    can anyone find the sizing for the Casa Amuk polished man tshirts when donating $50? Happy to do it for having two or three days of burgersm but then just curious how sizing is. Being close to 185cm height i tend to be a large but sometimes XL in some sizes, just didn't want a shirt to goto waste. Not looking for a tight fit, just a relaxed fit, without looking ridiculously large and baggy as i've got wide, broad shoulders and the height, but generally a slim body build.

    If anyone's received the large or XL and cares to comment? Or has found the sizing?

    The "sizing" on the website only quotes the female model on all the listings, nothing about males :(

        hey! nope - I only posted last night and haven't dared order it in yet. The referencing for that iconic link says:

        "Our model is wearing a size medium tee, and usually takes a size medium/40 shirt. He is 6’2” (188cm) tall with a 38” (96.5 cm) chest and a 31.5” (80 cm) waist"

        He looks pretty tall and funnily enough I am in the 180s too for height. I think my chest is closer to 40" or 100cm which I assume is the suit jacket sizing since I remember I am 100 - giv eor take abit more. However, he has a pretty tiny waste, I'm closer to 34"-36" these days with my weight gain, which is 88-90cm. So large may work well for me.

        But the problem is they don't tell you what sizing each shirt goes up by. Large could be marginally larger. I'm just going for a relaxed fit that's long and baggy enough without looking ridiculous. I may just go XL as you can never feel uncomfortable unless it's super gigantic, it may just look abit floppy and odd. Whereas a large that just fits too tightly can feel uncomfortable. Am hoping someone here has received the shirt and can comment on large/xl sizes. I also asked ygap for sizing but haven't heard back yet.

    Another day, another lack of voucher. This time its reversed. Where yesterday I got nothing in my Gmail but we did in the hotmail. Today nothing in hotmail but lo and behold gmail is all fine.

    Frustrating as partnera obviously missing one. Signed the parents up to the cause and no voucher either.

    Beginning to wonder if their email systems abit shoddy. Guess it limits their burgera they've got to hand out. Regardless if it sends to an address one morning but not the next it makes me wonder if they selectively are sending out, or they have a real issue with their email system.

    With that said if anyone was not using a voucher would appreciate using it for the partner. At least both can go.

      Who knows whats up with it, but once again I got my voucher, haven't missed out on one.

        I have emailed them, but realistically I doubt they'd check their inboxes and get a reply/solution out even before tomorrow's last day of burgers, let alone today.

        It's just weird and kind of a shoddy system where I received one yesterday, yet none today. For the email that didn't receive one yesterday, it was received today.

        Just plain weird. Either some really flimsy system design on their email lists , or maybe they're selectively culling some coupons to some on some days - I mean we'd never know right?

          yeah i'll give it a shot. I'm sure their inundated with others in similar scenarios, and I didn't want to push for something 'free' due to the moral compass with charity, but would have been nice to have gotten them.

          yeah, I signed up people for the fundraiser and on the basis of one per person. wouldn't call it right if you're claiming 3 or 4 coupons a day yourself and just swinging form one grill'd outlet to another. It would have been easier if they designed something that worked differently from this system, but oh well - their site, their rules. Funnily we'll probably get all the vouchers tomorrow when our group 'trip' to grill'd would have expired haha.

          Got a reply from grill'd with a barcode to print! woo! i did notice one could potentially create new barcodes by modifying parameters - I am hoping they don't work but it is interesting because if it does theoretically I could make as many grill'd vouchers as I want. Maybe the system has to register that barcode # in the system rather than pplz just creating them.

          Obviously I am only printing the barcode they gave me, not something you should abuse , nor should you eat more than one grill'd burger too. Not to mention the charitable side of it! But I'm sure some sneaky bugger out there will think of trying to do the shifty.

          @SaberX: I can confirm that generating a new barcode does not work - the link they provide is unique and activated on their end. so although ig ot a new barcode created to 'test' the secureness of the system from being rorted, it did not work instore.

          Needless to say even if it worked I wouldn't have used more than the one barcode, but I was just curious how secure it was judging by the amount of people just there for free burgers and with no care about the cause.

          So far the grill'd response to sending me the barcodes once I emailed their [email protected] was pretty good. So +1 to their service responsiveness.

          I got checked for the nail today, none yesterday on my first redemption try. so guess it's hit and miss.

    After resisting spending extra at all previous visits, had a bit of a blow out tonight as it was our last night (can't go tomorrow night, but will go for lunch).

          they don't send a generic one. it's unique - I can attest to that. you'll see at the end of your url link - which is your barcode number essentially.

          And no, changing it and generating a new one won't work - it's activated on their end.

          You would only be able to use yours once as it's unique.

    Just had my last polished man burger…

    The staff look visibly tired (I assume due to regular lines out the door).

    I usually have a view of the counter and many have codes (including groups of people!)

    One guy I was speaking to yesterday was new/helping out because they were expecting big demand - not because they were close to a major sporting event, but because of polished man (lol).

    Hopefully they post stats of # burgers given away etc (or maybe we need a poll!)

    Edit: got home and found a voucher for a free load of bread from bakers delight in the mailbox - if only the lettuce (from the $1 seed deal) had grown enough to be the fillings…

    Got my last burger today.. Allmighty. Went to a different store and this time they did check the nail, and for those that didn't have it, the staff polished the nail for them. Still offered takeaway though.

    Enjoyed this promo and great that it is raising awareness for a good cause. I don't think the burgers are anything special, actually I would rarely buy at the prices they charge, but for free it has been great.

      How determined are you to get one ?

      My local is open late…I'd try and scope out who is on the till and avoid that person.

      Print off the T&C's and politely offer to step through them to verify your eligibility.

      I've asked for a manager before because they couldn't get the coupon to scan…(but they may have more reason to knock you back rather than random staff member for whom it would be more effort doing this than simply serving you)

      In general, bad PR for the sake of 1 final burger; and risk you not returning

        I agree. Heck, even the manager of one store remembered me and light-heartily said "Today's the last day for free burgers! Gonna come back for more after this?" to which I replied "Hahaha maybe" (it also doesn't help when you have a fairly unique name that is recognisable in an instant).

          After this exercise, I think I will be visiting Grill'd more often. Maybe not daily often, but once every other week/month.
