This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD
  • ULP
  • 111.9/litre

Step 3: Upvote the comment if you found it helpful

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

    11-seven script has not updated since before 10am this morning? Maybe having issues again? If master131 needs help to maintain it, maybe we can offer some help? Mind you, I have no idea about scripts but I'm sure others here have a clue ;) I am also willing to learn.

      I'm fixing it now, one crowdsourcing service really does not like me polling their servers so I'm ditching it. The only way that people can help at the moment is by submitting any awesome prices they find that's not showing up on the script to GasBuddy.

          @cooni: I've been mucking around with the app myself recently and I'm stuck trying to get it to compare more than 5 stores prices. I can get it to do the searching but it still only finds the closest store, not any of the rest.

          But on a positive side I've disabled the mock location check, and interestingly everytime it notices you're rooted or have mock locations enabled it send it to their servers.

          @Freighter: I’m not talking about messing with the app, I mean reversing the API and scraping their servers systematically getting prices for every servo.

      I left work 30mins early to fill up 40L out of 60Ltank. 20c or so per L off compared to other stations.

      Mayb fill small amount at woolies to get by till the next cycle. I'm sure u have 4c vouchers banked up. And some egifts.

      Enter your login details in the login section of the app, all your information should automatically sync

      Edit: I should add you also have to install the 7 Eleven app thru the Google Play app store on the Nox emulator

        how could you put the location of Nox emulator to the location in AUS you want for cheap fuel? try the mock location will not work for fuel app. the current location of the Nox emulator app detected is Bethune Park LA!

    For those looking to fill up.

    Bibra Lake, WA is 135.3c for U91 today.

    Not too sure why it isn't showing up on the master131's link at the moment.

          Probably pointless information, but I did notice the 7-eleven app was still showing the previous day's price at Bibra Lake on Saturday until around 7:30am AWST, even though prices should change at 6am AWST. Not too sure why.

    Guys, with the app cloner app you can create a copy of the existing app.

    Then create a new email and account to lock an additional 150$ worth if you need to. Don't need a new device.

        You should get a fundme or patreon page so people can rewrd your contribution. Without the site i would never be ble to be bothered searching cheapest locations. Big ups to you man!

          @sween64: Byethost has a free plan which I assume master is using but hopefully the ads give him some compensation for his time. I disabled my adblocker on both my phone/desktop.

          @machej: Yes the website is running on a free plan. Costs are only associated with the Pi I run at home 24/7 that submit the prices which isn't that much anyway.

        OK, looks like they've misreported the price. The official 7-11 app is reading 139.9 for U91 at Success WA (updated at 7:10am). Don't know if they misreported to the state government or to the app.

          I think there's just a delay in the app. It was noted over this weekend by someone else. Success WA is now showing 133.9 in the 7-Eleven app.

        Looks like it literally got Ozbargained, daily hit limit on server host was reached. Won't be back for another 18 hours. Either traffic has grown (doubtful) or somebody is hammering the site. There is a huge spike for today.
