I've got this drill and it's great. However, be warned, it's a 12v Ni-Cad battery, not lithium.

The quality feels good (although i'm not an aficionado of cordless drills), and the hard case is nice. The bits seem to get minced up pretty easily, so be warned. Keep in mind this is a drill driver, so it won't have anywhere near the same RPM as a cabled hammer drill. It's great for jobs around the house though.

Would i buy again? yes, but it's a DIY drill.

Thanks for the heads up on it being a Ni-Cd. Would have grabbed one if it was Li-Ion.

Am I the only one who saw cassette and thought cassette player?

    no

  • It's $50 c&c at Box Hill so comes down to 45 before CR, wish etc.

    I ordered one, thx op!

  • I bought one of these for about $80 a year ago, I found it lacked power (I am used to an 18v one though) and the NiCd batteries weren't that great. Sold it on Gumtree for $60 last week. Construction is good, small size is handy for small hands and tight spots…
