  • What about the 55inch model?

    • No 55 inch model available in Costco, Auburn…

      • Thanks!

      55 inches X9300D in Costco was $2199.

55 X8500D in HN for $1495, plus $90 eftpos gift card.

      • Are looking to purchase 55 inch 9300d?

  • Been at this price at costco 3 months ago

Waiting to see $2000 will buy one.

I will be legally blind by then.

They used to be above $8000 already half price, will wait 6 more months, will catch at $2000.

        • I hope you prove correct, but your thinking is very linear.

  • Buy it from the good guys and use their 30 day price guarantee. You'll get the tv for effectively $3100.

You probably won't because of Cosco's membership.

      • Costco don't advertise or confirm prices over the phone. Might be hard to prove the deal.

I don't think TGG will accept Costco's price for their 30-day price match.

    • Just got a Coles mastercard with price protection. Haven't used it yet - can anybody tell me whether this is a good situation to use it? If people think the TV will be much cheaper in 2 years? If the Costco membership is the problem then would this be feasible if it was at HN?

      • Model life doesn't allow this sort of game. This price is likely to do with pending End of Line Status. The E models should be out soon.

  • Pretty sure I saw this in JB Oxley QLD today for $3600 - $3700.

  • Sub $3K and I'd pull the trigger! (patiently waiting) lol

  • What are the chances of the 75x9400 model heading in this direction?

    • I haven't seen any 75x9400c floating around.

I paid over $6k in June Last year. It's an absolute incredible unit, and accompanied with the matched Wireless Sony Sub I now only turn on my AV for true 5.1 cinematic sources.

I thought I got one of the last ones, unless you find a display model somewhere (make sure you check the speakers as there are always people who think you should poke exposed speakers.

I will point out that the 75x8500D speakers naturally are a lot less powerful but probably on par with all other LED TVs speakers.

      • @Glo what did you pay over $6k for last year, the 8500 or 9400? Cheers

        • 9400C

  • I want one of these, but doubt there will be any at Auburn store by the weekend :D

    • Expires on Wednesday 24th
