    I saw all the bad reviews and joined the 24 month plan anyway lol … Couldnt be happier, Stan and Presto run just as well as Netflix… 11mbps even during peak. Inner west Sydney

    not available in my area. I'm guessing it's too hilly. $89 a month for unlimited wireless broadband is pretty good I thought.

    A more efficient approach would be to take a couple of hundred dollar notes and flush them down the toilet, then go back to whatever you were doing before this seemed like a good idea. My experiences with Vivid Wireless in a few different locations in Sydney - within 10Km radius of the city - have been shockingly bad.

    Vivid recently started offering connections on Optus LTE 2300Mhz network. Previously it was their own WiMAX network.

      Wouldn't that imply that they offer their service all over the country though? I tried their address check for a property in QLD (Sunshine coast), and it said no coverage.

    Im still with the old vivid WiMax connection in Perth and its not too bad. Better than Optus Adsl around my area..

    But of course it is not the best.

      Same here - we're in Perth and have been using the Vivid WiMax since 2010. As you said, it's not the best, but better than a lot of other options and for some in Perth it's about their only option. It was certainly a huge improvement on our previous ISP, Virgin Broadband (do they even still offer this?) - OK for the first 6 months of our contract, and pretty bl**dy terrible for the remaining 18 months!!!

    I just signed up with these guys a week ago in Adelaide and they have been great. I was on Adam Wimax in my old house and this is noticeably faster and doesn't drop out every 5 minutes like the Wimax did. If you are in Adelaide I would say go for it. If you do and want a referral code (we both get a free month) mine is 62182.

    If you sign up for 24 months contract, you probably can get cheaper than this for long term.
