        • Thanks for the link.

Do you know if JB-Hifi, TGG or local store will price patch Discountcameras? Can then use 5% off gift cards and claim TRS to get the price down to near $300 with local warranty, which makes it a pretty good deal.

        • @lilkid28:

JB don't stock it. TGG is online only. Camerahouse won't. Paxton's made up some bs that they won't match a store without a shopfront. However they did match cambuy's price of $359.

        • @lilkid28: I haven't had good experience price matching online camera stores, just some puny discount.

        • Thanks guys. I assume with Discountcameras it will be a full Australian Tax Invoice to claim TRS?

    • I am looking at getting one of these too. Haven't seen it this cheap before. I bought a 18-135 from them for a great price a couple years ago and its been great so I would have no problem buying grey import again.

    • great price!

  • I want the Sony A7 (body or kit), is there any good deal?

  • +2

Code currently not working for camera on t-dimension even though offer is in the header.

  • +2

Tried adding some stuff with "Save 20% off (max disc. $300) - Use code CWEDDING20" underneath the item title, like the following:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nikon-D610-FX-Full-Frame-Digital-…

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nikon-AF-S-NIKKOR-70-200mm-f-4G-f…

but CWEDDING20 isn't being accepted on check out.

"The redemption code can't be used for your purchase
You may have typed in your code incorrectly. Please verify your code and try again."

And it's already past 10am. Could it be starting on the 17th then (T&C link is showing nothing)?

  • +7

be careful, dwi ebay store is more expensive than their own website pricing.

    • +1

Maybe for cameras, but the Zoom H6 Recorder is like $100 cheaper on eBay

  • Tried the code, not working with t-dimension.

  • Now it says that "the voucher code is not yet ready for use. please try again later" on E-Infinity shop. Maybe it's starting on the 17th?

  • would it work on a dsl camera bag?

  • It's working now

  • now it's working! gogogo

  • Purchased D750 for $1,759.89. Thanks OP!
After 4% cashback total comes to $1677.53. Amazing price for this camera!
    Local price $2400

    • you are likely to get GST charged for that I think.

      • yeah most likely. about $175. 4% cashback covers some of it.

  • The price for the Sony RX 100 III is so much higher than no eBay seller.

    Which store has DJI Phantoms?

  • +1

Scored the Olympus OM-D E-M10 twin lens kit for $675.11 without including the cashrewards. Best price I've seen so far, cheers!

    bought this

Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/381344063837

    $844

    • Fabulous lens. I've owned this since the day it came out and I've been very happy with it.

There has been some incidents of focusing issue with Sigma lenses though so I suggest you check it as soon as you receive it. My first Sigma, a 30mm f1.4 DC HSM, was front focusing a bit on my then Canon 40D. It was fixed only after I sent it to the Sigma Service Center for calibration. Never had this issue with the 35f1.4 ART on my Nikon D600 though, so I hope your copy would work fine out of the box.

    • +1

Hmm, I would have paid $55 more and bought it locally for the warranty. If there are any focusing problems, you can exchange it at a local store. If you're going overseas you can TRS it for an even better price.

That's my favorite lens right now. Beaaautiful!

      • $50 more locally not bad. Its $900us most places.. so doube would be $900au..?

        • This is where I bought mine from.

    • +1

sorry to disappointing you, dcexpert (cr kennedy(?)'s ebay store) is usually sell this lens for ~$770, au stock with 2 year local warranty

      • They don't have the canon model listed.

    • For $844 not aus stock? You just got ripped off.

    • I am new to photography and I find the best thing to do is a google search on shopping for prices, make sure you click thru to the basket to find out shipping. Also, loads of reviews on cnet, tech radar & youtube, so look at all of them before buying.

    • Cheapest I found outside Ebay was about $400. If you get the 4% cashback in addition it should be a good buy.

  • $401 is the best value ive ever seen for a GoPro Hero 4 Silver, and about $50 more for the black.

Silvers go for at least 470-570.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GoPro-HD-Hero4-Silver-Standard-Ed…

    • +4

Not really - there have been many deals sub $350 including from eBay

      • +2

        ^This, and AU warranty

      • hadnt seen them! bit the bullet already, and then 10 mins ago someone posts a group deal for $375 just my luck!

  • just got the phantom 3 pro for $1525. Thanks OP

    • Where did you buy from if you don't mind I ask?

    • +1

      What happens with customs >$1k?

      • Hmm yeah, if the parcel is indicated at $1525, you may have to pay extra $152.50 GST tax.

    • That looks good mate…Been thinking of getting something like this for photography. What's the picture quality like if you have any idea.
Would a better option be getting something and mounting my own camera?

  • -1

I am after a 50mm lens, so I found this, lowest end of the spectrum.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens costs $100 after discount, maybe 4% after ebay tracks. Is this a good deal?

I feel that it is as its selling out quick!

    • +1

Nope. Old version. Get the STM version for $35 more from TGG current ebay deal. Worth it for the better build and quiter AF motor.

      • -3

I found TGG here but its $140 with the CTGG20 code!
That's a lot more than $100 for the old model, 40% more for build and less noise? :(

I found it on shopping square for $69 but S&H is $79, that's just DUMB!

  • Well done OP. Just bought an iPad Air 2 64gb Grey for $640 delivered. Thanks.

    • so anything from a participating seller is included? i thought it had to be cameras/lenses?

  • Saw watches and thought at least someone would have the MOTO360 :(

    EDIT - Oops… http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motorola-Moto-360-Black-Leather-S…

    • yeah was keen on the LG Urbane :(

  • No Zenfone 2 Selfie ?

  • Thanks, got the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR.

  • Looking for a good selfie stick, any recommendation? Cheers

    • +11

      yep, don't buy

      • idk, it's useful for solo travel

    • recently bought a sandmarc pole for scuba diving.
      I love it.
comes with gopro mount by default, but that unscrews, and it can take other attachments (they dont come with it)

  • +3

Hacked it together from an old link so I'm not 100% sure it's correct, but here's a link to search all items (not just browse) in the five relevant stores: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?LH_SpecificSeller=1&_saslo…

    • Thanks for link.

nothing under cctv 720p of course, slightly miffed.
      ip camera 0 listings

      within the limited stores anyway.
Sricam Wi-FI HD(global_egrow) from Regents Park NSW would 've come to A$27 delivered and woulda been a deal.

      wooo, nice work!

    • +1

on a side note, the photo confirms yet again there is no such thing as a Vodafone "5 bar". lol

      nice buys , btw. :)

Click each camera and read the amazon reviews. It seems people are having issues with them, mainly the Nikon (water getting in?). It might not be a great idea to buy a grey import waterproof camera if there's even a small chance of having to deal with warranty.

      • Price difference is worth it about $90 less I wouldn't mind. As long as its a reputable brand. I think t-dimension has ok warranty or returns

  • -1

Any good deals on the below - @ work so can't really browse eBay. Thanks!

    • Olympus TG-4
    • Panasonic FZ300.
  • All the listings for Nikon P900 seem to be $900+. Not sure what they were, prior to the deal, but other places have it for under $700.

  • +2

Awesome price on Fuji X100T. Best price local I could find $1480.

With 20% off comes $1046 and then 4% cashback will be 1k.

    • +10% import gst? or local stock?

      • +1

I checked with the seller, they are declaring it under $1000 so no import GST.

If 4% is applied to the full value and 20% off it'll be $994.75. $485 difference with local stock, happy with importing and hopefully no issues.

        • Wow that is a fantastic price. I am so tempted…

        • @luztra:

I think I'm beyond tempted and I haven't even sold my old camera! GAS!?

Insane price though, don't think I've even seen the x100s 2nd hand for this price.

Janet, was this through t-dimension? Seemed to be the cheapest I could track down out of the lot with the inability to search properly on my phone.

          Hmm,black or silver?!

        • @db87: I just bought the silver version so it can sit next to my black version….

        • @drb: lol, it's a bit like that.

I've gone down the quest of minimising everything down to the point where I went through DSLR, then 2 NEX 7's, and now m43. Just got back from a 2 month Eurotrip and I honestly got sick of even lugging the m43 gear around. Camera and 5-6 lenses (used all of them).

35mm is my focal length and have been shooting this for a while so I'm happy there. The x100t ticks more boxes than it ever has. Hopefully reignite the passion to bring the camera with me more often.

        • @db87:
          Did you end up purchasing?
I am stuck between black and silver…

        • @luztra:

See my end post towards the most recent page. Black x100t and rx100 iv.

Reason I went black? Hipsters have killed the nostalgic look for me. I love old cars, vintage anything and this would have been one of them but I don't need a conversation piece. I want a camera.

Secondly, the black is less obtrusive and looks less like a toy. No offence, just my opinion.

Lastly, the black was once a limited edition colour choice for the previous model(s) and harder to come by, so I imagine in the event of resale, I might fare a little better.

          YMMV.

        • @db87:
Good reasoning. I had the silver OMD EM-5 and went for it again with the EM-1 but it came damaged and so opted to change for the black version (but sold it after a week anyway). I think I'll grab the black as well. I just hope I can justify it - sold my iPhone 6 Plus and picked up a 6S Plus with the intention of using it as my main camera, but I have been drawn to the Fuji since the original X100. Sigh…

          TLDR: Going black… :)

        • @db87:
Hey could you flick me the link for the black X100T? I am trying to purchase via my iPhone and cannot for the life of me find the link anymore.

          Cheers!

Never mind, jumped on a computer and found it! :)

        • @luztra: Haha, solid choice. Don't know what you thought of the silver em1 but I bought my em1 when black was the only choice. Was completely underwhelmed by the silver when it was released. It looked so cheap and plasticy(sp?).

A phone camera will NEVER replace an ILC. It'll come close, but will never replace one, that's where I draw the line at needing to own at least 1 good ILC. I've yet to be impressed by anything from a phone when viewing any larger than the phone it was taken on.

I was an original fuji lover, original m43 lover, and original Sony lover but never jumped on board any of them until I felt they were at a good all round package release.

Your GAS sounds a little worse than anything I can compare to. :p

Hope you get use out of all of them though. Not judging at all.

        • @db87:

Yes I much preferred the black EM! to silver.
I don't have a camera at the moment, was just going to pick up up the Sony RX100 or the Canon G7X for now, but hard to pass up the Fuji at this price (and oh-so-pretty).
          Thanks

        • @db87: Hey sorry didn't see your message. I bought mine through t-dimension and got the silver one. Never had a X100 before and replacing my broken Nikon D7000. Time to sell some lenses!! :)

        • @junet:

Yeah, I'll be in a similar boat. As above, my latest story is said EM1 took a swim in the lake of St. Moritz. I'm in the middle of getting it replaced/paid out through insurance and in the meantime will be selling all of my m43 stuff. Seriously lost the passion having it all with me on our holiday. Don't get me wrong, loved the shots I was able to get with it, but it became laboursome at times rather than fun.

I must yearn for a Leica or something of the sort because I just can't fathom the need for such excess anymore.

So I went for the poor man's Leica. It'll do. Enjoy your purchase.

  • how to search for an item just from those participating stores?

  • thanks op, caved in and got two lenses before cash back ended ;) t-dimension, send me my 24-105 f/4L and 10-22 soon!

    • cashbacks don't apply to HK stock ?
