        GJ btw, I've never owned an xbox but have played one. If it was GoW + BF1 I would've gobbled this up, but Infinity Ward lost me as a customer after MW2. A real shame what they did to the CoD franchise.

      Really? I tried to get the storm grey a couple of days ago using the 10REWARDS code and couldn't get it to work. Worked fine with the 2TB stand alone console but refused to work with bundles.

    Can you attach an external USB portable HDD to install and play games when the internal 500GB HDD is full?

    If yes, how does the performance and response time of an external USB portable HDD compare to the internal HDD?

      Yes! Only requirements are that it be USB 3.0 and minimum storage size of 256GB (although people on Reddit have reported getting smaller ones to work). Performance will depend on the make and model hdd. Nearly all external hdd's will equal or outperform the stock internal drive. Particularly if you add an external 7200 drive (or if you have the cash, a SSD will blow any HDD away,).

      The HDD needs to be formatted of course to only read and write on Xbox of course. I use one of those cheap ones from verbatim, when booting up the console, maybe the odd second or so of delay of it reading it but in terms of playing when games have installed on there, I have had no problem.

        I was thinking about this, I've currently got an Xbox One and looking to get an S. Would it be possible to just switch over my external 3TB drive with all games on it or will it need to be formatted again to read on the S?

          You can just plug your existing external in - the games will need to "Get themselves ready" (which is really just resigning themselves with your new console specific key) on first launch, but it only takes a couple of seconds and works perfectly.

      No… They haven't invented 4k DVD players yet. I believe it plays 4k blu ray and Netflix tho.

      I would say yes. Gears 4 is brilliant, and you get all the previous Gears games with it for free via backwards compatibility. If you're a Halo fan, you can now pick up Halo 5 for under $20, and MCC for about $8.

        Wow. After explaining that it is impossible to remove the CoD, thus impossible to continue to check out, I was told to remove the CoD to continue to checkout.

          @Super8Tab: Based on past experience of a similar promise, I wouldn't trust them to come through.

          Seriously, they should be grateful for the report that their system is broken and action a fix, instead of being stupid and rude about it to those reporting. They should also know how their system actually works…

          The CoD offer is still advertised for three days, with no caveats (at least that I could find). As such the current situation means that it's false advertising.
