      60DegC operating temp, 70DegC storage pending on how hot it'll get in your vehicle in summer I'd say close to working at it's limits for brief periods of our summer when it's heat soaked. Typically 60Deg +-10Deg in a sealed cabin is about as much as a cabin temps. gets in Brisbane, RACQ did a few tests, the type of vehicle, how it's parked (as in windows cracked open), shade and cloud cover plays it's part. YMMV

    Great Dash cam, purchased from these guys took 2 weeks. It's quite a big unit and isn't as stealthy as they say.

    Didnt know the 119c existed! 118C very good for the price, better than the others in this price range due to how it mounts on the window.

      current a119 is Novatek chip. a119s will have a sony chip. a119G is also out, which includes a GPS for an additional $10.

    I don't get it why Everbuying insists on ozbargainers to keep creating NEW and more accounts? why can't you just let customers have one account and use the code? What is really the point of same person having multiple accounts? creating database?

      You can definitely apply coupon code without creating new account. Then it will be US $42.39. New account is just to save you extra ~$2. If you don't care about saving extra $$ then you can just use your previous account.

    Has anyone had any previous issues with this dashcam unit?
    Will it be ok to split the USB (power) cable it comes with and hardwire / tap into direct power from the car, rather than having the cable dangling?

    Be wary buying the Xiaomi products from Everbuying, I purchased a redmi 2 only to find they had replaced MIUI with a custom OS version full of adware which randomly replaced the screen with adverts, very annoying when trying to make/receive calls

        ^With the current 10% off which ends tomorrow midnight, otherwise the current aliexpress deal posted in the last 3 or so hours. Aliexpress also has the DHL option for quick shipping which seems to be more suited for you. Both are great prices. It's a bit hit and miss with the ROM. Communicate with the seller if it is that important. Otherwise, if you have a windows PC you can flash the official Global ROM or the xiaomi.eu ROM (I recommend the latter). There are many guides on how to do this.

    Went to place an order tonight. Deal didn't say expired or anything. Initially, thought I'd buy 2, came out to be $116.82 ($58.41@), then I registered since I never bought from everbuying before, total then came to $129.01. Went to the next page to pay, still says $129.01 even after entering the code previously. Now I've registered with my email, I won't be able to use this again for the next deal with 100EB points. Just another scam or very poorly designed interface. Order cancelled.

        Nope, it was exactly what I said it was, twelve hours ago for me. I've bought from them before, so I'm well acquainted with their website.

        I've not had any particular dramas with them (apart from some really slow deliveries); however, there's been enough complaints to get them banned here, and plenty of credible reports of sketchy behaviour; hence my disclaimer regarding bravery! ;)
