The advertisement says if you buy the Google Home for $199 you can pay an extra $10 and get the Chromecast or the Chromecast Audio throne in with it. So it's Google Home + Chromecast or the Chromecast Audio for $209.
That's not what the title says.
Purchase at Harvey Norman for $199 and use the $50 gift card to get the Chromecast 2 or Chromecast Audio for $47. Save $10 + $3 to spend in store.
Yeah can't say this is a better deal than that… You end up with 196 for the two with the Harvey deal…
Side note, when i got the Harvey normal deal your speaking of, some of the newer HN gift cards can take 24hrs to activate, that is what HN staff told me at the check out.
I went to JB today. They wouldn't price match the HN deal nor price match Chromecast 2 or Chromecast Audio to $47. I was wanting to get the Home + Chromecast deal and also buy separately an extra Chromecast. JB also told me that the above $209 JB deal was available online only?
Instead of buying from JB online & waiting about an hour or so for their computer systems to update & show my online purchase for click & collect I went to HN's and saved myself time, $10 & have $3 change to spend in store from the deal + saved $12 on the extra Chromecast :) Staff at HN's were super pleasant & fast. However, I always hate listening to their extended warranty upsell speeches. Maybe saying no thank you is too polite as they pushed hard to change my mind - 1st tactic: it's only $19 extra (make it sound inexpensive?), 2nd tactic: what if something goes wrong (appeal to my desire to feel protected?), 3rd tactic: well I guess that's my decision (making me feel bad?).
It's not a bad deal, but you're better off buying at Harvey Norman.

Lol, I bought a Mitsubishi fridge recently at Harvey Norman…which is the only retailer that stocks the latest 2017 Mitsubishi fridge.
I guess my soul has no value too.
Who would chose the Chromecast Audio for $209 ???
