    You should have split the payment, $100 on Amex and the rest of the payment with 5-10% off Wish cards

      Is split payment allowed on checkout online? I recall there were only 2 payment options, credit card or gift card. There didn't seem to have a field for entering a partial payment, so if selecting credit card, the full amount would have been charged?

        you need to pay the gift card amount first, you can select the amount to charge per gift card.

        You can do either first, just select cc or gc, input the part payment amount, eg $100 on cc and then ~$30.50 on wish gc

      oh no! i forgot to use amex. entered gift card first.. found out that if you change your order you lose your gift card too.. guess i have to buy another lot of grocerires for my amex sighs..

  You can do even slightly better by purchasing $80 gift cards at Dan Murphys online with the $15 AMEX credit and using them for this.

      Actually it's been proven by various ozbargainers on that post that the Dan Murphy e-Gift cards can be used online as it is technically still a Wish gift card.

  Our grocery bill is around $20 a week.
  I'm thinking something along the lines of gift cards or opal recharge, etc (both of which aren't available online of course)

    Toilet paper, paper towels, pet food, cans of beans. Look for specials of non-perishables. Woolworths have $1.29 Colgate toothbrushes this week, that's a pretty good price. But to get to $120….

    Correct. They are separate deals. Buy the wish cards at 5% off. Go back to CR, go to the Woolies store. Spend $120 and pay using wish cards.

  I used API rewards which were also offering $25 cashback. I also used the code SCHOOL10, would this have voided the cashback offer? How long does it take for the cashback to show in the account, Dan Murphys usually comes up within a few hours?
