          @subywagon: Grabbed a copy of GTAV on ps3 but apart from that just waiting to see if they add any headphones. They had some extra tablets on clearance this morning that I didn't notice yesterday but didn't see any new laptops.

          @jlc123: I double checked tvs today with a fellow Ozbargainer, nothing unfortunately. I overheard another Ozbargainer asking staff about the tvs and apparently there were only two great bargains had yesterday and the rest are as ticketed unfortunately. That Ozbargainer bagged one of those torture devices though :p

      They scan at those prices. Mac book pro retina 15 16gb 256ssd was 1199 today and Mac book air was 398 for 2014 model.

    Weird b/c they had a Sony DSLR (can't remember the model) in the display case at emporium when I asked if any discounts on that, guy said no, but when I went later it was gone. Still plenty of 70D's at full price.

    Went to a few DSEs around me but no luck with any TVs. Was hoping for a 40" to replace the 32 in the study. Most were newer models that weren't discounted as heavily.

    Surprisingly there were quite a few decent PS4/Xbone games in stock. Alien: Isolation, Shadow of Mordor, Evolve, Evil Within etc… I know they're quite old now but for 10/20 bucks it's not bad (I didn't scan or buy any of them).

          I'm pretty sure they sold out of the gaming stuff about 2 years ago because I can remember going in there when they had a clearance sale on everything. Not 100% sure about Tv's…

    I just missed out on a 21.9 inch tv with dvd player for $16… they had one in stock in Perth but couldn't find it
    Same goes for a FHD Sony 40 inch for $50 :\

    Did manage to score a LG 3D Bluray / 500gb twin tuner recorder / smart tv player for $30 - sealed!

    and 2 x Kaiser Baas smart android tv players for $30 each

    I went into the Move store at Indooroopilly yesterday at 5pm or so. They had 1 Canon 700D SLK, but it was floor stock only and the Lens was stolen, so it was just the base camera. They had it labelled as $249, but if it's still there someone could probably grab it for less (people posted 199 or 179 or something for the floor model without lens yesterday).

    David Jones southland in VIC had some blueray players for $4.80-11.50.

    Quite a few console games at the dicksmith in southland. There seems to be a lot of stuff still left over, but the staff has no idea what's on sale. They're happy to look it up for you though if you have a model number.

    Walked into Dickies near chapel street, told the guy at front I was a long time lurker at OZbargain but a member now. He looked me in the eye and shaked my hand, bought the list out and after buying the TVs helped me to my car. Gentleman! True Story! ;)

    It's a legitimate condition and one I feel needs further scientific study.

    I have watched this thread all day, more for a laugh than anything else, but I can't look away (like a train wreck) in case there is a bargain discovered that I might actually have a chance of obtaining :P

      +1! I went to Dicks in Albury today in hope of finding a 7D. They didn't have any so wandered around. Nothing tickled my pickle, so glad I saved money. Ive got a 5D and no need for the 7D… Ozbargain brings out the worst in me when its a legit bargain!haha

    Went to Dick's at Mermaid, Gold Coast and spoke to the manager - was told that they had no clearance stock at that store.
    Seemed a bit shady

    My colleague bought an Asus notebook for $299.00 and pretty much everything else was gone by the time we got to DSE Box Hill and Nunawarding today. Supposedly, they had 1 PS VITA 3G/WiFi for $99.00 at Nunawarding but they somehow "couldn't locate the unit in the whole store". Yea yea…

      I had a very pleasant interaction with the staff there (Nunawading) and especially the manager and some junior sales person.
      They brought out 2x Iphone 6, 5-6 IPADs and 1x Macbook Pro from the back for the 5-6 people in the queue at 9am. They were patient with all of us and served us one at a time. So I can't imagine why they would keep a $99 PS VITA for themselves. Maybe in this case it really wasn't to be found… Bad luck

      I have only positives to say about the staff at DS Nunawading and DS in David Jones @ Doncaster.
      Shame to anyone here abusing staff, no matter if they keep items in the back for themselves or not.

      Very poorly managed inventory. Some of the prices are just ridiculous…

      For many items they could've just discounted it by 20% online and it still would've sold out.

      It's idiotic especially macs which are high demand. They were selling Mac book air for 399 and retina Mac book with 16gb ram for 1199. A twenty or thirty percent discount would have sufficed.

      My ex-display LG G2 had the screen jitters (fault). Had to take it back or deal with LG service (never again). It was a great pick up though!

          That doesn't burn, I don't actually live there.

          Anyway, they had a few PS3 PS4 games, some Disney Infinity stuff, and not much else. Cameras were cleaned out apart from a few meh ones still in the cabinet. Nothing discounted heavily in the TV section, a few specials nothing spectacular. Quite a few customers but no one really buying anything.

      I was there twice today to see if they were putting stickers out but no clearance items and consoles apparently aren't being cleared (non-bundled and bundled). They still had 3 XB1s and a PS4 when I went there from memory but no way could I get it for $299. It was $499 or $550 in a bundle from memory.
