    • This applies as much to Pencil as to any other Apple product purchased from Kogan, Dick Smith, etc.:

Warranty - Big Q: Is there a Valid APPLE Warranty (prev Apple products we got from Kogan came with Long-Ago EXPIRED Apple warranriy. CHECK [Kogan owned] Dick Smith's Warranty BEFORE you buy.

Pro price isn't that bad compared to what people are still charging for a regular Air/Air2.

(Rubbish in relation to a decent android tablet of course).

      which android tablet?

    • +1

thats true…. still i dont get why this pencil thing isn't included since the whole point of the pro is to be a tablet you can use to write on! lol at least in the more expensive 12inch version anyway… id feel a bit ripped off paying the asking price of the bigger pro only to have to fork out $130 for a pencil …

        Yes, totally agree.

Unsurprising though, given their business model for accessories right across the Mac/iDevice lineup…

        • yep your right .. it isn't surprising

I'm a big Android guy but… honestly - I don't think there IS a decent Android tablet. Never thought I'd say that but my ipad is much better than any Android offerings.

        Pixel c?

      • +4

Yeah, I'm an android guy myself and I have an iPad.

For me it's really just a coffee table device for light browsing and a few movies/boardgames with my gf while travelling, so it's much of a muchness for me.

I agree, I can't say I've seen the holy grail of Android tablets yet. The iPad, while basic, is functional and slick.

On the other hand, there's no way I could stand being stuck with an iPhone full time…

          What specifically about iPhone?

  • +1

Good price, but they don't sell the 126gb model. ><!

  • Damn that's so damn cheap :(
I want Aussie stock, supported by Apple but to my knowledge, that is now $200 cheaper than any Aussie retailer, right?

    • Also has anyone had issues with a foreign ipad, what are the issues if you do? …. Apple Australia won't even consider it right? (even in store?)
5 years ago Apple phones had an international warranty :(

Also, is the box for HK identical? Does it come with the box? Anyone got any stories on dealing with Kogan? I'm really tempted by this, it's about $699 after cash rewards.

I believe you get 12 months local warranty with iPads from overseas?

It's only grey import phones that they don't honour warranty.

And it should come brand new still in box. It just have different charger since made for different market

    • Yes, as long as iPad is WiFi only model.

      • Is this confirmed anywhere in writing? First I've heard of it.

  • Do they have an Apple eraser too?

    • RRP $149.
Two day batterly life. Device must be updated to IOS 9.13.

  • Ok done :( I've bought an import, I hate myself.
    Thanks man.

  • Still can't replace a laptop

  • Is anyone else's iPad pro making annoying buzz noises, depending on what's on the screen?
Pot your ear right up near the volume rockets and scroll this page, it reminds me of faint plasma buzz…. ,:(

It's quiet I have stupid good hearing

    • God damned thing is purring like a kitten :(
