With the cost of tickets, popcorn and a drink should be free!

    • $10 on tuesdays isn't so bad, you can barely buy a soft drink and popcorn elsewhere at that price.

They've bumped it up to $13 on Tuesdays now :(

        • Still $9.50 at my local.

        • @gilbarc: Lucky! Which Event is it if you don't mind me asking? Wouldn't mind travelling a bit for a movie day!

    • I suggest you look at the economics of ticket pricing. It is rather interesting and reveals why concession stand sales are very important to maintain profitability for cinemas.

      • Better any business than none at all. Unfortunately I like to bring my own snacks, because they dont sell everything.

  • wouldnt it be cheaper to just pay the telstra thanks price and pay the normal price for pop corn combo?

    • No, my closest Event for a standard movie has it at
      Masterpass Combo ticket - $19.50
      Telstra Tickets - $12.50
      Med Combo - $13.00

    • can you combine both?

      • Unfortunately no.

    What a deal! You're saving about $400!

$12 tickets on Tuesday combined with the buy one get one free when paying with Masterpass.
Saw Shin Godzilla for ~$6 each.

OP why do you do this: "unless you like watching movies alone"
    sigh… :(

    • time to find a boy/girlfriend, or not, if you want to take advantage of this deal :)

Because it's true… For those of us who like watching movies alone, this is a better deal!

I'm married, prefer going to movies alone.

  • not many cinemas in melbourne

    • event is practically all nsw. Village for Vic i think? Pretty convenient arrangement to avoid any sort of competition.

      • And QLD

  • i wonder if you can get it with entertainment book tickets?

  • DOnt forget VIP cinebuzz gives u unlimited popcorn refills!

  • Can u combine Telstra tickets and pay with master pass to collect your popcorn and drink?

  • I was not able to see this option when booking tickets at my local cinema :(
