Nothing (No tracking) for me either (Gladstone Park, Melb, VIC). Fingers are still crossed for tomorrow before the weekend hits.

Why the Associate is not responding now. Many people are complaining about the tracking number and delivery. We were told by tuesday/wednesday. Seems they messed up with the orders. If i dont get it tomorrow, I will be asking refund. YES, YOU HEARD IT RIGHT…REFUND

  • -1

Live and learn I guess, maybe next time they can offer express delivery for an extra price fore those that want it earlier than a friday?

    • -2

You need to learn as well. Read post and Comments made my associate before posting here. He has given a clear time frame of delivery.

  • -3

I got the delivery today- HERE IS WHAT I GOT
1-Very Juicy, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT
2-Not sweet by any stretch of imagination. but not sour either
4- The smallest of Mandarin i have seen.

The size is so small that i can fit six or seven in my hand. If we see this size in super market, we just ignore and never bother to look again.I dont know how to upload the pic here to prove it. Very hard to open. I dont know if i put this in oranges category. Would be good if you wants to get the juice out of them. Hopeless if you wanna eat like a mandarin.

In total, i think it was a waste of time and money. If anyone wants to see the picture, pleas feel free to contact me. I will do it before i throw them in the bin

  • Received mine yesterday. Very impressed with the blood oranges and mandarins so far.

  • +1

Op, its Friday now I haven't received my order … in VIC, can you please update? I have called and emailed to no avail.

    • +1

Same here. Hopefully it will come in the afternoon.

      • same here.. still not here..

    • -2

Sorry I've been inundated with emails and they just keep coming.
      All fruit was posted Monday.
Not all pallets sent have made it to Melbourne, we don't know why and are doing all we can to get info out of Auspost.
You should get a tracking number automatically when your parcel is scanned at a parcel center. Since they haven't made it to the Vic one yet this email has not been sent so I've been sending them as quick as I can.
Since the parcels are yet to be scanned all the tracking will show is "initiated" at this stage so it's not of much help anyway.
If you are worried about your order times that by about 100-200 and that's how stressed I am about now.

We have had fruit sit in boxes into mid the following week without much deterioration so we are hopeful your fruit will still make it in good condition. But if, when it does arrive its no good please let us know.

      • Thing is I haven't received any confirmation or contact from you at all… no email confirmation to say fruit has been shipped, no tracking number, no time frame as to when I should expect anything and this is now nearly 2 weeks after I made payment. This and the fact that I have had no reply to my email or any call back from my phone message.. if its all good I would like my money back as

1 - I am not sure the items have been shipped, and 2 - if they have I am unsatisfied to pay premium price for fresh picked produce which is in an unidentifiable location for well over a week before it arrives to me…

        Order No: 20150809610474

  • +5

Alas, also not received mine and our Parcel delivery guy has been for the day so now looks like next week which means perishable stored in who knows what condition for at least 7 days. Given I am in inner Melbourne and others received their delivery on Weds in the same area it kind of indicates who is mostly to blame when the packages were sent at the same time.

All up unfortunately not a good experience, lay it 10% at Citrus Direct and 90% at Aus Post

Citrus Direct - should of put in tracking numbers so people could chase up Aus Post straight away, instead we are stuck waiting on Citrus Direct sending us our tracking number.

Aus Post - Kudos for setting up farmhouse direct but alas your incompetence has made it unusable. From the sounds of it the producers produce is high quality but Aus Post are incapable of performing the task they exist for, delivering things! And unfortunately, the one who suffers is the producer, a local farmer that we should all be supporting, but I will not be via this method again as 7+ days for perishable goods to be delivered between states next to each other is unacceptable.

    Aus Post, you suck!

    • +1

How did u know that Citrus Direct has sent the parcel?

I called Australia post and according to them, Citrus Direct just lodge customer enquiry but on the pick up day, Citrus Direct did not give the parcel to Australia Post.. That's why my parcel are still in "Initiated" status. This is hopeless

      • Interesting as this is all I have on tracking. I am in inner Melbourne

      • Farmhouse direct status page states 'Shipped: 17 Aug 2015, 9:25 PM' but no tracking number. Assumed that was correct but based on what you are saying it may not have been shipped. Until I get my tracking number will not be able to tell.

        • I think u need to contact op to get the tracking number.. he mention it somewhere in the comment..

  • -6

If you are in Sydney and waiting for Mandrines, please feel free to pick up from my place. It is free.you would love to see pocket size baby mandrines. Worst of my online shopping experience. I ish i should have donated $35.00 to local farmers association rather thn buying this crap

  • +2

I am disappointed they have not arrived by today (Friday)

    • Me too.. I tried to call "Fresh Citrus Direct" from wednesday and guest what, voicemail answer the call. They are hopeless..

      • You can give me a ring now if you like.
I'm also the farmer so I don't get to spend as much time at the computer/phone as probably required for this many orders. But I am here now.

    • Fruit arrived today, left feedback on page 3

  • +3

I'm in Melbourne and still waiting for my order as well. Been waiting since Tuesday, as that was the timeframe stated by OP.

  • Sounds like Aus Post have stuffed up, if bored hit up these places with a comment on the quality of there service.

Farmhouse Direct are not the problem here, it's the Auspost freight system.

      • I suggested hitting up both because Aus Post own Farmhouse Direct, but happy to just hit Aus Post!

Good luck with getting in touch with them and let us know when you get an update on the Bermuda triangle between SA and VIC :)

        • Yeah understandable but I know the FHD team are doing their best to help us here are other producers as well. At this stage FHD are lodging an official enquiry to with Auspost on our behalf.
It seems all involved along the chain are saying they've done everything correctly.
We are hopeful the missing fruit is still in good condition when delivered, we've had a box or two return to sender and sit in our shed for a couple of weeks still be fine when opened. Having said that the extended delivery time is far from idea for all parties so if the fruit is not ok when delivered please let us know.

  • +1

It seems that I will not be getting my mandarins today, all the excitement of devouring fresh mandarin is now gone…very disappointed.
I just hope that these mandarins are still okay when it arrives, who knows what sort of environmental condition these mandarins went thru.

  • Hmm. A royal commission perhaps? Didn't get mine as well. Hope they deliver on Saty.

  • +4

Guys, I think that we have to be reasonable. I feel sorry for Tim, the rep, who has to face the music on behalf of Australian Post. He has promised to work out something if the fruit arrived is not ok. So what can we expect more from him?

Fingers crossed that we will receive the parcel by Monday.

  • Got mine 9.3kg pack today (posted Monday night) - good quality, but obviously 0.7 kg juice evaporated on the way.

    • -2

You're complaining about 700 grams of fruit when 40+ people havent even got their $35, 10KG orders until at least next week? Harden the F*&^ up.
